DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The course curriculum is great, the topics and material which is taught is very knowledgeable but I think the college lacks practicality and only provides textbook knowledge. The timing of the exams is fine but a little more practical knowledge should be provided.

The placement for dtu usme average is around 8 lakhs and the jobs are offered from 3rd year. There are internship opportunities also provided from 2nd year and they pay great importance to it. The highest package is 19 lakhs

Our campus placements starts in the third year and even though it's a four year course but we can apply from third. JP Morgan Chase, Dabur, Hero Group and likewise many other groups come at DTU who are long date partners with DTU for placements.

There's a placement program run for almost a month in our university. All the students are asked to attend that workshop and from skill building to communicating skills all are taught. So, once the students are in 3rd they are asked to appear for the interview and most students of our university do crack them with ease.

Placements are quite good as compared to other government colleges all big MNC like google , microsoft hires on campus and also avg package pf clg is quite good , so overall placements are good even core branches also have avg package of 10 LPA

My plans are to go for a higher degree in MBA or Masters from abroad as our university has tie-ups with them and they support us with that. Placements wise top DTU is above DU colleges and we have enough mettle and resources to find jobs of our choice.

From top consulting groups like Boston Consulting Group to Bain & Co all of them come to our college for placements. Nearly 90% of students from BBA and Economics (Hons) are placed as DTU provides on and average 5-7 lakhs placements to its students.

You name a sector and you will find that making its way in DTU. From finance the top company JP Morgan comes here, from pain sector but Asian Paints and Berger Paints are here from IT sector, TCS and Infosys are here. Hence, if one needs to work in best of companies of any sector, I think only DTU can help them get there.

The curriculum is average according to 1st sem in ece 1st sem I got basic electrical electronics workshops applied mathematics applied chemistry and co programing all branches (from Computer Science to Civil) study the same first-year subjects, including Engineering Drawing, Physics, and Chemistry. Students often suggest introducing branch-specific core subjects earlier (in the 1st semester) to build interest and foundational skills sooner. Timing of exam in mid sem is 1.5hours and in end sem is 3 hours
