Internship opportunities in our college are decent. Students usually get internships from the 2nd or 3rd year through college support or self-application. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Zoho, and some startups offer internships in roles such as software developer, web developer, testing, and data analysis. Stipends generally range from ?5,000 to ?15,000 per month, though some internships are unpaid. Students work on projects like web/app development, IoT-based systems, data analysis, and mini-projects related to their core subjects. These internships help in gaining practical knowledge, improving skills, and increasing chances of placement. Overall, internships provide good exposure, but students may need to actively apply on their own to get better opportunities.
Campus life in our college is good and active. Annual and technical festivals are conducted once a year, usually between January and March, which help students showcase their talents. The library has a good collection of books and journals, and students can easily access them for academic use. Classrooms are decent with basic facilities like projectors and labs for practical learning. The college also supports sports and extracurricular activities like cricket, football, and cultural events. There are student clubs and groups that organize events and improve social interaction. Overall, campus life is enjoyable and provides a good balance of academics and activities.

My overall campus life experience has been decent and balanced, with a stronger focus on academics than extracurricular activities The campus has a friendly and disciplined environment Students are generally supportive and cooperative Easy to build good friendships and peer networks
Relationship: Generally friendly and supportive Approachability: Most staff are easy to approach for doubts and guidance Best faculty: Depends on department, but students often like teachers who explain concepts clearly and help in placements/training Not-so-liked faculty: Some may be strict or focus more on theory than practical learning Mix of theory + lab subjects Includes internships, mini-projects, final year project Curriculum is basic and industry-relevant, but students may need extra skills

The faculty to students ratio is 1:18 . The faculties are coordinating, helpful and encouraging. They also ask students the take initiative, motivate then and also praise them. I like teaching style of MR VIPUL MEHTA. He teaches in easy way and make finance easy to understand. Ms Rachana mam is very friendly and approach every students to be involve on studies. Dr Shilpa Wadhwa mam is also very motivational, she always tried that students will get a good content and act upon that. Sachi mam is also very sweet ,treat students in a warmly. I do not like Jyoti mam ,she is in examination department always shouting and arrogant. There are 7 core subjects in first year and 2-3 non credit courses also which are also important but exams are not conducted on that. Exams are moderate level and relevant towards course curriculum.

The faculty here is very good as mentuoned earlier as well they always encourage students to focus on practical of learning rather than learning theories. The computer lab facility is also very helpful as a student of economics we have access to the important tools for data analysis like R.
Very good curriculum- focus on practical approach rather than theories. The relevancy is great for sure. As a students of economics majors I am greatly satisfied with the curriculum here. People with other subjects like Political Science and History are also often offered educational trips

Students generally become eligible for placement in the 4th trimester as they have experienced the live projects and internships, because our college focuses on our placement readiness from day one, with the inclusion of PDP sessions placement-ready sessions and seminars.
All the faculties are highly qualified Experience over 20 years, mostly all the teachers are from IITs NITs MITS and they always worried about the students about their Academics and ready to solve their doubts by taking extra classes. They are available 24 by 7 for students doubt. Exams aur like Two sessionals and then Pre University test by college then the and end semester by aktu.

The year wise fees sums upto ?1,87,000 excluding the other kind of charges. Caution fees, lab fees and other charges might be pressed based on the requirement and the performance of the candidate. The fees is consistent among all my batchmates irrespective of their category. Scholarships which could be availed by all citizens of India are applicable and could be claimed by students based on their merit. No financial aid is being provided apart from scholarships.
The faculty to student ratio might be around 1 : 30. The relationship between the staff and students are mostly in an approachable manner. There are 3 series of mid semester exams and one end semester exams. Most of the students may find it quite hard to clear all the exams. The course is relevant with the current professional environment.
As i said earlier all the education system in the college is very good i this college and i wil also exaplain clearly below Course Types : Only thery Embedded Theory Embedded Lab Embedded Project etc The courses are very well designed to make the student a good engineer Exams we have CAT 1 CAT 2 FAT The exams are conducted very strictly which is good and the marking scheme is a bit complex first we have thoery and lab part each having weightage of 70:30 respectively and again in thoery 15+15 for cat marks each conducted for 50 marks converted to 15 and 40 for FAT conducted for 100 and 30 internal marks total 15+15+40+30=100 for theory and for lab 50 from experiments 50 from lab fat which is reduced to 30 this is the marking scheme The student who prepares well can score good marks the exams are not that difficult, Yes some students fail since it is relatiive grading it is 5-8 students per class i think
Yes the placements are good in my college but for the students who study well , the collge almost have 5k students strength in final years it not possible to give all the students high paying jobs since the companies who pay higher recruit less students , But most of students are being placed but for low packages In the end of 3rd year the placements are started and most important thing is students are categorised by their CGPA so maintaining 9+ Cgpa is very important for high paying jobs There are almost more than 100 companies which visit our college and i dont the exact numbers , The highest package obtained by our college student is 80 lpa
The yearly fee structure of my course at Vimala College Thrissur is approximately 20000 to 30000 per year depending on the course in the first year I paid around 28k which included tuition fees admission fees registration charges and development fees from the second ear the face were slightly reduced to around 20k to 25k per year. Students belonging to Sc or St and other received categories have reduced face and our eligible for government fee concessions. Mini students receive scholarship like a grand merit scholarship the feet structure has seen a slide increase over the years but it is still affordable compared to many private colleges

