There are mostly proffessor are good and knowledgeable but some are rude . The faculty at my college is a mix of experienced and average teachers. The faculty-to-student ratio is decent (around 1:25–30), so managing classes is not an issue. Most faculty members are approachable and helpful, especially during exams and project work. Some teachers are really supportive and explain concepts clearly, which helps in understanding subjects better. However, a few faculty members rely more on traditional teaching methods and focus mainly on theory rather than practical knowledge. Overall, the faculty-student relationship is good, and you can approach teachers for doubts or guidance. I personally liked some faculty members who were supportive and explained topics in a simple way, especially during labs and viva. I didn’t find any faculty very bad, but some could improve their teaching methods and engagement. Course Structure & Curriculum: The course follows a standard university curriculum. It covers core subjects, but some topics feel a bit outdated and less aligned with current industry needs. So, self-study and extra skill development are important. Exam System & Marking Scheme: There are 2 mid-sem exams called MST1 and MST2 and 1 end-sem (final) exam each semester. Internal marks are based on mid-sems, assignments, and attendance. External marks come from the final university exam. The exams are moderate in difficulty—not very hard if you study properly. Most students pass, but those who don’t study regularly may get backlogs. Overall: Faculty support is decent, exams are manageable, but students need to put extra effort for practical skills and placements.
I would rate the course curriculum around 6.5–7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it covers core subjects of Computer Science like programming, data structures, databases, and AI basics, which are important for building a technical foundation. The curriculum gives a good theoretical base, but it is not fully aligned with current industry requirements. For real-world applications like data science, development, or AI, we need to learn additional tools and skills on our own. Areas for improvement: More focus on practical learning and real-world projects Inclusion of updated technologies and industry tools Better teaching methods (interactive and hands-on learning) Exams & Difficulty Level: There are 2 mid-sem exams and 1 end-sem exam per semester. Exams are moderate in difficulty—easy to clear with regular study, but scoring high requires proper understanding. Overall: The curriculum is decent for basics, but students need to do self-learning and skill development to become industry-ready. I don't like really course structure this most theory based on not focus on practical skills.

The placements is really good. They started our placement training in our 2nd year itself. for the next batches they are starting from first year. They give importance for placements. Many companies visit our college for internships and campus placements. The training is also done by good training institutes like CCC etc. Students are categorised according to their performance in the tests which has aptitude and coding rounds. I myself is a part of Super Dream Batch. There will be a lot of tests but they gradually prepare u for the placements. Highest package last year for arounf 50L per annum and this year its around 41L per annum.
The faculties are very friendly and supportive. They motivate you to do new innitiatives. They are qualified and proffessional. Some of my favourites are V Saranya Ma'am, Prince Mary Ma'am, Jeslin Ma'am. The course curriculum is mostly theorical than practical. I mostly found it easier. We have two exams for internals - CAE1 and CAE2. These are for 50 marks and passing criteria is 50%. For end Semester the paper is for 80 marks. Passing is easy. Scoring is also easy if the student puts efforts.
The course curriculum is according to the latest trends and technology. Subjects they teach are all company friendly. They can drop the some projects as we have mini project for each subject. We have 2 exams one is midterm and other is semester end exam .we also have 2 cca and 2 lca . With one practical exam conducted by the externals
College has various clubs which are divided in three broad categories. One is technical club , other is non tech clubs and labour clubs . Technical clubs include google developer clubs , AWS club , Computer society cosmos . Non tech clubs include dance clubs and labour clubs like accelerators and vegpod hyperloop
I am pursuing BE CSE general course . Currently i m 3rd year . So, basically our education system is like i have three types of subjects Theory , Practical and Hybrid(both theory and practical) . For the theory exmas we have mid semester twice and for the hybrid we have LAB MST once in a semester. and for the hybrid we have 10 assignments per semester and apart from this we have end semester lab exam . This all combines and makes grade .
The total fees of the course per year is 2.4 lac but i got 50% scholarship because of 12th board marks . Now , i have to pay 1.2 lac per year . For the hostel i have to pay 1.2 lac per year its include all facilities like gym , mess , accomdation , campus , lib etc. For my batch 2027 , fees is same 2.4 lac for BE CSE General . but for devops and AIML fees is higher than this .
I paid 350000 Rs. as my initial year fees and 325000 Rs. for the rest of the academic years. It included all the fees such as tution fee, lab fee, Exam fee, etc...,. Addition to that Rs. 100000 for my hostel fee. for the other departments such as Mechanical, ECE, EEE my fellow students of these departments paid maximum of 250000 Rs as the fee, whereas Specializations in Computer Science Departments like AI,Ml,DS,Robotics,AI-DS They all paid the minimum fee of Rs.400000. There is no Scholarship other than only one conducted every year, No govt. sholarships nothing at all. But they offer free seats for those who are really weak in financial status via some foundations which very very appreciated among other colleges upto my knowledge.
