Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

The kurukshetra of student's life

Likes

The clubs and societies and the seniors are so helpfull
There are a lot of societies like robotics ,coding, and also cultural societies
Professors are so helpfull they even help you after classes . All Classrooms have ac which most nit or iit do not have .

Dislikes

The new branches like AI and IOT does not have their department not have much facilities
AI is not good in this nit as there is no such facilities
The college is in a small town so face problems in outside nit life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ece has gaining it's importance and job opportunities are also increasing. By 2028 ece students have approx. 70k job opportunities. It has curriculum of robotics which is very interesting and tempting. In a semester we have 3 exams which includes 2 mid sem and one end sem . The only thing I want to change that every thing should be practically teachen not theoretically.

The infrastructure is pretty good, there are air conditioned classes available so students can be comfortable
The campus size is quite big and its nicee, you have a lot of places to explore within the campus.
the sports faclities here are very good, you get to play any sport you want except for tennis

Dislikes

They have closed the 6 month leave earlier given for internships so we have to apply for it off campus
College development is not taking place and its rank is declining
the location of college is not good it is located in a remote area

Placement Experience:

So the placement opportunity is quite good because of the NIT tag. But because of the location several good companies do not employ from our college like google meta etc. Companiues like microsoft adobe come to the college for recruitment . about 70% of the students get placed and avg package is about 13-15 lpa

Real face of NIT_KURUKSHETRA

Likes

Campus is clean, its a lush green 300acre campus which is very nice nature wise.
Hostels are well equipped with Lan ports, we get around 80mbpd speed, which is nice.
for boys after first year, no hostel intime, so roam anywhere inside the campus anytime.

Dislikes

infrastructure is not upto the mark. hostels are also not well maintained (H1 , H5, H6)
physics lab does not have equipments that are working correctly.
hostel intime for girls is 8:30. so they have to compromise.

Placement Experience:

Placements are usually good in here, like last year we have something arounf 80% placemnet percet, while COE/ IT brancehes had above 95% , whch average of 20lac per annum, ECE also had average of 17lac per annum with 14lac as median package. but this recession hit the college that had affected the placements this year, only 50% of students gets placed , but theres no doubt rest of the student will get jobs as they have a NITian TAG with them

Likes

The campus is safe , and there are good public transportation options.
The diversity on campus foster a rich culture exchange
There are good sports facilities for sports enthusiasts

Dislikes

The administration process is slow sometimes
The syllabus is not up to date due to which a student can't depend on only college.

Placement Experience:

The overall placements for the undergrad course is very good , Students become eligible for placement in 7th semester . Many companies visit for example infosys , amazon, microsoft, mathworks ,etc. The highest package offered this year was from computer engineering branch and was 60 lpa and average package is around 15-20lpa, The percentage of students getting placed was low this year because of recession and was almost 50-60 percent of eligible students.

Likes

The atmosphere of this college is very good in every respect
The main reason is the staff professor and whole dean are good and ready to solve the problem
Good campus area and all the facilities are provided

Dislikes

The club and soceity are not to much active except some societies
The ratio of boys and girl are also weak in every department except non core

The teaching curriculum is veery good the practical experience which we gained in our classes are very helpful in our real life and there is nothing need to change in teaching methods. The exam pattern and the exam taking is very good

NIT KURUKSHETRA CAMPUS LIFE

The college campus is very large and beautiful
Everything is available in college and from medical service to canteen service
Even the teachers and seniors are very good they don’t do ragging and the teachers are so cooperative

Dislikes

Non veg foods are strictly prohibitated .and in the mess only veg is available
The exam happens is very conceptual and not like others
You can’t even take the non veg food from outside to inside

The curriculum is so good they start teaching you your core subjects from second sem only unlike from other colleges and they have all the equipment in the labs and there is two midsems which happens in a semester and 1 endsem

Likes

Single rooms are provided to every student from second year onwards and triple sharing in first year.
The classrooms are amazing, large in size equipped with sir conditioners and centrally located.
Most of the people I met in the college were very down to earth and helpful, something you don't get to see everywhere these days

Dislikes

The placement cell is screwed up and the placement officers are very arrogant and always blame you for everything.
The college and the entire city is vegetarian friendly and it gets very difficult to find good quality non veg food.
The laboratories are very old and most of the machines are not in working condition anymore.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester if they have no existing backlogs. However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.

NIT Kkr: Fairly explained

Likes

The campus has modern facilities like laboratories and libraries and CCN.
Our college encourages a balanced student life with various events, clubs and societies. And my favourite fest is Confluence.
Our college has strong and active alumni network. It helps current students by providing mentorship and guest lectures.

Dislikes

The faculty here is boring. They have an old fashioned teaching style. They don't use exciting stuff that much.
The second thing is Night curfew. Freshers are not allowed to go out of the hostels after 8:30PM.
It's placement is not that good. The average package this year is 8 lakhs per annum.

Placement Experience:

Our college provides average placement. Students are eligible for placement from seventh semester ( the starting of fourth year). 1086 students registered for placement, out of which 851 were eligible and out of which 405 got placed. The highest on campus placement package is 61 lakhs grabed by a computer engineering student. And the average package is 8 lakhs. 37.3% students get placed this year. My plan is to excel in the field of Machine Designing.

The environment of the institution is amazing.
The institute has a very well infrastructure.
The faculty here is very helpful abd inspiring.

Dislikes

The hostel mess food is not that great as i was expecting it to be.
We are not allowed to install acs for summers even on out own expences.
The placement statistics is not as appealing.

Placement Experience:

The placement statistics are good but as mentioned earlier that they are not that great. They can be much better may be they will get better in the coming times. The average package is around 800000-900000 per annun.

NIT KKR Overview

I liked the campus there, it is very green and well maintained.
I loved hostel facilities especially in girls hostels except the mess .
I loved the environment there, seniors are really nice to their juniors and the campus is 100% bullying free.

Dislikes

I disliked the mess food . The quality and food choice is not up to the mark.
their is restriction that girls are not allowed to go out of their hostel premises after 8:30 in the evening.
the schedule and class timings are quite hectic.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for campus placements . Various top companies like samsung amazon google etc visit here and make good offers with whopping salaries. Highest package this year was 1.25 cr pa and lowest was 4 lpa. More than 75% of students get placed here. my plans are to continue my masters abroad.

You will have an amazing campus life here, and You can capture memories from this institute. Various programs are conducted and have many clubs, crews, magazine festivals, societies, etc.
You can make a lot of friends but make sure to choose wisely for your well-being
The hush-green campus is incredible, giving off a calm and peaceful atmosphere.
The college is well equipped and has good infrastructure. The students have access to playgrounds, swimming pools, etc

The academic structure has entirely changed after the appointment of the new director, which is interesting and beneficial to the students.
This institute has an amazing library with a rich collection of books and periodicals
The faculty support is commendable here and this institute has an abundant alumni network
The new syllabus is good, which ensures full concentration towards internship during the sixth semester and students do not get pressurised by unnecessary exams
