- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
- 75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

- Campus cleanliness, students are not allowed to use smoke emitting vehicle . Everyone has to use bicycle.
- The environment in the campus is much cleaner as compared to Delhi.
- The hostel facility and the sports facilities available.
Dislikes
- The campus is too big to commute. It tiring to travel aa the day.
- Course structure is much tough. Ot's hard to get good CGPA
- Prof are very less available to students. There is no way to clear your doubt you have to do all on your own.

Placement Experience:
6th-semester students get pre-placement offerings and 8th semester get campus placement offerings.
Some companies visiting's campus are Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Uber, Paytm, etc.
Most of the people get placed, as per the record, the placement percentage is almost 90% of the students sitting in the placement process.
Getting a good and respectable package in some stable company background.

- Library is of high quality one can easily study there
- Knowledge and learnings that you got from your friends

- 8 a.m classes, in 1st sem. Our classes starts at 8.am for all the days
- There are many things made in china used by iitdhospital staff, even a b.p measuring device
- Workshop building infrastructure, it is old and not upto to world class

Students become eligible from their 7th sm. I think
Many companies visit like Microsoft, Google, quant box, and Boston grp. etc
The highest was 4cr and the average was 16lakhs.
No clue about it, it is variable in every branch
To get a good placement.

- Campus life at IITD is something which anybody would love to experience.
- Unlike most colleges there are no restrictions for girls, everyone are treated equal and are given equal importance
- Existence of various clubs, like technical, cultural, sports etc.
Dislikes
- South Indian food is never available in mess
- Most Saturdays are declared as working days because of any holiday in weekdays
- 2 or 3 exams are conducted on same day (during minors)
Placement Experience:
There are a lot of companies which offer job opportunities in our college. the circuital branches are more benefitted from these.
according to the data available, the highest annual package was 2.5cr, and the average package is 12lpa.

- Unnecessarily competing with your peers because the society makes uou do so.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are really good at IIT Delhi. A CGPA cutoff is laid out by companies and students who meet that are interviewed before getting the placement.
Tech and software jobs are preferred by the students over the core jobs of their own department but that's not the norm.

- I loved the people mostly. Everyone here is so kind, be it friends or teachers or seniors.
- The fests and fresher's party that was held both department wise and hostel wise.
- The places to hang out in the campus are great.
Dislikes
- There is no cafeteria in the lecture hall complex.
- There are a lot of stray dogs in the campus that have bitten people.
- The clubs are highly dominated by seniors and freshers are sometimes not given importance.

I am a first-year student and I aspire to go abroad for higher studies and then explore my interests in the corporate world, whether I want to opt for a 9-5 job or teach in a university or maybe build an idea and eventually do my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Faculties are very much qualified and well-known persons in their respective fields. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:15. The exams happen very frequently and use to be on the tougher side mostly and the average goes low.

- Acads is very rigorous, lot of competition
- Assignments are given even in holidays and fest week
- Lack of student teacher interaction and bonding
Placement Experience:
6-7th semester onwards, students become eligible for placements. However, some of the students receive PPOs during their internships.
A large number of companies like Google, Flipkart, Microsoft, Uber, Rapido, Indeed, Optiver, Jane Street, etc, with average offers of 5-6 come to campus every year.
No idea about the package since I am a second-year UG student.
Most of the students get placements.

- A very tight schedule in terms of academics
- Classes from 8 AM , even in winter season.

Placement Experience:
Campus placement is very good. Roughly all the students get placed with a good salary. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Google, McKinsey, Wells Fargo, Tata, etc. all come to hire students. You can sit for placements in the 7th semester.

- There too much of academic load and very hard syllabus.
- Peer pressure, as it's top institute there's high level of competition between students
Placement Experience:
The placement at IIT Delhi is very good. There is a placement cell that helps students with placement and internship-related stuff. There are even cells for startups and entrepreneurship.
Top companies come to our college like Google, Microsoft, Jaguar, HCL, Flipkart, Amazon, etc.
I have other plans rather than sitting for placement I want to join Indian Airforce after getting my degree.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
