There is no hike in the tution fees per year 2,40,000 yes there are many government scholarships college also gives scholarahips yes college provides campus placements internships and much more help for projects
Technical and social fests are really interested and very good .all the clubs work so hard to encourage the students .
Hostel rooms are 2 sharing and have all necessary things like aur conditioners,bed, mattress, study table etc.rooms are clean and comfortable too.

Dislikes

The management are quite bad and fees are high in compare other universities.
Unnecessary burden on students, they never understand the genuine concerns of students
Attendance of 80% is might be the disliked factor for me

Facilities don't anchorage to run behind the marks, they actually Anchorage to work on our skills which can brought us a good pakage in placement
Almost all faculties are coming from most popular colleges like IIT's NIT's etc many of them have done PHD, faculties are having good teaching skills
Campus, PDEU have very big campus, the atmosphere in PDEU is very good.

Yes we do have a good pakage placement Last year highest placement of btech CSE was 32 lakhs but it was off campus. And average placement pakage is 7-8 lakhs There are many good companies like JPMorgan, L&T, Accenture, TCS etc coming to over campus for placement

The PDEU Experience - A deep comprehensive review.

Likes

The infrastructure. Period. Clean washrooms on every floor of every block along with 2 or 3 drinking water dispensers on every floor. Also 2 large libraries.
Impressive seating space. Lots of places around the college to sit around , study or just hang out with your friends. There are even tens of gazebos with seating capacity of upto 35 people all arpund the college.
Classrooms have comfortable rotatable seats, whiteboards, projectors, central ACs, softboards, elevation for the seats in the back and huge glass windows with curtains. The classrooms are soundproof.

Dislikes

Although some people may not mind it, but you can several people smoking, making out around and mostly outside the campus. It makes me feel uncomfortable.

Placement Experience:

5th semester, students can give interviews in companies visiting the campus for placements. Reliance, Yes Bank, Infosys, Jindal Steel are frequent recruiters. Highest off campus placements for mechanical this year is 40 LPA at unknown company. Highest on campus placement last year was 14 LPA for mechanical engg. Almost 100% placements for students who opt for it. My plans are to opt for higher studies if i dont get a high package of 15 LPA or above.

Life at PDEU

Likes

The laboratories and campus infrastructure are really very good.
The faculty has a very good expertise in teaching along with great experience. Most of them are IIT PHD scholars and have great knowledgeow
The campus amenities involve big comfortable classrooms and laboratories along with a dedicated sports complexs

Dislikes

The teaching method of few of the faculties is worst.
Some faculties don't even have that practical knowledge which they should possess to provide us.
The teaching method should be improved as the course curriculum is really brilliant

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after the 6th semester itself. They could give interviews to the companies which visit our College. In their final year students can even acquire a great placement from the companies visiting our College for hiring students. The companies visiting are TCS,Paypal,JPMC,google and many more. The highest packages are obtained by petroleum engineering students beacause of the universities specialization in it. Also the average package ranges from 5-6 lpa but not 100% placement is achieved. Around 70-80% students get placed every year if we talk about all branches overall. My plan is to achieve a good placement from the college itself after my degree.

PDEU is more than exceptional!!

The college is located in Kudasan which was three years back and outskirt but now is the gateway to Gift City.
A metro station has been built right next to our college and it has made our commuting so easy.
Campus is so huge and plus there are not much restrictions on hostel timings.

Dislikes

Students aren't that serious here as many of them are from business background and have come here just for fun.

Placement Experience:

PDEU believes in skill building and therefore it all starts from second semester. Our labs sessions are also more of teaching us skills than just the coding so during the end of the 6th semester, we are informed t be ready. Companies like Google, Amazon, and BSE among others which are now going to be available in GIFT CITY have made tie-ups with our university. The average placements as of now stands at 10 lakhs which soon wil cross 20 lakhs once the Gift City is operational.

Infrastructure of the college: the campus is of good size with all basic amenities
Faculty: the teachers and the lab assistant are very helpful and good with their work
Library: total of 3 libraries in the campus based on different courses

Dislikes

Sitting area is very less compared to the number of students
Cafeteria is always full and most of the students leave ther leftovers on the table

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very in line with the current requirements of the field. We are also given open electives such as English communication and Organizatioonal Behaviour which helps is the overall development of a student

Likes

The infrastructure is very good, teacher are highly qualified all are PhD holders teachers can be available to solve your doubts once you take an appointment with them, the environment is very safe
Campus Life is very engaging, events keeps on happening every festival is celebrated. Competition keeps on happening , every type of amenities are available. Learning faculties such as library as well canteen
The course is not to tough or hard a child with average knowledge can also do the course. Placement is 6 lakh average package highest is 12 lakh . Boys girls ratio is 50:50

Dislikes

I don't like the management. Gap between 2 classes is sometimes 3 hours
Course is costly in accordance to the things the offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Business management since I want to become entrepreneur. Curriculum is giving me confidence to keep my ideas forword in the real word. Real world application needs to be putten more . More industrial visits and workshop needs to be conducted. Easy level exams.

The faculty here is good enough for you.
There is quite a good education here and the exam system here is also good
There is equality here and no one can get admission via contacts

Dislikes

Girls ratio is too low here, 10 in class of 85
There are many boys here in the college.
Specially in electrical field there are more girls compared to boys

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college offers a lot of additional activities like worshop practices in which a individual can get to know different types of works related to cutting of woods, how the wood is manufactured and how its processed amd then also we have classes of environmental sciences human resources, and then at last we also have class of Indian knowledge system, in which we can get advanced knowledge about how the justice workds in our country india amd can get additional knowledge rather than just conputer Engineering science which is my field, so this is the thing that attracted my to get in this college

Likes

The campus is pretty good. It has modern infrastructure and good research facilities.
Seniors are very supportive and friendly to freshmen. There is no chance of raging.
The events and festivals are so good. There are so many cocurricular activities that are important in my college.

Dislikes

Some faculties are so rude. They don't get liberal with students.
Attendance is very important in my college. College is very serious about attendance.
The boy-to girl ratio is very poor. It's around 4 boys at one girl.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students can apply for campus placement. So many tech and finance companies come to give placement in our college, like TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan, and the list goes on. The highest package offered is 38 L.P.A. by JP Morgan to 4 students. Almost 70% of students get placed. After getting my degree, I would love to try in the startup industry; in fact, I have so many ideas.

I have pursued bachelors in automobile engineering currently. The main advantage of me being in this course is advanced labs which includes various engines and different machines as well as my college has an excellence centre specially for automobile which is a workshop plant.

Placement of the college nowadays is less because of the recession after the COVID-19 phase. Nowadays company expects more and more talent and hardwork but still the placements of the college is one of the best in Gujarat

One of my friends studied at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDPU), Gandhinagar. According to him, it is the right institution to study Petroleum Engineering.

They have a very good curriculum, updated to match the industry norms.
The faculties are highly experienced and also includes industry experts taking classes often.
The infrastructure of PDPU is well maintained. All departments have their own designated buildings.
The campus has 3 libraries.
Workshops and Labs are well equipped with the latest technology. They also have a virtual class facility.
Their auditorium is one of the best in Gujrat.
Hostels are newly established, hence have all the necessary facilities.
The whole campus is wifi enabled.
They have sports facilities available in the campus, the sports complex is one of the biggest in India.
Gandhinagar is the capital of Gujarat and the most planned city of India. It is well connected with proper transport facilities.
