My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

IITD At a glance

Likes

Acedemic is very awesome and helpful to students
Sports facilities are very great here in iitd
Iitd is just has good placement even for masters student

Dislikes

There is so much load on the students due to exam pattern
There is need to improve during research
There is need to increase the hostel facility

The water resource course is so much relevant towards the current scenario and planning of the govt in India and there is opportunity for PhD students to explore the various opportunities in core technical field

Likes

campus provide good exposer for sportes and activities
internet fecillity campus ia fully wifi enabled have wifi in every biulding of campus

Dislikes

academics are pain point of most of iit delhi students
you get bored from mess food so this is one of thing i don't like
class scheduleyou might find hectic sometimes you will have classes whole day with only 1 hour brake for lunch

Placement Experience:

4th year students are eligible to sit in campus placements. some students get their ppo during their internship session in 3rd year. many companies visit campus such as Samsung Microsoft google Vedanta l & t etc. several companies provide average package of 25lpa 80% of students will get placed in campus placement among those who were eligible

My review about IIT Delhi

Likes

Cultural festivals and sports festivals. Diverse environment and rich cultural atmosphere. Good academic standard and best faculty members. Food here is also very good and nutritious. Students are well mannered and intelligent

Placement Experience:

Placement are very good in iits. It is a normal here that almost every student here can get placements according to their academics. Some student gets very high packages, some students also get relatively low packages. Foreign companies comes in IIT every year and provide great opportunities.

IIT in reality

Likes

Campus is quite green and it is well connected to Delhi metro and it is in mid city so transportation is good
Food is also great and college have many hostels in which one can have food while paying a nominal fees also there are many other hotel and small dhaba inside the campus serving tasty food
Library is quite big and have many relevant books

Dislikes

Time management- we get little time for other activity. We have more work load
Grading system can be improved . Students should be given more options
Security is everywhere making it irritating to show ID card every now and then

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Placement season begins from the first December and maximum students get placed by 10 of December. A wide variety of companies visit the college both core and non core. Overall package of non core companies are higher even reaching crore lpa and core companies packages are relatively lower.

CBME in IIT Delhi is a good department for those willing to explore the biomedical field

Some faculty are really helpful and are good teachers
The course prepares you well for the outside world
The campus is always bustling with one activity or the other

Dislikes

The environment here sometimes feels very competitive
The faculty might be toxic and less willing to understand students problems
The exam scheduled are very hectic with continuous exams

Placement Experience:

Masters students become eligible for placement in the second year but are not eligible for internship placements. The average placement package of around 11 lpa but it's mostly non core and companies either tech or non tech

Great education, and project work. Practical base learning
Extra carricular activities, involvement in various activities
Good placement, Alumni connections, helpful environment

Dislikes

No hostel accomodation during the first semester
Some professors are rude, suicide is increasing
Delhi environment, very polluted city. It has nothing to do with collage but worth mentioning.

Placement Experience:

Being one of the top institute of the nation, it offers very good placement but given the scenario of recession in the tech industry there is some slow down in the hiring in placement too. if I am not able to get the placement at the end of the course then I think I won't face any difficulty getting placement on my own but let's see what happens.

Likes

Helpful atmosphere. Good learning experience.
Many extra curricular activities to take part
Facilities and infrastructure are state of the art

Dislikes

Sometimes too much of work load to be managed
The number of suicides is increasing nowadays
Fee structure is a bit higher than other IITs

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well written and industry oriented. It is based on the rising need of Robotics and AI in India. The curriculum is well planned and will help to gain a lot of knowledge in Mechanics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Mathematics and Electronics.

Campus environment, teacher's nature, classroom , supportive nature of other employees.
Campus environment, freedom to students to do something innovative.
IIT get a lot of financial support from govt so it has world class infrastructure

Dislikes

Sometimes it becomes hectic when they schedule two exam in a day
I think there is a need of hike in stipend
Cgpa criteria for stipend which is around 7

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of this course is good. Professors are supportive in nature. And one year is for project which help to learn new skills and enhance the previous one help to survive in real world. But in that one year there are some subjects which we have to study but it should not be there it should be completely dedicated to project work. Overall this is a very good course which help to train a student to learn technical part of chemistry or polymers. And there are a lot of scope in this field.

The course workload is heavier, so it would prepare you for real-world work. Courses can be chosen from 2nd semester, so you are free to select courses of your likeness. There would be a minor exam and a major exam and a lot of assignments.

All about iit delhi

Likes

The campus of iit delhi are quite descent which i like. It is in the middle of delhi so you can go wherever you want
Average package of iit delhi fascinate students.
Sport and tech culture are quite good of iit delhi

Dislikes

The courses and their rigidness is the thing which i dislike most
The internal politics happen in hostel is one which i dislike
The single room is not given for 3 years.

Placement Experience:

iit give the best placement across all the engineering colleges. The highest package of iit delhi offered to a student is 3-4 crore and the averaged package is 15 lakhs. Mostly 70% of the student get selected for the job who applied for the job

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season.
