There is no hike in the tution fees per year 2,40,000 yes there are many government scholarships college also gives scholarahips yes college provides campus placements internships and much more help for projects
Technical and social fests are really interested and very good .all the clubs work so hard to encourage the students .
Hostel rooms are 2 sharing and have all necessary things like aur conditioners,bed, mattress, study table etc.rooms are clean and comfortable too.

Dislikes

The management are quite bad and fees are high in compare other universities.
Unnecessary burden on students, they never understand the genuine concerns of students
Attendance of 80% is might be the disliked factor for me

Reality of pdeu

Likes

Campus Is very beautiful and greenary. Most of sports ground are there
Wifi is provided everywhere within campus
All classroom are equipped with Air conditioners

Dislikes

Parking space is not available much as compared to vehicles
Sometimes wifi speed is very low due to heavy user load
First year subject are worst they are of no use just wasting the time

Placement Experience:

Currently I am studying in 2nd sem . So I don't have much idea about placement but according to data available on website and hearings from senior. Average package is around 9 lpa and highest is over 50 LPA off campus

Green College

Likes

The surrounding here in the college is good.
The area is very large and trees everywhere.
The classrooms can contain minimum of 75 students.

Dislikes

There are a lot of wild dogs inside the college premises.
The playgrounds are not properly managed.
The security personels are not friendly.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate in PDEU is 90percentage plus. Many MNC and big companies like google amazon Flipkart tcs Reliance tata and many companies come in PDEU for placement. Nearly 99 percentage students get placement if they work hard.

Likes

Education and faculty are very good in teaching
Infrastructure and campus are very beautiful
Examination pattern and other things are good.

Dislikes

Mess's food is quite fine . And there is pressure

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester students are eligible for placements. There are many companies such as Big 4, waghbakri, Shell, Indian Oil, etc. The highest package is around 19,00,000 and the average is about 8,00,000 100% placement is there. My plan is to join the job only.

The life at PDEU, Gandhinagar

Likes

The clubs at PDEU are awesome. There are more than 40 clubs across all disciplines. Festivals are also celebrated with great enthusiasm.
One more thing I liked very much about the college is the ragging free campus and hostels. There is zero ragging and all the seniors are very friendly. They also have a toll free number in case ragging is seen anywhere.
The directors of different departments are so greatly qualified and speak very nicely and are full with knowledge. Seniors are also very friendly and these all things together create an environment where the aspiring students thrive.

Placement Experience:

Currently I am in my first year and no placement is offered to me. They are telling the placements are very nice and the seniors I am connected to on LinkedIn are doing very good with their academics and internships. So I think that the placements are very good. Also according to official statistics of last year, the highest package through campus placement was around 46 lakhs with is huge.

The place was very huge and very big campus

Dislikes

The package is very low and the placements also.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are based on your luck. They do say 100 percent placement but its not true. Also we have a placement committee which is very strict and they will do anything to get their pay. They do not care about the students future. The policy are very strict about if you apply you have to go for interview if you go for interview you cannot reject you must accept no matter what or else they will remove you from the placement process.

The faculty in my college ate scholars and professionals who bring wealth of knowledge and expertise to classroom
Beyond academic,My college emphasizes the holistic development of its students .The campus offers various extracurricular activities ,sport facilities,and student clubs that encourages the teamwork
Pdeu provides numerous opportunities for students to gain global exposure through exchange programs and international conferences

Dislikes

Some of us find the admistrative process to be slow and cumbersome
The academic workload can be intense with a rigorous curriculum that demands a significant amount of time and effort
The placement opportunities could be more diverse, especially for non sector's

As there is huge demand of computer engineering is now a days this course is pretty much good .But talkin' about the teaching curriculum we should improve by applying proper teaching skills from ver basic than to advance

The infrastructure is really good. Ac classrooms and the benches.
A lot of clubs to participate in which have active events.
Good diversity in crowd really. Like you'll meet all kind of people.

Dislikes

The campus is really small. Like not enough space to have a good walk.
The girls hostel timings are too bad considering the college is so far from main city and it takes time to travel.
Too much deserted area around the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chemical is personally really good from this college. It has really good faculty members and a very helpful reliable curriculum that will help you out in industry. the professors are always available to guide you.

Automobile Engineering life @ PDEU

Infrastructure is huge and have facilities like water drinking, washrooms on each floor, campus has amenities for medicines, snacks and stationery.
Rooms have big seating capacity and 4 air conditioners.
Just outside campus metro station is getting developed so it gives ease of transportation.

Dislikes

Management is very slow. And they send mail for fees before 1 month of the beginning of the semester. No assitance is provided, you have to pay it in full before the deadline.
Scholarships are given to only those whose family income is less than 7Lpa. If you are scoring high then there's no benefit for you!
All the faculties over here are mostly Phds but some of them we received in our initial years were incapable of teaching and behaving properly with students.

Placement Experience:

In the final year students becomes eligible for campus placement. (i.e, 7th sem) TCS, MG, Hyundai, Alstom, Samarth e mobility and several others visited. Highest offered was 6.8LPA. Avg is 2-3 LPA. 33% students have been placed. Many of the notifications through email were purposefully not sent to automobile students. One faculty noticied it and fought for us. Otherwise percentage of students getting placed would be much less. I am considering Higher studies after the degree.

A good college with good life

Likes

College life all the events sports facilities
Good professors good laboratories study materials is good
Library is available and having most of the field related books

Dislikes

It’s is so big in summer it’s gets irritating rush at store
Rush at store for photocopying you have to stand for half an hour

Placement Experience:

After 7 semester students can apply for placement Campus placement is available 6 lacs is average salary package Highest goes up to 12 lacs per annum 50 to 60% students getting placed in top companies.

One of my friends studied at Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDPU), Gandhinagar. According to him, it is the right institution to study Petroleum Engineering.

They have a very good curriculum, updated to match the industry norms.
The faculties are highly experienced and also includes industry experts taking classes often.
The infrastructure of PDPU is well maintained. All departments have their own designated buildings.
The campus has 3 libraries.
Workshops and Labs are well equipped with the latest technology. They also have a virtual class facility.
Their auditorium is one of the best in Gujrat.
Hostels are newly established, hence have all the necessary facilities.
The whole campus is wifi enabled.
They have sports facilities available in the campus, the sports complex is one of the biggest in India.
Gandhinagar is the capital of Gujarat and the most planned city of India. It is well connected with proper transport facilities.

PDPU Gandhinagar offers a great campus life. The campus life is also vibrant. They host lots of activities in various areas like coding, gaming, debating, etc. Also, lots of workshops are there for different streams. PDPU Gandhinagar has yearly cultural and technical fests known as ‘Flare’ & ‘Tesseract’ respectively. Overall PDPU is good and also has a strong alumni network.