The Faculty-student relationship are very healthy and they are responsive and cared like their very own students. The syllabus is well structured like from the basics to the core of their fields, so that everyone can grasp the concepts from the very basic to the advancement of their fields. Syllabus can be improved to the current date industrial requirements or futuristic aspects. The advanced topics are not explained deeply but like given simple glance about it and basic working principles of them. Most of the subjects are easy to clear
So faculties here are the best one . The teachers are yong , skilled , highly trained. We can easily ask or doubts to or faculties during the classes and even after th classes . they are kind in nature , moreover many of our teachers are IITians themselves. And also the student-to-faculty ratio is also fair. The faculty that i like the most is Mr. Rahul .. He teaches s C++/Python basically he's ou backend instructor and he is very interactive in the classroom. And actually all the teachers teaching here are the best , its hard to choose any one out of them. There is no faculty i woud say i hate . All of them are the best. Well every semester there will be three exams Mid-Term-1 , Mid-Term-2(Open Book), Semester end taking about the mid terms they are easy to moderate while end terms are a bit trikcy. and course curriculum changes every 90 days so it sttays relevant throughout.
So basically fee strcture is simple 1 lakh rupees per semester tution fee and 80,000 for my hostel fee .. Initially to confirm or seat we need to pay 20,000/- that is added to the tution fee later and they keep of taking the fee in chnks and as you college days come near one counsellor calls you clears the discussion of money that we have paid this much and are required to may this much more amount . So only for the first semester the fee is 1,27,000/- rupees forttion fee and 90,000/- rupees for hostel the 10,000 /- extra on hostel fee will be returned after 4 years (this is the security fee). So initially during conselling i was told that my 4 years fees would be 12 lakhs buut also if i pay earlier a discount of 1 lakh is given.Than for scholarship in accordance to 12th boards score is also given and so my 4 year fee after scholarship is 8 lakhs i.e. 1 lakh rpee per semester.
the fee structure of the college is moderate compared to other institutions offering similar courses. For my course (BE CSE) the average tuition fees was around Rs. 275000 - Rs. 345000 per year . total cost for the complete course (4 years) comes to approximately 12 lakhs to 16 lakhs for my course for non technical courses total cost for complete course (4 years) comes to approximately 4.5 lakhs to 6 lakhs for students from reserved categories like SC/ST, the fees are comparatively lower due to government regulations, and many of them also benefit from state and central govt scholarships ranging from Rs. 15000 to Rs. 20000
In our college the students to faculty ratio is 1:22. Most of the faculty to student relationship are more friendly adn kind which is very good compare to other college the faculties i like is Mrs. anandhi because she maintains the relationship between the student very friendly I never disliked any of th faculties mostly 4 exams which contains 2 cae , 1 model , 1 semester and the eaxms are little tough and in the class maybe 4 or 5 will not clear most of them will clear the test easily
I chose this course primarily because of the industry demand, but the way the curriculum is handled is a bit of a mixed bag. While the subjects themselves are relevant for real-world applications, the way they are taught often feels outdated. There is a heavy focus on theory, which doesn't always prepare you for the practical challenges you face during internships or in further academic pursuits. If I were to suggest improvements, I’d definitely point toward the course curriculum and teaching methods. We need more hands-on lab sessions and industry-linked projects instead of just lectures. The faculty-to-student ratio of 60:1 makes it hard to get personalized guidance, and the teaching style needs to move away from rote learning. Regarding the exams, we have mid-term assessments followed by the final semester exams. While the frequency is manageable, the timing can be stressful as the schedule is often tight. In my perspective, the difficulty level is moderate, but the real challenge lies in the evaluation. Since some staff members correct papers with a mindset that seems intended to fail students, it makes the whole process feel more like a hurdle to clear rather than a true test of what we've learned.
