Low fees compared to other places for my course

Fees and Financial Aid:

I got my seat via the NRI quota, so my fees was high compared to others. I paid 3 lakhs per annum resulting in a total of 12 lakhs for the complete course. My bathmates paid arnd 15k per annum through the general category and the hostel fees also was fairly low. I didnt opt for any scholarships but heard about a few that gave 50k to students who scored well.

I paid 16,350rs for first year and after that its been 13,800 for the next two, so there is no hike in fees rather, its been more cheaper in our case. The fees is same for all categories since its so affordable to begin with. There are scholarships given to students in newd and also on the basis of merit, the top 3 of the batches receive the scholarships every year. The tution fee per year is very nominal, it's around 16000 per year which is kindly affordable for individual. The fees for first year is ?16375 while for further years it will drop down to ?13000 for a year and it includes all the other charges like lab fees, library fees, caution fees etc. While talking about scholarship, jmi is flexible for scholarship as well in first year there are lot scholarship opportunities comes every year like some government scholarship opportunities, some private scholarship as well.. In second year jamia also provide scholarship but the condition is that the grades should be perfect and attendence also good. Overall the fees is affordable.
