Timings of the college when it closes at night
N overall compulsory subjects of college
Food of college hostel is so yummm na i cant say anything about that
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course overall is designed in modern pattern of learning. There is no bookish theory happening whole semester. This course helps to do more practical stuff than theory which is pretty good for this side of stream
I liked the culture in the college as there is a lot of people from different part of world so I get to see all kind of different cultures
The campus in the mit wpu is pretty large and is situated in the greens of the Pune and surrounding is so calming and peaceful
As I would be youngest in the campus I feared to be bullied but here people are a lot friendly even senior don’t brother you and they try to be helpful to you in every situation
Dislikes
The package provided by the university is not very appealing the amount of fees I charged and the job provided dosent match the ROI
The campus is so vast that you can get tired easily just by walking in the campus there is no in campus transportation available and going from one place to another would take Atleast 30mim by walking
The classes can get hectic sometimes it feels like you are doing 9-5 from the very young age
Placement Experience:
The placements in my college is pretty good compare to other private colleges as it offers the average package of seven lakh per annum and the fees which are being charged for it would be returned in the span of 3-4years but as per my goals, amount of package provided by the university is not on the mark. But as per background of coding. You can get an increment and very next year. I have seen many people from the university to gain over 20 lakhs per annum increment the very next year of the job.
Class timing is very bad it will conduct 2 pm to 6 pm
Hostel is very poor it is not good for leaving
Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the faculty i had couldnt speak basic english. They would start teaching in Marathi even when some of the students couldnt understand them because they are not maharashtrians.
There was no coordination between teachers about timings or anything. Would lead to lot of confusion. They would blame the students for this.
The parking is a big issue. When they built a new underground parking space but this wasnt usefull as they got rid of other parking spots. So didnt solve anything
Course Curriculum Overview:
I had an intership where i heard one of the higher ups saying the students in mit have no knowledge ir awareness about the topic. This should sum it up. Many topics were relavant but companies require a lot more and mit doesnt provide this. However i have a friend whose studying in a different department and i heard their teachers are smart and aware. So this might only be department of computer science's issue.
1) the first thing i liked about MIT-WPU is the opportunity to earn while learning, this college lets you work after college as long as you want to earn a pocket money which helps the students to be financially independent
2)the diversity of the courses and the extra curricular activities- mit-wpu offers us 2 yoga session every week which is really helpful for students and other events to keep the students active and engaged
3)the faculty and the crowd- ill really appreciate the faculty and the students of MIT-WPU, they are really supportive and friendly to you and will give their best to make your queries clear
Dislikes
1)compact college- MIT-WPU being 75acres in size feels really conjusted to me as there are many students and theres a road block out of the univerity by vehicles of students
2)placements- MIT-WPU being a renowned college doesnt have a high avg placement compared to other colleges
3)extra events-there are many events being held which makes be overloaded with work with academics
Placement Experience:
1) students become eligible for campus placements on their last year of the course
2)there are many huge companies which visited MIT-WPU and offering more than 50 spaces, companies like google, infosys, syska etc
2) the average package recieved by students of MIT-WPU is greatly varied on their course it can range from3lakhs upto 10-11 lakhs and the highest package of MIT-WPU was around 45lakhs
3)At MIT-WPU due to the large number of students not everyone gets placements but almost most of them that is 75-80% students gets placed based on their CGPA
4) my plans would be continuing with my studies and doing MBA
The faculties are all Phd holders with years of experience.
The whole campus is lush green and is always kept clean.
Lots of clubs to join and learn various things and skills.
Dislikes
Parking management is not that great in the campus.
There is always construction going on in the campus.
Placement Experience:
The placements here are great as compared to any other college. Plus over here they give trainings on how to attend an interview. TCS wipro tech mahindra are among the very few companies that visited. Over 90% are placed during the placements.
Infrastructure: MIT-WPU offers a huge and useful infrastructure in the campus. There are thousands of books in the library.
Exchange programs: The university offers study abroad exchange programs in which interested students can apply for and avail benefits of studying in abroad
Connections: MIT-WPU offers multiple programs which attracts students from all over the nation which can be useful for building connections.
Dislikes
Attendance criteria: The university requires a minimum Attendance of 80% which can be very difficult for students to fulfill.
Transportation facilities: The hostel is very far from the campus making it difficult for students to travel from hostel to campus and vice versa. Also the campus is very big which makes moving from one place to another very tiring.
High fees: The university charges high fees and apart from it, they don't provide high class facilities. There are no air conditioned rooms and no comfortable benches to sit.
Placement Experience:
MIT WPU offers on campus placements to its students. Students are eligible for placements from their final year. Reputed companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Wipro, and more hire students from MIT WPU every year. The highest package for BBA is 12 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA. Most students are able to secure placements and many of them get good packages.
There are lot of clubs which participates in national level competitions and that gives student experience of working in industry and practical knowledge.
Faculties are supportive towards publishing your own research papers and different ideas.
Campus has students from many parts of India which gives a nice environment for students.
Dislikes
There are many fests but not good as expected
Girls to boys ratio in branch like mechanical and civil is not good
Attendance policy is unnecessarily strict. It have 80% attendance.
Placement Experience:
At the 3rd year students become eligible for placements and internships, placement is decent however last year average package in btech has been dropped as i think it's because of more no. Of students intake in btech cse over last few years. My plan is to do masters after btech so I won't chose for placements
The crowd of the college is quite nice. Children here are smart and well mannered. My Social Interaction has developed a lot in this college.
The Faculty is Quite nice. All the faculties are expert of their field. Majority of them are P.H.D holders and know very well how to pass knowledge perfectly.
The college has tie up with some universities in foreign and its alumni gets a lot of help and preference in doing Masters or P.H.D there.
Dislikes
The canteen facility is not well maintained. Students get quite late for classes as there is heavy queue in canteen.
The attendance policy is not good. The students should be allowed atleast 65% attendance rather it is 80%. Also The medical certificates are not allowed in it.
Placement Experience:
from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships.
Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college
The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa.
Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements.
The average package is 6lpa.
Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year.
After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.
