The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities
The courses are very good as they probide a vast selection of them.

Dislikes

There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

Play cricket at Free time when I didn't have work

I hate Ice cream Because I don't like it
And I Dont like selfish people's who didn't help anyone

I want to Become CA that's why I choose this profession the real world application shows me very liked person In teaching always speak in Hindi or English some people don't know local language 4 hours exam is there Too much Time taking

First of all I liked the college faculty
Second I liked the teaching that the teachers teaches us
Regular classes are held and every teachers, student's, seniors are helpful

Dislikes

Some inappropriate subjects that I think is not required much

Time flies faster

Likes

It have a appreciable infrastructure and teaching staff but it doesn't carry a reliable amount of staff.
The campus shows to keep the respective area clean but it doesn't have any proper system of seating in the off periods
It have proper and qualified teachers but it doesn't carry sufficient amount of teaching staff

Dislikes

It doesn't allow to use any of the technical aspects
Poor administrative which causes caos during admission or any other events
The campus is not much sufficient for the students it have

The curriculum of the course is too brilliant among many other colleges but it need to be more aspects towards the students. Smart class to be used to teach different new topics and lessons.The timing of examination is good to just.

Student and Professer are friendly and ready to help you any time you need
Students get the opportunity for sports related events such as youth festival Khalo India
Gives importance to cultural events and have organised many events for students

Dislikes

College campus is not hygienic. Toilet are not clean
Office staff have next level of ego they will ignore you Asif we're slave
College hostel is like a haunted house and mess food is like pig feed

I have taken this course thinking it will help in my future academic pursuits I want to do and I think it's going well till now. I think they should change faculty of my department which is the best way to improve teaching methods or they should trained them so they can explain the students what they want to

Gauhati University- The land of academics and tourism

The Gauhati University campus offers a peaceful and ideal environment for learning.
Gauhati University has many teaching staff who are experts in their respective subjects and also share a positive relationship with the students.
Gauhati University offers different facilities for the students such as free bus, clean drinking water, chilled water for summers, projectors for smooth learning, etc.

Dislikes

The campus of Gauhati University is often neglected and I beleive the campus has much more potential than how it is now.
The students of integrated courses are often neglected and are not included in many important events such as elections.
It often publishes exam schedule late which creates tension among students near exam days.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I choosed this course in Gauhati University is because the faculty members of the Department of Sociology really catched my interest. They were very sweet from the day of admission up until now. Also the teachers teaches us in a way which not only helps us to ace our exams but also to use those knowledge in our everyday lives.

The college have a student friendly environment
The teachers are awesome and well designated
The discipline of the college is outmost

Dislikes

The college campus is too small no place for playground
The teachers are awesome but except a few who seem frustrated on asking any question
The parking for students is average overall

The exams are moderately difficult the curriculum they provide is latest as per NEP which is FYUGP. The course consists of number of unwanted subjects rather than in CBCS course it was great to crack if possible on early.

Campus of my University

Likes

My Institute is located in a natural habitat and in a environment of nature.
My Institute is spread over 508 acres . I provided us a large and beautiful campus
All the necessary things are available in our Institute campus

Dislikes

Our Institute should improve the medical facilities
Number of hostels should be increased because maximum students don't get hostel.
Some of the departments are very small . The number of classes should be increased

I think the course curriculum is very relevant because i provide us every aspect of knowledge and also gives us practical knowledge of our subject. Some of the Phd scholars also come to take classes they also provide us valuable information and knowledge.

My life in Gauhati University

Likes

I like the campus and classroom . I love the way the professor has created a well structured syllabus for us .
I love the friends there, they are supportive and very very much helpful
I like the Greenery there , the campus is itself very refreshing

Dislikes

I don't like that fact that we are neglected something being the ug
I don't like that we are not alloted hostels
I don't like that we are not given any opportunity of our own like ugsu

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was greatly influenced by my previous professor this is why I was greatly inclined towards this course. Taking up sociology I have took a different perspectives of understanding the society . I think I can better understand the working of the people by taking up this course . Exams difficulty level will be high obviously but we are the students and we have to couple up with this.

All about dispur college

Likes

Teachers are good and friendly in nature and easier to approach for help.
Class rooms are great, clean, spacious and equipped with smartboards
The computer lab is large and can accomodate 60 students

Dislikes

Teachers are friendly but not regular and punchual in their work.
The college is not very serious regarding its students placements and career
Thhe college always wants a student to participate in nonsense things, even if they don't want to

I personally choosed these field because of obession with technology and innovations and wanted to g in the computer field. Teaschers need to be regular and start to give their inputs more than just coming and sitting in the class

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.

Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.

Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.

Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.

Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.

The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
