Course Curriculum Overview

My specific course is BA Program ( Sanskrit + Philosophy) . My inclination towards history and philosophy influenced me to opt for this course . It has vast potential when talked in terms of preparation for civil services.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 40000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Numerous internships are available for the college students namely of global brands like Iqoo, poco etc with the role extending from promoter to brand ambassadors. Also numerous online internships from oversea parties consisting of data entry work are available.

Placement Experience

There is no placement support from my college for my specific course . I plan to pursue civil services after completing my graduation from Hansraj,. Other than my course , students usually get elegible for most placements during their third semester

Fees and Financial Aid

I come under the Unreserved ( UR ) category. I am currently enrolled in Ba program course . Here is a detailed breakdown. Tution fees - 180 Registration fees - 100 Development fees - 1500 Enrollement fees - 240 Among others . The total estimate tallies around 35750

Campus Life

There are numerous clubs and societies active in the college ranging from art , history, performing arts etc . Also the freshers party Euphoria has been a major attraction for students. The sports facilities are also top grade with all equipment in State-of-art condition

Admission

Other than Hansraj, i applied for St. Stephen's college and the Hindu college. Its vibrant landscape and diverse crowd encouraged me to join Hansraj college. The admission in Hansraj's undergraduate programmes happen only through CUET(UG) scores . I couldn't take admission in the above mentioned colleges as I couldn't clear their prescribed cutoff.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1 teacher per 40 students. The faculty is very accommodating and reasonable and understanding. The year is divided into 2 semesters- odd and even with practicals and theory exams making it a total of 22 credits.

Night Life

The college is located within the bustling Kamla nagar market with its numerous hangout spots . My favourite spot is the Bistros café. The locality is also safe with numerous police booths and patrolling vechiles dotting the area . The college also ha good gym and hostels within

Honest review of DU SOL B.A. good for working students not for regular college experience

I choose B.A from DU SOL because the course curruculmis exactly the same as regular DU colleges which gives degree strong crediblity for UPSC goverment jobs and further studies like M.A the syllabus is coprehensive and covers core subjects like histyory, poltical science and english litreature in detail

KMC and DU reality and my college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is a bit too theoretical and less practical. The exams in the college takes places every month which are seasonals and are for internal marking and then we have semester exams in every 6 months which accounts for the external marking.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Life at Hansraj!

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really very interesting. It keeps up with our expectations. Involves both practical and theoretical aspects to make sure that we are able to face the real world. Also, with the help of the guidance that we get from teachers we're able to ace both the aspects. Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

DCAC- a summary of college life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course itself is prestigious and is mostly opted for by people who plan either on preparing for the Civil Services or those who want to pursue academia. The course structure is framed in a manner that you don't just simply study history there, but you ingrain a critical viewpoint of a young historian. The faculty of History Hons. has some of the best Professors in the University, although you will in any course at any college find some teachers below your expectations, you don't have to bear them for more than 1 or 2 semesters. Passing the exams is not very difficult, but yes scoring above average is. If you get a GPA ranging from 6 to 7, you've performed fine. Above that is considered a Very good performance in Hons. courses of Social sciences at Delhi University. there are semester exams every 5- 6 months
