The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities
The courses are very good as they probide a vast selection of them.

Dislikes

There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

One can choose our college for the events they organise

Likes

I liked the college library because it has many collections of book
I liked the view from the college terrace
I liked the college campus because it enhances the beauty scenary

Dislikes

I don't like the college auditorium because of less seat capacity
Food facility of the college canteen is very pathetic
Frequent cut of electric power supply creates a major problem

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course seems to be quite attractive but due to the non - availablity of the facility needed it becomes a tough course for the students thereby making it an unattractive course for the public audience.

Likes

The teachers of Kokrajhar govt. College are very good and friendly with students .ith su
The college library has available books for required semester.
The compound of the college is very neat and clean.

Dislikes

The toilet facilities are not good enough.
Lack of play ground for conducting sports.
There is a Lack of digital classrooms in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty member conducts class test at least twice in a month. Gives us an assignment for each subject . Also conducts sessional test per semester and all the questions based on the notes which they provided us. Also conducts final exam after evry six months.

Our one semester is of 6 months but we get only 3 months to study which is very difficult for us to understand as well to get good marks in exam, we need to go through online help for us to study.it is very difficult .

One can take admission in this college for getting a quality Education as our faculties are well experienced.

I like the college environment and the Greenery

I don't like the frequent cut off the electricity
The college authority can improve the cleanliness
Toilet and water facilities have to be improved

A semester consists of six months.. But we noticed that exam are held before the complition of six months.As we have to face problems in completing our course.. The teachers lastly teach the main topics but if any out topic comes in exam the students had to face difficulties in solving it.

Likes

The bus facilites are provided for students who commute from remote places daily.
The overall experience is good with most of the facilities provided like library,wifi,backup generator for laboratories
Quality of the infrastrure is good as far as concerned.

Dislikes

Teaching methods could be a litle bit better.
The college should provide more buses for students, as there is very few.
Course curriculum can be updated every few intervals.

The course curriculum was very helpful for learning step by step about the major we are pursuing,its comprehensiveness is easy to get.The curriculum is exactly bazed on real world scenarios but helps us get an idea of how it will be. One thing that could be improved is introducing more hands on experiments for the students. The timings of exams are well coordinated and its fair for everyone.

The library hall of our college are perfect for students
All authors book are available with each department subjects
The outdoor structure are pretty good enough

Dislikes

Setup of drinking water is not working properly
College are is very poor with low connection to transport
No wifi connection to college outdoor and library

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.

Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.

Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.

Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.

Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.

The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
