DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placement opportunities are good, but you really need to fight for it because the number of students inside the college is high, but if you work hard, you can get a pretty good placement companies come for internships in the third year and placements in the fourth year all the famous companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft et cetera, come to the college Highest package in 2024 was 1.2 CR percentage of students getting placed around 80%. I also plan to sit in the placements and get a good placement after the degree

The placements are decent but not the best Placement percentage for mechanical is almost 60% Highest Package was 21 Lakhs and overall was 64 My plans are to probably pursue Mtech for germany and step into in the automotive industry

After 6th semester we get eligible for the placements.i don't know about the placements senerios but I have heard that apple,google, microsoft,etc big MNCs come for taking interviews and give the offers.highest package and average package is about 97lpa and 15lpa respectively how much I have heard.about 50% gets placed according to my knowledge.my plans is to word as a techies after the college

From the 5th semester you get internship opportunities companies come on campus and good companies are there the only thing is only the upper branches people get interns on campus all other have to go off campus and regarding the placement it starts 7th semester onwards and most of the people get placed even the lower branches have around 50% placement ratio and top branches having more than 80%

For becoming eligible for campus placements, you need to pass atleast 6 semesters. After the sixth semester, the companies start coming to the college and recruit students. The internship opportunities though start from the 5th semester itself Top companies like google, microsoft, amazon etc visit the college and recruit students with a really top notch salaries. These big companies generally give 30lpa -50lpa salareis to the students , but you have to be very skilled . The students need to work hard to get these jobs the highest package offered this year was 85 lpa and lowest package was 4 lpa the percentage of studnets getting placed is quite amazing in thsi college. 75-80 % students get a placement with some really good paying jobs if any student does not apply for campus placement, or does not on campus placement, then the offcmapus base is also strong. there are alumni spread in different parts of the country and even world. Also the brand value of this college is so great that there would be no difficulty in getting placement

placements are not that good compared to what it used to be in last few years. companies such as google microsoft apple zomato etc come here to recruit students with good packages. highest this year was 81 lakh and avg was 16 lakh for IT and around 18lakh for SE.

The curriculum is overall well structured and is mostly relevant but lacks some of the things like modern day workshops and real world applications but it is improvind and DTU has taken many innitiatives recently.

DTU has one of the best placements records among engineering colleges.Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester.Top companies like google microsoft ,qualcomm,airtel visit the college every year with many offers.the highedt package often go above 1 cr for cs/it while the average package around all other branches stay around 12-15 lakhs

The placements of the college is its strong point. A lot of the students get placed at least somewhere in CSE especially. Google is the company a lot of the people get placed in. Highest package is around 2 Cr per annum and Average is around 12-20 Lacs per annum. Percentage of students that get placements is about 90%. There are a lot of internships options here and I know some students that have joined internships from the first year. My plans after getting a degree is to find a nice and comfortable job where I can balance my work and life and work hard there for good money.

Placement of DTU are really decent considering the current job market. For electric branch, the average package is 12 lakhs, while the highest package this year was 48 lakhs, and still the offers are still coming in. Now for the eligibility, all the students of the branch are eligible to sit for placement. There is no CG criteria, unlike other NITs or IITs, which makes the percentage placed students less compared to other colleges. As for me i plan to join a core company and further purse my interest in electronics