Campus life is active and enjoyable, with good social interaction among students. The college hosts annual cultural fests and tech fests, usually held between January and March, which encourage participation and showcase talent. The library has a decent collection of books and journals, both academic and general, and is accessible to students for study and research. Classrooms are equipped with basic facilities like projectors and seating, though some upgrades are needed. Sports and extracurricular activities are encouraged, with facilities for games like cricket, football, and indoor sports. There are also student-run clubs and groups for technical, cultural, and social activities, which help in skill development and networking. Overall, campus life offers a balanced mix of academics and activities, though improvements in infrastructure and more active clubs would enhance the experience further.
The exam system has internal tests, tasks, and quizzes held during the term, along with a final end term exam. Internals take place 2 to 3 times each term, which helps in regular review of student progress. The system supports steady learning and helps students stay prepared throughout the term.
There are many events conductded in campus mainly we have Vitopia a Annual event where all cultural , sports events are conducted , and there more than hundred clubs which are always active which is very good for personal development for students , we have projectors in every class and very good lab infrastucture , And in sports i feel bad because for more than 17k students its not possible to play , yes we have very good sports facility but it is not sufficient for the no of students we have
I always had interest in computers so i choose this course ,and i feel the vit curriculum is best compared to other colleges according my friends insights ,we will be having a system called embedded lab which is teaching tools , software in parallel to the theory subject which prepare us for real life applications , we have quiz for internal marks conducted by our tearchers which is easy and we have 3 exams conducted by adminitration which are CAT 1 , CAT 2 , FAT Which are difficult
The college conducts 1 mega Event annually in the month of September. The event is called Ovation which is conducted for two consecutive days (usually Friday and Saturday). This is the biggest and most awaited event in our college where there will be big cinema celebrities, and other great personalities will be visited as chief guest. So the most enjoyable festival in our college is our cultural festival Ovation. Apart from that, there will be many small small Events conducted monthly and one grand Event similar to Ovation is conducted in a year where the performers are from other colleges and we only conduct the Event and recognize the winners. There are more than 1000 books in our library. The library is very big where we can have multiple books in different genres. We also have a digital library inside the library where we can access to the digital books through computers. The students can get wifi facilities but for that, they should get permission from the Administration office with a valid reason. There is a projector which helps the professors to take class with PPT slides. The light facility is available anytime with 5 to 6 fans inside one class itself. The college conducts annual sports day in the month of February every year. In the sports day there are events like running, shot put, hurdles, etc. There also many clubs and social service scheme in our college. There is an Outreach progress for students where the students are required to get reach out to slum areas and help the needy people as a part of their education.
The relationship between the Faculty and the students is a great friendly relationship. There are 10 faculties in one department for 10 classes in a department. Each class has 60 to 70 students and for them there will be one faculty for 1 or 2 subjects. There is no particular faculty I like very much. Each and every faculty is my favourite. Every professors will respect each and every students and treat them like their own sons and daughters and will help them even in their down phases. Similarly there is no professors that I don't like. I like all the professors in my college. Because everyone helped me in my studies, careers, and also in many things they guided me. There are almost 3 exams in one semester. 2 internal examination which is conducted for 50 marks in the mid of the semester. One exam is conducted after 2 months the start of one semester and another internal exam in conducted before one month of start of semester examination. And the last is the Semester Examination which is conducted at the end of the semester usually in December months and May months. Semester exam is for 100 marks and it will be converted to 50... The two internal exam marks of 50 and 50 is added to 100 marks and then converted to 50... Now those semester 50 and combined internal 50 added together to 100 for overall semester exam marks.

AYURVEDA is such an old tradition medicine with being most effective for most of diseases also having least side effects. In today's world where everybody suffering from prolong diseases and not getting cured , Ayurveda is standing tall and curing all such prolonged diseases. The curriculum prepares so well as we just don't study from book but visits clinics and hospital to see the direct implementation of it.
The curriculum is very interesting & it teaches you a lot about the entrepreneurship. Specially in the field of commerce it gives you the right information and exposure to the real world. Subjects like Corporate law , business law , Cost accounting and etc teaches you a lot about practicality.
The commerce department is pretty sorted and the teachers are very skilled. Their way of teaching is very practical and not entirely theoretical based. The level of difficulty of exams is easy to moderate. I didn't find any difficulty while attempting for any paper.
