Ahmedabad University offers a truly unique learning experience as it combines academic rigor with an abundance of opportunity. Here, students learn how to practically use their theoretical knowledge under the guidance of faculty, university management, and their seniors.
Ahmedabad University stands apart from other universities in the sense that it believes in multidisciplinary learning and the wholesome development of the student.
I am completely happy with my decision to choose Ahmedabad University over other premier universities owing to the amazing learning experience here. The liberal education and various events bring the students of all the branches and schools together creating an opportunity to learn and grow together.
However, I am a little unhappy with the recent changes in the engineering school where a few great faculties have left and the field of ICT has been closed and the department of CSE has been placed instead. I really wish that the new faculties being recruited to fill in the vacant positions are as good as the ones who left.
according to people workload might be a bad thing in any field but this bad thing in my university turned out for the best of it. this kind of workload given by the university makes us ready for the corporate world and also makes us know what measures we should take to excel in such corporate worlds.
One of my friends pursued his BBA degree from Ahmedabad University. His review regarding the institute is as follows.
Regardless of the course, you are pursuing, you need to stay engaged in your studies throughout the year at AU. You can’t mug up your books right before your examination and score well. You will have quizzes, case studies, presentations, etc. almost before every class.
It offers a wide range of courses. You will need to make your own timetable for the subjects that you choose.
The faculty of the institute is helpful. You can talk to them about your area of interest.
There are many clubs that you can join. Every Wednesday, different club events take place.
