My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

Glimps of IIT DELHI

Campus Life- campus life at IIT Delhi is very happening
Infrastructure- infrastructure at IIT Delhi is stunning
Exposure - iit delhi provides a lot of exposure in a lot many fields

Dislikes

Course pressure- the daily routine of students becomes very hectic.
Professors- many professors are stubborn and students struggle to score in their courses.
Drinking and smoking- many students are indulged in these activities

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement in their last year. almost all of the major MNCs and all companies for core sectors, consulting, finance an tech visits. The highest international package was 2cr, the height domestic package was 1.25cr, and the average package was 17.5 LPA In 2022, 82% of Ug students got placed. I'll go for a tech job

overall review of my Institute

Likes

I liked a lot of things hostel culture here is good and seniors are very helping in nature.
Institute has all the amenities like food courts , night mess, sports Complex etc.
Professors here are good compared to other institute and understanding as well.

Dislikes

Rigorous academic structure, sometimes we have 2-3 exams ob the same day, it's a real headache
Security people are bit annoying, they don't have a rulebook and do moral policing as per their mood.
Mostly clubs are politics driven and real talent don't get much chance.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as this was the best course I was getting in IITD and my preference was location over everything else. The faculty-student ratio is good it's about 1:5 as far as I know. The faculties are good and have very professional teaching techniques and experience as well.

Hostel Conditions :- The hostel washroom conditions are pathetic

Most of the students get placed. The package amount varies from a few crores to minimal lakhs. The average package is around 16lpa. Google, Microsoft, and Amazon visit IIT Delhi. Students get placed in the 6th semester.

The heaven

Likes

Best campus and good environment for study
Lots of extra events other than aceds also happens.
Best for doing startups at early age and in 1st year

Dislikes

More academic pressure on students from 1st semester
Nothing other than this as it is best IIT
Hostel facilities are fine but not so good

Placement Experience:

The placement sat statics of the college is also nice. From the 6th semester, students are allowed to get placement and in one year approx 600 placement happens. Many companies such as Uber, TATA, McLery, etc came. percentage of students getting placed is about 80%

I Liked the exposure given by the college to students in sports and cultural activities which helps in the personality development of the individual
The sports culture of the College is par excellent and gives fair chance to each and everybody

Dislikes

75 percent attendance criteria for all courses

Placement Experience:

4th-year students are eligible to sit for placements Many companies visit during the placement season, including BCG and Big 4 for Consult and Amazing, Google for Tech, and many more The highest package of the Institute is around 1.5Cr while the average package differs from branch to branch. My branch gives an average package of 12 Lakhs Nearly all people who sit in placement get a job My plans after getting a degree are to do MBA from IIM Bangalore

Ambience of the campus is very good, while some people are absolute idiots( but they are everywhere )you meet plenty of people who are smart and who match your vibes
The facilities provided here are top notch. Enough said
Plenty of opportunities to upskill that present themselves frequently

Dislikes

Hostel rooms can be Mitch Mitch better than what they are
The environment here is very competitive and be a cause of stress sometimes

Placement Experience:

Students can sit in placements from semester 6. The highest package this year was 4CPA( international) average package is near 18LPA but steadily climbing. Most of the students appearing for placement get placed somewhere as far as I'm aware. I plan to do a master's degree after I get my bachelor's degree here and from there possibly step into the research route.

Life at IIT Delhi

You can change your course of study according to your choice
Excellent Extra curricular facilities provided
Faculty is easily approachable and helpful.

Dislikes

Hostel building is very old and weak. Repairs not done properly
Sometimes course load is too much and you have to study all day and all night
Some professors keep unusual grading policies just to trouble the students

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester onwards you become eligible for placements. Companies like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Optiver, Uber, Quadeye, Google, Microsoft, and tower visit for placements. Placement rate is above 90%. I plan to opt for higher studies after my b.tech.

Placement Experience:

Placements in IITD are really top-notch. Almost all hardworking students get placed before or during the placement seasons. The highest placement offers generally range between 1.5-2 cr per annum. And the average though varies from branch to branch but it generally ranges between 8-15 LPA. Also, some students also prefer higher studies either in India or Abroad after their degree.

The highest package can go up to 2.5 Cr for High-frequency Trading companies. The average package is 12-14 lakhs. 80% of students get placed. I plan on doing research in some foreign University

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season. The hostels of IIT Delhi are facilitated with a mess, washing machines, and drinking water supply on each floor. Here are some pictures of the IIT Delhi hostel rooms-
