Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

A comprehensive review of NIT Kurukshetra

The campus is beautiful , it has a lot of greenery and market is nearby so we have access to every essential thing we need.
The reputation of college is very good being an NIT and that too an old established one.

Dislikes

The fest was not up to par , it is a big college which gets funding from government still fest was mediocre at best
Placement is currently not going so well , it might also be due to the recession in IT field but still it can be better

Placement Experience:

Campus placements drive begin from 7th semester of the course . Major recruiters include companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart etc. Approx 80% of the batch gets placed in the drive with average being around 14.7lakh and highest package being 65 lakh.

It was a good experience at NIT kurukhetra.
Friends are everything. Sports and games are best thing here.
Since it is coed you can try for girls. You can find .

Dislikes

College couples. Hostel food and hotel bathrooms.
Gym has very less equipment available In it.
Helath centre doctor is worst. She doesnt care.

Placement Experience:

Good placments are offered. But it has decreased this year. Previously interns were available from 3 rd year but now they are not available. 80 percentage students are offered placement. I am planning to apply for isro scholarship scientist.

How is the campus life and education in NIT kurukshetra?

The things I personally liked about the college is friendly seniors, there is no ragging in campus, senior's are very polite.
Second thing is the quality education. The professors are highly qualified and works with full passion
Extra curricular activities :- each and every sports have its own ground wheather it is indoor or outdoor .

Dislikes

Every college have pros and cons . I think 75 % attendance is mandatory for examination
Hostel buildings are too much old . There should be some new hostels constructed
The quality of food must be improved in hostel mess

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mechanical and production engineering labs are very well maintained. I also Heard on interest that NIT Kurukshetra is doing well in the field of production engineering. The placement percentage is above 95 percent. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate. You can start your studies 1 week before the sessional exams.

I liked sports like volleyball table tennis, cultural events,tech events
I liked the cultural event named confluence here
Also I liked citius 2023 which is a event of sports

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually I want to take mathematical and computing but on the behalf of my score I get this branch.but now I like this course.by pursuing btech from this branch I can go in tech field or in core field.you need basic understanding of circuit element to get good in this course.

Life at NIT KKR

College is well planned and everything is accessible from the hostels . The college has its own market inside the campus.
Fests of the college are thrice in a year and there are numerous prizes .
There is a 2 km eco track and a lake inside the campus and an enormous open air theatre of capacity of 2500 people.

Dislikes

There is no known QSR shops in the campus such as Subway, MC Donald's or CCD .
There is no night canteen in the campus and it is very difficult to get food in night .
Electric appliances such as kettles, induction gas are not allowed in the hostel .

Placement Experience:

In normal market conditions there is full placement of almost all branches. Companies come in the 7th semester for the placement. But due to recession the college is able to place only 36% of the students this year. Many big tech companies like Microsoft, JPMC,etc visits the college. My plan after getting the degree is to get placement.

Campus Life is very beautiful and memorable.
Seniors are very much supportive always ready to guide us .

Dislikes

Only 2 place to hang out and they is also small
Girls should be allowed to come in night time for hang out with friends.
Bikes are not allowed,not even to take to hostels.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are good in the 6th sem all students start getting their internship and in starting of the 8th semester everyone starts getting placement. Facebook, Amazon, HCl, tata motors, IBM many more. In 2022-2023 total offers were 683. The highest was 63lpa and the average is 5lpa. In 2023 total placement was 80% and some students prepared for higher education and government exams. My plan is to do startup PR to run a business.

The campus is based on the green theme and there is abundance of the trees and a lake is also there in the campus which gives the sight of relaxation to eyes .
It has a great infrastructure and the faculty are well experienced and they share with us the the practical things happening in the industry for better understanding .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had an interest in engineering from my primary school and my teachers also influenced me to take the right path i.e. B.Tech. The curriculum is well suited for the real world application as engineers are needed for literally everything and they are the one responsible for new innovation and technology . No improvements required as such . Difficulty level is moderate .

Hostel life qnd roaming with the friends.
There are many sports will be sit together and have fun also the rooms are very badhiya..
Campus is very big show it is very fun to Roam around the campus

Dislikes

Teachers and their teaching style is very boring.
It is not allowed to go after 8:30 p.m. at night from hostel
There is no proper Wi-Fi facility in library for studying

Placement Experience:

I think the placement of my college is going less because when I saw the placement before my admission in the campus it was very good but now the placement has gone below it has just drop to 37% placement overall I think it is not too much good but I will definitely work hard to get better placement....

Campus is full of greenish with best environment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personal interest and understanding of this course is much better. Like civil engineering, prepare you for the infrastructure development of country. No, Here is best faculty and best teaching methodology. Jee mains timing is 3 hours and difficulty level is moderate.

There have best faculty and grace faculty for curricular activities. According to your jee rank you have to get college through jossa counseling. NO SUGGESTION FOR IMPROVEMENT IN THE COURSE CURRICULUM AND TEACHING METHODS. Jee mains level is moderate and it's timing is 3 hrs.