Our college has a faculty-to-student ratio of 60:1, which often makes the environment feel quite crowded. Generally speaking, the professors aren't very approachable; many of them have a short temper, so you have to be careful when asking questions or seeking extra help. One exception is Kamalesh Sir, who is definitely the best faculty member I’ve had. I liked him because he actually encourages practical learning and real-world application rather than just forcing us to mug up theory from a textbook. As for the faculty I didn’t like, I’d rather not list their names, but the main issue is their rigid teaching style and lack of patience. The exam system consists of mid-terms and finals which are moderately difficult in terms of the questions asked. However, the marking scheme can be frustrating. Some staff members seem to correct papers with the intention of failing students rather than assessing their actual knowledge. While the course curriculum is relatively relevant to the industry, the high pressure and strict evaluation mean a significant number of students struggle to clear their papers on the first attempt.
from my experience, faculty is very supportive and approachable, the student to faculty is ratio is decent, teachers are always open to take doubts even outside thier working hours. Especially i liked kajal mam, garima mam and swati mam, Kajal mam explains concepts very clearly in easy language Garima mam is very interactive in classes to make them ongoing Swati mam is extermely helpfull in every field. exams are held sem wise both inhouse and external internal exams are of 40 marks external marks are of 60 marks
The college follows all the guidelines from NEP, The curriculam is according to GGSIPU and followed accordingly our curriculam includes, subjects like skill enhancement, abilty enhancement, major subjects like HR, FINANCE, MARKETING also INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS tecahers use very infofull ppts to explain concepts, and real life examples sometime we also have fun activities like Group discussions, roleplay, etc
The faculty are very friendly towards the students irrespective of thier marks, they want all students to score well in exams. The faculty are highly experienced teachers which eventually helps students to understand a topic throughly. All the topics that are taught in the class are uploaded in digi campus along with class assignments and attendance of the class. Digicampus helps students to stay updated with the course. The faculty teachers I like are Dr. Joyti sharma, Ms. Kajal chauhan, they make the finance subject very easy to understand. My college conducts exams semester vise which consist of internal and external exams.
My college organizes annual fests: Aloha, and utsarjan the management fests, and also organizes different society's fests to enhance the college life if students and also organizes field visits. My college recently organized a field visit to yakult and motherdairy factories for the management students. My college library have all the books related to all the courses, with vairous authors and subjects. The library have latest book, both of international as well as national authors.
Moglix and Collegeduniya came for hiring interns for HR department with ppo of around 6 lpa and offering stipend of 10 k - 15k. before internship process college offered 15 days live project in which students willing to take operations, sales, marketing as a specialization went to Reliance Mart at various locations, students willing to take finance as a specialization went to cura capital and students willing to take Business Analytics went to IMRB Kantar. This helped alot in knowing whether the we are a good fit for the specialization we are chosing or not. Apart from this our internship will start from the month of May but few students got internship in the month of Fbruary only and they received the ppo as well.
Qualification and experience of professors attracted me. And in Elite batch they are assuring minimum 12lpa package for placement and they give us opportunity to sit in 25 opportunities with minimum package of 12 lpa. Curriculum is entirely case study based and apart from this they organise various club activities as well. They should increase industrial visits for better learning. Difficulty level of exams are moderate to difficult. And here they take exams on laptop, no pen and paper exams which will help us in increasing our typing speed.
For my MCA at Chitkara University, I paid around Rs. 90,000 at the time of admission (this included uniform and initial charges). After that, each semester fee was Rs. 75,000. So, overall, the course cost me close to Rs.3,50,000. I never got a detailed breakdown, it was mostly a combined fee.
Faculty members were okay overall some were really good, others just average. If you ask for help, most of them respond well. Exams were held every semester with internal marks included. The difficulty level was moderate to difficult and most students passed without much trouble.
The fee structure at SRM Institute of science and technology varies depending on the branch and admission category. for my course the approximate yearly tuition ranges between 3.5lacs-4.5lacs. Students admitted through different categories usually pay higher fees compared to those admitted through entrance exam.
The faculty at SRM KTR is quite mixed in terms of quality. Some professors are very Knowlgeable, approachable, and genuinely interested in helping students. Overall, while faculty quality is not completely consistent, there are defintely some very supportive professors.
I have a strong interest in films and documentary so thats why choose this course Here we have internship and workshop that's help us to prepare you for real world We need more student management rather then college management 1st exam are taken after one month of semester start and 2nd onnthe 3 or 4 month
Total tuition fees is 55000 And there is examination fees that also includes bags and extra supplements for college that cost 8000 and there is no scholarship and hostel fees is not included this fees is for mass communication student and the studio and faculties are great
Year wise fees is 70000, not sure it will increase or not. Basically the fees is around 63k including other charges it is 70,000. Our seniors pay 63k including other charges, so year to year fees varies. In this price point the course offers so many things- studio, workshops, internships.
Comapnies like L&T , jan stta lok stta, 70MM , red Fm , mirchi radio . And more companies in which students has done internships and got placements also. Students do field work related to course which unlocks the ability to learn things related to our course
