DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I believe there are some bads but overall it's a good college with plenty of activities and opportunities for anyone and the one basic thing is good reputation which also helps in future studies and securing jobs elsewhere.

Very Good college for students who wants to do something good in their life. Many alumni from this college who are at good position , at big company and also a actor, some in google some in paytm, Zomato, uber and many more.

It is a very good institute in terms of palcements , job opportunities , academics , college life and freedom of students. If you wabt a successful life and also wants to enjoy 4 years of engineering come to this place i guarantee you will enjoy here. DTU needs to improve in terms of research and entrepreneurship to encourage its students in these fields as their are many future oriented opportunities.

It's a good college and gives you a good exposure. It offers good placements. The college is well known across the country. Being in the capital city , one can grab the opportunity to intern in various start ups and companies.

Lot of positive I discussed above. Some negative which I feel first every student can't get hostel due to large number of students. Second some faculty are really intorable. And monkeys which is not negative remarks.

Get a good rank in JEE Mains and then fill form for JAC counseling and if you are lucky you will surely get admission. It's not that too hard. Pay fees for JAC counseling and then select your preferred branch and wait for cut off.

Pros - big well maintained campus, alumni network, industry reputation, Cons- large intake of students, faculty, fees, slightly overrated If you are delhiite than 85% seats are reserved for you and this college is worth going for but if you are an outside Delhi candidate than Dtu is not worth the efforts that you have put in

Once upon a time DTU was awarded as ASIA's best for mechanical engineering. Earlier every DTUite was having min. 2 offers of placement but due to inc. In no. of students placement ratio has declined. Apart from that DTU is somehow succesful in retaining its position

It's like a mixed bag, but you can deal with all the problems and this college will make you able to face the world ahead. It will make you ready not to give up and face anything that comes. It's quite a big campus of 168 acres while you may forget the paths in first week or so but then you'll get acquainted with everything.

I just wish some teachers could be replaced and the hostels can be made available to Delhites too, as of now only outside Delhi students can avail hostel facilities. Also the canteen is really good but can be made better.
