This is affordable to us...and if we got better marks then u will get a good scholarship and it's easy to study in some good colleges like bits plani and its.
The students are eligible for placement after the 6th semester and various companies like wipro,tcs,amazon,etc visit our campus for placements and we get a good percentage for placements with a good package.
Very good faculty, they professors are very cooperative. they help us in every aspect and they have very good knowledge on that subject.

Dislikes

Placements are very bad in our college. the students are not getting hired by top mcs companies
The paper required for the admission process is not kept securely i thought.
No wifi in the hostel which is a very annoying thing.

Likes

skylab is a amazing place for chill with free wi-fi
Every lab is awesome and enjoyable and intersting
Many faculties are interactive and chilled

Dislikes

Hectic time table schedule for classes and lab
Mess food is tasteless and highly costly

Placement Experience:

Our institute has separate II-CELL for placement with an average package of 5.8 lpa and the highest is 28 lpa. Silicon provides placement in both the IT sector and core field. 83% of students got placed, with 805 job offers.

My Views on Silicon

Likes

Placement, Amenities, hostel life and all.

Dislikes

strict timing attendance policy and strict clasess.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th-semester placement process starts and students must have at least 60% in 10th,12th, and Btech GPA. Companies are Accenture, SAP Labs, Corel, Genpact, incture, and argusoft, apmosys average is around 4-6lpa. 80%placed students.

Likes

The faculties are good and guide student for future.
The campus life is good and the garden is beautiful.
There is cricket ground facility for the students.

Dislikes

The teachers are more focus in the text book learning.
Theer is no swimming pool facility for the students.
There is no Wi-Fi facility for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I am interested in that subject, so, I choose this course. It helps me to start my own business and I do my job in my area of interest. The faculty to students is 1:60. The faculties are well qualified and guide students for the future.

My experience at silicon

Likes

Campus life and crowd is awesome and fests conducted are amazing.
The hostels are best you can get at this price.
The course curriculum is good and industry oriented.

Dislikes

The food is average and repetitive with not good taste.

Placement Experience:

The placements of college are 80%. The highest package offer is 32lpa. Internship opportunities are also offered with stipends ranging from 15k to 30k. The companies vising thein college are Accenture, PWC, sap labs, tata power, etc.

My B-Tech journey

Likes

The campus life is very amazing with number of fests oraganised throughout the year.
The course curriculum is industry oriented.
The hostels are well maintained and well equipped.

Dislikes

No wifi in the hostel which is a very annoying thing.
No night canteen in the college which can be useful during exams.

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college are good with the highest package around 32lpa and the average package around 5lpa. Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester. The various companies that visit the college are Accenture, PWC, sap labs, tata power, etc. Around 85% of students are placed every year with decent packages.

Silicon institute of technology review

Likes

Tech fest, extracurricular events,good canteen food
Kind and helpful faculty, decent library
Resides on a busy area in bbsr, easy transportation facilities

Dislikes

Tough exam conduction, amount of time in preparation is very small
Attendance policy, lack of AC rooms(labs are AC only)
Lack of sports activities, poor infrastructure

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year a student is eligible for placement. 100%placement is there in our college. The highest package was 42 lakhs and the lowest package was 3,50,000 which is impressive. My plan after my degree is to prepare for govt exams

Likes

I loved the way our campus looks it's small and beautiful
We have the college placed on the Patia hills so we get a best of the scenery
We got good places to dine in near the college

Dislikes

As I mentioned earlier my college is small and beautiful so yeah it's SMALL.
Exammmmmmmmmmmmmsssssssssssssssss.......
Results are depressing 😭😭.............

Q.From which semester students become eligible for campus placements? Ans.students gets eligible for campus placements on 3rd year it self companies select the students for there company they like. We have a good percentage of students in getting placements like 60%

Journey At Silicon

Likes

silicon instite has made my life really way more compatible
it has made many dreams come true alike making us know about different new things
this college has many opportunities which one can opt for

Dislikes

faculties could have been really better if they were a bit more understanding towards their fellow students
the infrastructure of the college could hv been better

Placement Experience:

in our college placements start coming when we get into 3rd year that is 6th semester. if some student doesn't get any campus or doesn't sit for any campus then he/she gets opportunities based on his/her skills.

Sky lab.:- It has free wifi connectivity, where you can easily do your job.
Library, it has separate cubes to STUDY silently without any interference.

Dislikes

Examination, it is very strict in silicon.
Transportation, needs to have more AC buses.
Sports complex, it could have been more vast in area.

Students get eligible after their 6th semester. The average package is given 6 lacs per annum and the highest package is 25 lacs per annum. I want to do higher studies after I complete my BTech. Good companies like Infosys, Accenture, and HCl provide good packages. 90% of students are getting placed here.

All about silicon

Likes

The academic rules and regulations, strict exam policies
Class attendance need to be exact or more than 80 percentage
Strict hostel rules and regulations make the hostel free from ragging

Dislikes

The checkin and checkout time limit for students in hostel was very early which is not appropriate for an engineering students
The holidays the college gives is very less which is only 14 days a year
The meal quality needs to be improved certainly

Placement Experience:

This college has 85 to 90 percentage of placement. With more than 50 percentage of students having multiple job offers in their hand. Core and non core companies visit the college. Highest placement last year was 33 lacs per anum and average package was 3.5 lacs per annum
