The hostel offers well-equipped facilities with rooms allocated based on academic level: BSc students share rooms with 3 occupants, MSc and MBA students with 2, while PhD students have single occupancy. Monthly mess bills range from 1500-2000 INR, and semester-wise hostel rent varies from 3000 to 5790 INR. SC/ST students receive a waiver on room rent. The infrastructure includes separate accommodations for boys and girls, with daily cleaning services, electricity, water facilities, and a gym.

Despite the average quality of meals, which sometimes face complaints, the food is generally likened to hotel standards, with weekly menu changes. There is a shortage of water and hostel seats, leading some students to opt for nearby PGs or private hostels. Located on-campus, the hostel is preferred over off-campus options for convenience, although PGs in areas like Nauni, Solan, and Oachghat are available at around 4000 INR per month.

With 24-hour electricity and amenities like fans, almirahs, and common rooms, the hostel provides a conducive living environment for students.
