Course Curriculum Overview
Our faculties may be sugar coated but definitely not our course. It's such a vast course that three and half long semester feels like 6 months long. Academics are super tough and when I say that are double the tough than DU, I am not exaggerating at all.
Internships Opportunities
I was glad that in 2025, I got the opportunity to intern at Japanese firm Nomura as they chose our college to hire a couple of interns and I was one of those. A stipend of 45k was offered which was then highest ever of USME.
Placement Experience
For USME, FMCG and Financial companies are the ones which are put in place. The only reason is that those are the companies where we can add value and placements of both courses of USME happens together and combined if I say around 75% students are placed. My plan though is to join GIPE after my graduation ends this year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Well if there's a university where party don't stop then that is DTU. So now one will imagine that the fees must be high but that's not the case as our university fees is much lesser. However in comparison to other central university it's high but for me I feel it's more than affordable as around 3 lakhs and graduation done from DTU in economics.
Campus Life
Our USME events are mostly academic related but DTU is a party warhorse and therefore DJ events and Navratri celebrations and all also keep happening at our campus. Also, we have around 5 buildings in our campus and one is purely for our our branch like both BAE and BBA. Canteen of our campus is big as over 1000 students have to manage with one.
Admission
I have mentioned this that since DTU was always my favourite I would have taken admissions in DTU even if it was not in Delhi. CUET is the way to get here as otherwise there's no way that one can get admission here. There ain't any management seat or anything and every 180 individuals who are here have come through the entrance score.
Faculty
I don't what and how our faculties deals with us as but one more time or perhaps a million times, I will say this that I get lost to moon when they teach. Their teaching makes sure that we don't have to fear as they teaches us not just to score well but how to be head over wheels too. In short even their strictness feels like sugar.
Night Life
Rozan Bakery, Bakebook Bakery and definitely the Char Chapel Tea Point. Yes they serve cigarette too and many students do that but for partying I prefer HR Cafe. Rest we do travel to CP and other points of Delhi as they too aren't that far away.
