Life in Dr. YSP University Solan

Faculty:

The faculty to student ratio is about 1 professor for about about 50 students . The faculty is approachable and also co-operative with students and provide help and support to students wherever necessary. The exams are conducted semester wise . There is mid term, practical examination and end term also and the result is based on further compiling all 3 of these. The courses are basic and easy but there are some cources which are complex and hard . About 90% of students clear all the exams

1. There are about 56 teaches and about 700 student in our college 2. Dr . Kamal has very great personality and deep knowlege and teaching style 3.Dr . Vikas chand they are old and only dictate the leactures and have rude behaviour 4. Pere sem there are 10 to 11 courses and there is 8 semester in total

Exam are conducted by the university itself for the normal seats. People who want to opt for the self finacing seats are required to have high percentage of 10+2 level as seats are given on that merit and this self finacing seats are open for all india students where as the exam which is conducted by university is reserved for the himachali bonifide students.Students who want to opt for normal seats are required to appear in ICAR exam and on the basis of that merit normal seats for all india students are given.

The faculty includes a departmental differntiation based on reasearch and academic work by the principle scientists . Asia's first university of horticulture and forestry

The teachers are quite supportive ,they support you in each and every direction either it is academic or non academic.

The faculty is quite good as our college provide us with the facility of advisors.it means that a single teacher is allotted to 10-12 students for 4 years. Advisor is a person who take cares of your academic and non academic activities they make sure that you are doing good in both academic as well as other activities.they also advise you what you should do in future.

Faculty to student ratio is around 2 professors on 100 students but teachers are highly qualified and have a distinct and unique teaching experience of every professor faculty is very approachable if you really want to study every effort from faculty side will be made for your doubt clearance Dr Bhupesh Gupta is one of my favourite teacher Exams are conducted 2 times in an year first mid semester examination of 10-15 marks then practical examination of 40-50 marks along with end sem examination 40-50 that comes from outside

Excellent and average it depends

In bsc the students to faculty ratio is 120\125:1 Faculty is well qualified with good teaching experience with good interaction with students and mentorship. Usually at starting of college degree college offers advisor to students in ratio of 1:10 which mostly solves all the problems related to college and personal life, they serve as a guide and as a advisor.

Every faculty member is selected after an interview which is conducted in front of committee Every position has different eligibility criteria If a teacher is selected for a subject which has to be taught to students,then the eligibility is PHD holder For a lab attendants bachelor's degree is a must Every 40 students have 1 teacher for a class If we've any doubt we can go and ask to the teacher directly They're available everytime During labs they make every possible approach to make it understandable for us I'm in second year some of the experiments are not performed by us but every approach is made to help us to understand

A Comprehensive Review of Horticulture and Forestry University

Faculty members are highly educated and supportive and the curriculum is designed to equip students with practical skills and theoretical knowledge

there is a great variations in faculty to student ratio as the students count is more as compared to teachers because of which the teachers are highly loaded with the course work which affect the performance of a student to excel in a good way. However, the teacher student interactions are not that bad as teachers are available to help in every aspects. teachers are highly educated and skilled in their respective field and they help students to solve their problems related to any realvent subjects. most of the teachers are very friendly in nature and they attend you in very repectful way.
