There is no hike in the tution fees per year 2,40,000 yes there are many government scholarships college also gives scholarahips yes college provides campus placements internships and much more help for projects
Technical and social fests are really interested and very good .all the clubs work so hard to encourage the students .
Hostel rooms are 2 sharing and have all necessary things like aur conditioners,bed, mattress, study table etc.rooms are clean and comfortable too.

Dislikes

The management are quite bad and fees are high in compare other universities.
Unnecessary burden on students, they never understand the genuine concerns of students
Attendance of 80% is might be the disliked factor for me

Life at PDEU

Likes

Campus is built on an area of 250+ acre which provides a lot of facilities.
There are various curricular and co curricular clubs to help boost skills of students.
There are separate libraries for every branch with every book available both online and offline.

Placement Experience:

Students can sit in placement interviews from 7th semester. Talking about this year's placement in Petroleum, Highest package till now is 25 lpa and average is 7 lpa. Companies like Baker Hughes, Quest Global, Haliburton, Shell, LnT, Weatherford, EY, etc have come and have taken students. Many more companies have come for placements and have taken students. I have got my placement in Quest Global and so I am happy.

PDEU fun life sad placements

Likes

The campus is great for all extracurricular activities
Good amount of books and softwares are available in the campus
Good gender ratio because of SLS and good inter- department interaction

Dislikes

Placement cell is the worst here just like a government office
Very few teaching faculties know what they teach other just come and read ppt
Unnecessary burden on students, they never understand the genuine concerns of students

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum do try to amalgamate all the aspects of petroleum engineering but it is of no use if most of the students are not getting placed in core sector, then this knowledge is just waste of time.

About my college PDEU

I liked many things like sports facilities, hostel facilities, architecture
Pdeu has 2 football ground 1 cricket 6 basketball grounds
Faculties at PDEU are one of the most experienced and full of knowledge

Placement Experience:

They are average. Not a good return on investment. Averge is 8 lpa for Cse on 10 lakh fees From 7th sem students are eligible for placements Not big MNC visits campus but local companies do visit campus like shipment, oddo etc. Highest package is around 35lpa Percentage of student getting placements would be around 80% My plans after degree is placement

PDPU, BEST COLLEGE IN GUJARAT

Likes

Amazing fests and culture. Also, friendly faculty and classy friends.
Amazing sports facility, like tennis, badminton, football and cricket
Nice campus and reputation. Good faculty and good research chances

Dislikes

Not much done for indoor sports. Such as indoor basketball stadium
Not very high placements, like 13lpa+. Also, big companies like google dont come here
80% attendance is compulsory, which is hard to maintain

Placement Experience:

Placements are not great, but not bad either. You can easily expect a 6 lac per annual job from cse department. Cannot comment on other branches though, due to limited knowledge. But companies like jio come

College vibe is just amazing and specially if you are hostile then you will get one of the best experience of your life

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but you have to be the best of about about your patches so in my patch there was a highest package of 15 lpa and average package was around 6 lpa. In the lowest lpa was 2.4 which is offered to a student

The life and career at PDEU

Likes

I liked one thing about this college is its management of academic calendars and supporting nature to start-up
It provides good campus facilities with all AC classrooms and also on campus ground facilities are very appreciative
It provides high technology labs like that have i7 12th gen 16RAM 4GB NVIDIA pc in all lab

Dislikes

Things that I don't like is its time table structure for all students

After 6th semester students are eligible for placements Micron reliance adani ONGC also other local companies are comes in campus for placement 6LPA-10LPA is avg package 40-50% studeyare placed My plan is to doing job after degree

Pandit Deendayal energy University college review

PDEU is one of the most expensive engineering college in Gujarat,but the infrastructure is top notch.labs,classroom,sports facilities everything is top notch.
Talking about teachers and faculties some are awesome whereas some have ego issues, although all of them are highly skilled and expert in there field,they are always up to help.
Talking about social culture,PDEU is very social,you can easily make tons of friends.seniors are very helpful,we have 40-50 different clubs.from technical clubs of coding to graphic designing, cultural clubs like dancing, singing club, everything.

Dislikes

Part which i dislike most is outdated syallabus,but in 2024 they are revised whole syllabus so that won't be an issue any more,they are now adding subjects like singing and dancing for overall development
Our college does not have great placement statistics.with fees of about 11 lakh for four years,the placement ratio is very less and not upto the mark.
Attendance policy is headache,we have 80% attendance rule,and even after medical leave it should be atleast 70%

Placement Experience:

Our placement are average being honest,after spending hefty money, placements are not upto the mark. After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Some famous Companies that visit on campus Is JP morgan, Infosys,tata consultancy services, Aditya Birla group and reliance industries. For CS branch the average was of 9 lpa with highest being of 38 LPA.for all other branch average was around 7-6lpa. Almost 50% of students goes for higher studies and out of remaining 50%,only about 60-70% of them are placed. My plans is to prepare for CAT and get into good B-school

PDEU chemical engineering course review

The environment of the college is peaceful and very active.
The facilities provided are up to the mark.

Dislikes

Less creative students and most students only focus on getting a good CGPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My field of study is chemical engineering. The first year cirriculum envolves teaching of many basic and useful engineering and work related skills. These include auto CAD, engineering drawing, python, C programming, etc.

Pdeu campus is so good for students .all activities in our college,many events garba halloween party, song night and extra.
Professor teaching methods and all our labs and facilities.
All sports games available in our college.extra circular activities and visiting..

Students become eligible for the campus placement is the 8 sem after the internship program. Many companies visited and offer for job to the students. Reliance, Google, Amazon, Microsoft,bkt,TCS,telly.. Highest package of our college is a computer science branch.and average package is the 600000 per anum. Percentage of students getting placement is the 40% in our college. My plans after getting degree is the apply for the job and one reaserch in biology field

Exploring PDEU: The Energy University

college coding culture as it has many clubs especially encode that hosts several events regarding current topics.
college fests this are too vibrant and essential for a student who is in any college.
faculties are always eager to help the students and also help us.

Dislikes

sometime the University timings and timetable is too hectic.
sometimes the assigned works are too much that overloads as.
Exams are quite tough here but depends upon how to study.

Placement Experience:

students get eligible for placements after 7 semester and last till 8 sem. For internships the companies come during 6th sem. Many well-known and good companies have visited with descent package and to get the list refer the official website of PDEU and for further details for placements and package related. I have decided for seat for placement rather masters.

One of my friends studied at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDPU), Gandhinagar. According to him, it is the right institution to study Petroleum Engineering.

They have a very good curriculum, updated to match the industry norms.
The faculties are highly experienced and also includes industry experts taking classes often.
The infrastructure of PDPU is well maintained. All departments have their own designated buildings.
The campus has 3 libraries.
Workshops and Labs are well equipped with the latest technology. They also have a virtual class facility.
Their auditorium is one of the best in Gujrat.
Hostels are newly established, hence have all the necessary facilities.
The whole campus is wifi enabled.
They have sports facilities available in the campus, the sports complex is one of the biggest in India.
Gandhinagar is the capital of Gujarat and the most planned city of India. It is well connected with proper transport facilities.
