Dyal Singh College - Journey of transition

There are certain aspects which influenced my decision to choose this course because I am person who is passionate to learn history and gather insights that's why I choose this course. This course help s to solve the real world application on the basis of the history theories and also helps to compete in the competitive examination. There are certain areas for improvement in my course curriculum as my course is not a professional degree that's why it lacks certain things maybe need just improvement in the aspect of geography as it is a theoretical subject but sometimes faculty make it little bit boring and need little restructure in the teaching style and method. There are two examination in a year and the timing of examination is 6 month each and as I already discussed earlier this examination is basically a moderate level exam anyone can pass the exam with little or moderate effort.

As my course is not the professional degree that's why it lacs little placement but strengths are eligible to set in placement from 5th semester. There are various big companies who visited my college for the placement such as Zomato, swiggy, Deloitte, KPMG, etc and the number of offers they made were not explicitly disclosed by college. The highest package was 36 lakh and average package was 5 lacs and the profile offers were digital marketing, audit, assurance, sales, business associate. There are 50 to 70% students placed from this college. My plans after the graduation is to participate in the competitive examination.

The year wise fees which I paid to the college are around 14000 in Indian rupees which includes tuition fees, caution fees, admission fees, development fees etc. The fees of my batchments who belong from the other categories such as SC, ST are generally same. The name of this scholarship is NSP that is national scholarship portal and amount of scholarship depends upon the family income background of the student.

The name of annual fest is Priyadarshini and it is held in the month of March. Our library offers 3000 + range of books and journals which is easily accessible. There are certain facilities which available in our classrooms such as projector, smart board, ventilation facilities, etc. Our college offers diverse range of a sports and extra curriculum activities such as dance, painting, cricket, badminton etc. societies are generally run by the students and sum of them are President, vice president, etc and having a positive impact on the students life society is helps the students to learn grow and engage in terms of their career and also helps to build resume or CV.

No I didn't apply for any other college and I choose this college over others because this college provides this course this is the first aspect and this college provides the exposure which helps me to build myself for the future. No I didn't get rejection from any college. Basically the admission process through common seat allocation system and the eligibility to do this course is after passing the 12 and the most prefer examination by students is common University entrance test and the cutoff for this courses generally 680 to 700 out of 800 and overall admission experience is quite fantastic.

We have one teacher to 64 students and faculty to student relationship is fantastic faculties are easy to approach and they are always ready to help this student in whatever capacity student want whether in its professional life and personal life and faculties are is easily approachable where they are always ready to help the students. Basically I like the faculty of history because of their teaching style basically my history faculty breakdown the complex things into the similar once and which really helps the students to understand the actual words. The best faculty is the faculty of history and political science. The name of faculty Vijay personally do not like the faculty of geography because of his teaching style is little traditional. There are two examination in a year and it is a moderate level examination at program level students are easily pass and clear the exam without any backlog and the exam is related to our course curriculum which ultimately helps in future perspective.

Our college do not have any Gym facilities but have canteens where good and hygienic foods are cooked and baked we have three floor library and we do not have any specific public area. We do not have hostel facilities and our campus timing is 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.. There are certain famous hangouts places inside an outside our college that is red benches which is inside our college and having Maggi point which is outside our college and we also have locality safe to Roam around at night which is available in the main ground of the college.
