Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

The beautiful journey - NIT kurukshetra

Likes

College is very in every field and departments and there is need of improvement in hostels and departments infrastructure.
Faculties are well qualified and knowledgeable and highly experienced and teaching methods are very different from others colleges
Placement are too good here and last year there are 80% above students are placed and top MNC also come here

Dislikes

Infrastructure of hostel need to be improved and hostel timings also need to be change
There is public transport facilities should be provided in campus beacause is too large and in these heat condition it need to be necessary
Mess food of some hostels are no good and mess charges are too high .

Placement Experience:

The campus placement of the college is very good and this year more than 80% of the students of the college were placed and here companies like Google or Facebook, companies like Amazon, from which more than 100 companies have developed the college this time and the highest package is Rs. 1 crore. Although she was a student of Diya, she is not in the Civil Engineering department but in the Computer Engineering department. After my PLA placement, within one or two years, I want to move ahead for my infrastructure and after that, do government job preparation and move ahead in this field so that I can serve the country better and improve more and more in my field. could

NIT have good and green campus and peaceful environment
Professors are well experienced and very friendly
It has many clubs and societies also oat is one of the most fascinating thing

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not much developed and very less numbers of shops are there in our campus which sell their goods at higher rate
The 75 % attendance criteria is disgusting

Course Curriculum Overview:

My branch is IoT and it comes under the ECE department. Curriculum of both in 1st year is same except the fact that we study python programming but in ece branch they use to study chemistry . Im interested in robotics and sensor technology thats why i choose this branch In IoT you have study real world technology and many new technology for futures like iot sensors robotics automation etc We have 2 mid sem exams in two months and one endsem exam

The campus of our college is large and beautiful. There is alot of greenry and gardens are there in our college
The classrooms are big and most of the classes have air conditioners
The meditation room is there for the mental peace

Dislikes

Some of classrooms have broken benches and injured some classmates.
Sometimes faculty are not willing to teach the students
Placement states are not good in this year and there is decline in Placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the college is good but not upto the mark. There is one subject environmental chemistry which helps us to know more about natural phenomenon occurring around us. There are 2 semesters in a year in our college. In each semester there is 2 mid sem exam

CAMPUS INFRASTRUCTURE: CAMPUS INFRASTRUCTURE IS SO GOOD IN MY POINT OF VIEW AS HERE ALONG WITH STUDY SPORTS FACILITIES ARE ALSO THERE.CLASSROOMS ARE DESIGNED IN AVERY GOOD MANNER,AC'S ARE AVAILABLE IN MOST OF THE CLASSROOMS.
CAMPUS AND HOSTEL LIFE: IN THIS COLLEGE ALONG WITH STUDY THE EXPOSURE WE GET IS ALSO SO GOOD WHILE WE INTERACT WITH OUR CLASSMATES AND WITH ALSO SENIORS.WE LEARNS LOT OF THINGS FROM THIS INTERACTION.
FESTS: IN THIS COLLEGE I ALSO LIKED MOST IS FESTS LIKE UTKARSH ,TECHSPARDHA,AND MANY MORE .WE HAVE ENJOYED A LOT IN THESE FESTS.

PROFESSOR'S WAY OF TEACHING: I THINK IN THIS COLLEGE TEACHERS ARE NOT SO INTERACTIVE.THEY ARE LIKE COMES FOR ONLY COURSE COMPLETION BUT NOT FOT TO EDUCATE SOMETHING TO STUDENTS.
COLLEGE GATE CLOSE TIMING: IN THIS COLLEGE THE MAIN GATE CLOSES AT 10:30 PM IN THE NIGHT WHICH IS NOT GOOD IN MY KNOWLEDGE BECAUSE OF THIS RESTRICTION COLLEGE NIGHT LIFE IS NOT ENJOYED COMPLETELY.

It was fantastic experience as all companies were competing for the students

Good infrastructure, well maintained hostels
Good salary package, Clubs & Societies are good
Location advantage as it's nearby Delhi, Almost all branch students are allowed in more than 40% of the companies to sit for the placements

Dislikes

The quality of professors is not so good
Less emphasis on practical learning & industry projects
More emphasis on academic pressure of books, girls boy's ratio is very less

Sufficient to differentiate nit Kurukshetra from another colleges

Likes

So many tourist plces like shimla chandigarh rishikesh are near to college so so many trips can be done with friends

Dislikes

Kurukshetra is not a big city so inside Kurukshetra no place for hangouts
Very bad politics by dean and director of college as they cannot give sufficient funding for fest and societies
Ragging free campus so senior junior interaction is little weak

Placement Experience:

Before 2024 on campus placement is quite good as of avg package of 13 lap and avg package of cse is 22lpa and 80-85% students placed in on campus placement but in 2024 during resession period placement decreases tu only 40% students got on campus placement till now

Best infrastructure and greenary environment
All Seniors are friendly and also supportive
Teachers are experienced and helping and also friendly

Dislikes

Hostel message food in not that much good.
Restriction on going outside hostel at night
Not that much focus on seminar on business

Placement Experience:

Placement ratio of our collage is pretty good. Student starts getting placement after completion of 6th semester. In 2023 highest package is of 1.25 crore given to a student of electrical engineering and the average package was 14.6 lakh

The campus is very beautiful, so many plants and trees are here
Atmosphere of the college is good and market is also good

Dislikes

Some Professors are little bit strict giving school vibes
There is in time for girls so no good night life in college
Mess food of hostels are not really good and there is nothing systematic in college

So when we come in the fourth year of the college companies start coming for the placement drive. Companies like Adobe, Flipkart, Microsoft,Jan pac etc. highest CTC in college is around 70 lakhs and average package is 12 lpa

Likes

Academic culture and techers, some of the teachers are really helpful even helping you in postgrad studies and personal guidance
Mental health awareness, Dedicated club, yoga center and therapist to consult.

Dislikes

Road safety norms in front of the college are not so strict. Speeding cars are a usual scenario.
College fights ruin a lot of the cultural and tech fests.
The way college maintaining its own data is very poor, filing paperwork and office hours is hectic.

Placement Experience:

College placements are average i would say. Not a lot of companies visit and average package is mediocre i would say. But the NIT tag can get you a lot of interviews. People outside the sampus value the NIT tag a lot and would really convey this even during the hirign process.If you're not getting a job on campus. you'll surely strike one from outside with little skills.

Likes

Teachers and professors behaving are very good with the students
Hostel facility and food is also very good
Other facility like health care, sports meditation are also available here

Dislikes

There is nothing as such which i can dislike in my college
But here outside visiting places are less

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically im in the civil engineering department in Nit Kurukshetra, today this department is time to time improve, many lab are provide us for real experience I also did intership in khanna designer in gurgaon through college Now a day we can also see that every where is part of civil like bridges dams building highway sector so i think this course is very helpfull for my future building
