The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities
The courses are very good as they probide a vast selection of them.

Dislikes

There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

My bad Experiences in the College

Likes

There is nothing to like about. I regrade that I went to study there

Dislikes

Everything, professors are not giving any importance to their students.
Security Guards are very rude and speak very impolitely
Professors doesn't care about your career or future. they only know money.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Not a very good experience with the course structure. The course is very outdated. they even included history, environment studies, etc as subjects in the BCA course, which is very irrelevant. Even the notes, teachings and the curriculums are outdated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses that we get to learn in my college are good. The faculty members not only teach us about the book knowledge but also the teach us other activities. Sports curricular activities are also there in my college.

Satisfied with the course but there is scope for a lot of improvement.

Likes

Teachers were good and helpful however they can be a little understanding. The infrastructure of our department was very well maintained, we had a kitchen, clean bathrooms and free wifi in the library alongwith AC.
Our course was relevant but not very well known hence the number of students was very less.
Hostel food was okay and security was good.

Dislikes

My batchmates, they were atrocious. They made me feel like an outsider where as they are the ones who stay out of Guwahati
Campus life wasn't that great, we had too many events and functions but they were mostly held at night.
There should be separate competitions for different departments.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I thought that I will be able to improve my English skills hence I joined this course. We had first hand experience about a lot of things however our course teaches us that lecture method doesn't work well but we were taught through the lecture method only in some classes. Teaching methods need to be more practical, they were fun but they can be improved. Timings for exams were convinient, we were given 4 hours to write our exams.

The review of my lovely college

Likes

College is very well maintain everyone respect each other there are no such thing as raging etc.
Faculty is well experience demented ships perfect for the students.
My development has been improve so far by this past 2 years.

Dislikes

The size of the campus is well too small to be called a well non college in Guwahati.
The location is in a commercial area which is a slight problem for concentration in our classes
Sometimes faculties overdo because they think they have reached high position.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well for my dream I like the course while too much and it in it influence are quite good on people at our village and the surrounding areas. After I pass out from my school many junior students have admitted in this college, well it is an well known college that's why everybody trust the course and curriculum of the collage. The frequency of examination is around 3 month and the difficulty goes to is how much you have prepared for the exam.

Our college campus is very beautiful and eye catching.
Our administrative is very cooperative and helpful
Our library is very neat and clean along with the college.

Dislikes

I don't like some of the teachers behaviour.
I don't like routine structure of our college.
I don't like the timing of our college as we have to study.

I am the student of BBEC 3d sem in civil engineering department and our cource is very vast which is difficult for us to complete by the given time as we get only 3 to 4 months to study so it becomes difficult.

Likes

The environment and the surrounding is quite calm and peaceful.
The lecturers are good in a sense like the way they teach us.
The classroom and the library are facilities are good.

Dislikes

In our college the sports facilities are poor.
The events conducted are not upto the expectation.
Our college don't provide any placement for the students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college offer 12 courses that is 12 departments of which I opted for mathematics because I'm more interested in practical rather than thoery papers. The teaching method is handwitten not computer basis. The exams duration is of 3hrs and the question level is moderate.

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.

Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.

Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.

Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.

Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.

The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
