The infrastructure of the college is really nice and it is a really big campus with different buildings for different courses. The area outside the campus is also very nice, like you can get stationary and food items just outside the college.
Some of the faculty is nice while some are complete idiots.
Dislikes
There is no facility for any sports except for a basketball court.
Some of the faculty are not at all understanding and it will seem like they want you to fail.
Placement Experience:
I don't have much idea about the placements but as far as I remember the placements are pretty good. The average placement is around 600000. I think the percentage of students getting placements is not that high.
The faculties here are well versed in what they teach.
Faculties are very helping and help us with projects as well as thesis papers.
The infrastructure and buildings are well maintained.
Dislikes
The girls to boys ratio is low as is the case in most engineering colleges
The curriculum is more theoretical but it's the subjects that are necessary so as to develop our core knowledge so it's a 50-50 thing.
Placement Experience:
Students can apply for placement in the last semester. But internship opportunities can be accessed from the 3rd yr i.e. 6th semester. Companies like IBM, HCL, Michelin India, Infosys,ONGC, Axis Bank, Times Group visit the campus for placements. Google, microsoft, Amazon have also visited the campus for placements. overall placement percentage is 80%.
Really good campus, the infrastructure is always developing
Teachers are really good and friendly, and arw helpful
The syllabus selected for the courses is according to market standards
Dislikes
Attendance criteria is 80% which is hard to maintain
The college timings are too early 8:30 in the morning
The college fees is too high than required
Placement Experience:
College provides placement and also conducts placement camps where you've taught on how to crack a good job, also it focuses on skills you need to work in professional environment, other than that it also jas tie-ups with international Universitys if you don't crack a job so you can opt for higher education.
College has good infrastructure and well equipped labs
College has really strict policies on ragging and i have not faced any ragging as of now . Seniors are also helpful
Vibe of the college is good as good students came here to study from good households
Dislikes
I sometimes feel like an outsider as there very few students who came from outside of Maharashtra mostly locals are here
There is strict 80% attendance policy which is hard to fullfill
Some teachers are supportive but most of the professors are egoistic and rude
Placement Experience:
After 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements many companies visit my college like ongc shell Schlumberger etc college has committed 100% placement for btech petroleum branch but i have heard this year it was around 70% after getting the degree i want to complete my masters and then apply for job the highest package for petroleum engineering is around 25lakhs and average is around 10 lakhs
my college took us to this field trip in a village near Karnataka
It offers a lot of extra curricular like drama clubs
All lot of exposure when it comes to multiple companies
Dislikes
Does not have good parking space for the students
The faculty is very And helping there is a lot of confusion amongst all the departments
The timings are not quite comfortable for a lot of students who travel from
Course Curriculum Overview:
the curriculum is quite decent as well. We have two semesters per year and about seven subjects which includes yoga as well. The curriculum is quite decent, but some of the faculty members are not able to reach to all the student
80% attendance is required which I thing they can be a bit lenient on
Placement Experience:
The students get eligible for placement when the 4th year starts, i.e, 7th sem. Almost all the big companies come here for placement drives and thr highest from our college is around 40 Lpa. And I would probably go for masters after the degree.
I liked the crowd of the clg as its a little expensive everyone is decent and good looking
Teachers come on time during classes and are ready to solve all the doubts
Washrooms are clean and even classrooms labs are clean
Dislikes
Workload and too much pressure there are alot of assignments given
Few teachers lower are confidence but behaving rude
Lift system and overall management is very poor
Course Curriculum Overview:
Timings are very nice 9:30 to 4:30...beautiful classrooms and punctuality of teachers
Teachers usually criticize our work to motivate us to do better and unleash our potential ..clg can ask teachers to be polite only one that is rashmika.
No exams yet ..but the submission are very hectic
Students are modern and cool. Also quite friendly and no complain over their behaviour
Campus is very big and has all the availability of rooms halls attraction points etc.which is a good thing
Dislikes
I didn't like the faculty much, all aren't very friendly and engaging also they do not teach properly
Interactions with students is less because no one is looking for friends and it's all devided into groups
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course mainly for going in the film industry but the subjects in course haven't started a yet. Subjects with camera handling and performance are still left to start. Also there's alot of assignment pressure and course is a bit confusing for now.
According to me Mit wpu has one of the best infrastructure
The faculties and the professors are good and the way of teaching is brilliant
The girls is to boys ratio in our college would be 40:60
Dislikes
I disliked classrooms of some buildings because they lacked the college campus feel
Secondly i would love if the placements would be increased and improved a little bit more
I dont anymore such things but yes the culture should be slightly improved like improvising strict rules
Placement Experience:
After completion of 2nd sem the students are eligible for company placements. The highest placement was of 40 lpa and the average placement are around 6-7 lpa. In mit-wpu around 60-70 get placements . My aim or plans after degree is to take work experience for 2 years and then settle into family business
The major quality of MIT WPU is the crowd and exposure towards the world , with international programs and international students . Also students from our whole country are gathered in one campus which enhances our experience.
Events like Bhartiya Chhatra Sansad , National legislators council make the experience unmatched to other universities as global leaders , achievers , motivators are gathered up to guide students towards success
There are 3 trips which include Rural immersion program , National immersion trip , International trip . Through these 3 trips a student gets a glance of all elements of our society from rural to urban level .
Dislikes
The heavy competition to get admitted in this college at times takes a toll on the aspirant and can lead to demotivation if desirable course is not achieved by the student .
If u do not get the opportunity to be admitted in the college hostel you might have to start finding flats nearby the college which are expensive due to heavy demand
Placement Experience:
The placements of this college are pretty good compared to other ones as national and international companies gathere for recruitment .
Construction companies like L&T , Shapoorji Pallonji , TATA recruit civil students with good packages ranging from 8 - 15 lakhs .
And around 90% students get placed in campus if they apply .
