- My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
- The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
- Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.
Dislikes
- The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
- The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
- 75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

Placement Experience:
students become eligible for placements in fourth year which means 7th semester.
Being an IIT there is a certain reputation so all the the big companies come here to recruit students .
The CS people are the ones usually who get the highest package ehich is around 1 crore
The average of electrical branches like MnC,CS etc is 40 lakhs
All the other banches have an average if around 15-20 lakhs pa
Almost all students are placed and the ones who dont get placed are those who dont sit for placements in order to pursue higher education

- Placement criteria is very good for student
- Teachers have very good knowledge in their domain
- Labs have a very good environment for researchers
Dislikes
- Attendance criteria is not good for all students
- 3 times exam is a not good culture for any college
- Hostel seats are not enough for all students
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because i want to study deep in civil engineering and the teachers in IIT delhi having very good qualification from foreign universities and i choose GATE exam and it is very difficult to crack i took 2 years to crack

- I liked they are providing a single room to me.
- I liked the music program in different fest organised by them.
- I liked the quality of library they are providing to the students.
Dislikes
- They are not providing single room to all students. Mostly girls do not have single rooms.
- I disliked every classmates of my class. They have very low IQ and and narrow minded.
Placement Experience:
The students become eligible for placements in the last semester. Primal Group, Allen Career Institute, Akash Institute, etc a lot of companies came for placement. This is a time of recession. So, very few students get placements. My plan is to join the coaching industry as a teacher after my degree.

- Having access to different types of book of various author including Indian & foreigners author, highly attracted me towards central Library.
- SAC, stands for student activity center,
- Sports Mittal, the place where we got access to play different games.
Dislikes
- No fresher party for pg student hurted me
- Except staff canteen, all other canteen are a little far away from LHC
- Can't access moodle website creates little problem sometimes
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have a keen interest in power electronics that's why I opted for this course. In different iits they float the different program like in iit kanpur there is power engineering & in iit delhi there are mtech program in power electronics, control, power system etc. Overall on combining all the sub domain of electrical approximately 80-90 gets student got admission in iit delhi in 2022-23.
After getting admission, within two month we have to give minor exam & the pattern of exam & time schedule highly attracted me.

- The night life of the college is amazing. Night messes are open till 4 am.
- The intelligent brains all around you, helps to ush your limits.
- Faculty members have a lot of knowledge and are someone from whom you can get a lot of inspiration.
Dislikes
- A lot of syllabus is taught. Work pressure is high.
- Difficult to score in exams and maintain good cgpa.
- Harsh assignment deadlines and professors are not flexible with it.
Placement Experience:
Campus Placements - From the 7th semester onwards.
There is no such company that had come to IIT Delhi and made no offer.
The average package is 15-20lpa and the highest package is 1crore+ . (all in INR)
Around 80% of students are placed in IIT Delhi.
My plan is to do a job for some years and then do an MBA.

- Campus life is great! time well spent here!
- Great facilities for students like central library and computer center
- Good faculty and staff (Most of them!).
Dislikes
- little on costly side (accommodation and food)
- No internship for M. Tech students (On campus)
Placement Experience:
placements are very good and each year the numbers keeps on getting better. In year 2022, 50 students got offer above 1cr. and over a 1000 students got placed in 15 days. The average package goes upto 20 lakhs. Computer science and Electrical departments have the best figure in terms of placements. Mostly companies come for frofiles like Software Developer , Quantitative researcher/ trader, Data scientist/analyst and hardware engineer(VLSI).

- The time spent in the labs figuring out everything on our own.
Dislikes
- Nothin as such but the pressure that comes with it.
Placement Experience:
I haven't sat in placements but I heard they are good. However, it is really a pressure in IIT to get good placements as everyone expects high from you and you dont want to mess up the chances. I am still what I will do after the degree but will where it takes.

the curriculum and faculty are one of the best which one can get in india . Not only studies the campus life is also great . one get to learn so many thing about curriculum and life too which is the best part

- i liked the placements that they provide with an average of 20 lakhs per annum
- i like my hostel and campus life which was awesome and memorable

- there was nothing that i disliked much here
- if i have to speak i will speak about the pressure
- students often take a lot of stress for studies
Course Curriculum Overview:
i choose that course because i was really intrested in computer science learning new technologies and understanding how computers work was the thing that always fascinated me and motivated me to take this course

- Excellent infrastructure in the lecture hall complex
- Huge sports grounds and their maintainence
- Two auditoriums and also open air theatres
Dislikes
- heavy courses and a lot of studying required for a good cgpa
- very poorly maintained hostels and below average washrooms
Course Curriculum Overview:
My course is what i was getting with my rank in JEE ADVANCED and I chose it because i wanted iit delhi rather than a better course in another iit. there is a good ratio of faculty to student ratio. the faculty are qualified and most teach pretty well. exams are almost monthly and very difficult in general for majority students

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
