Friendly staff and teacher and very helping in studies as well as in other activities
The college organise a variety of festivals like annual festival and technical festivals .the campus is well equipped with sports activities .
I had admitted to that university i got selected with a good cut off and i was expected to be.

Dislikes

We have to do penalty of work and study to do
The infrastructure of the college is not so nice.
The local people interrupt in the college activities

Likes

The campus of college is good.there are lots of stuff in which a student can engage
The environment of college is also good .
Availability of stuffs are also good near college.

Dislikes

The education system is the one which needs to be further improved
College should be provided with more laboratories and machines
Roads condition near the college and transportation services should be improved

Course Curriculum Overview:

The love for creating and developing new things has influenced me to choose this course. But I think practical work should be more than theory. New methods should be equipped for teaching. basic requirements should be fulfilled.

I like the college campus the college campus is very good it is situated in Himachal Pradesh environment is very crude than friendly there was a o a t distance for open a theatre and their friendly nature of the teachers
There is a different block of a different branches the vedic is very good hair and the campus is very good the infrastructure is also very good and the technology is also very good
There was a friendly atmosphere in our college because maximum students of from Himachal Pradesh and so we can relate with each other easily and we can so our cultures are same so we can make friends very sleep students from other states also

Dislikes

Some teachers use PPTs for completion of the course which are personal don't like because we cannot understand easily things my person prospective so I don't like this types of things
This is a government call college but the fees is pretty much I think it has to be some less amount because the government colleges less fees I think 28000% approximate is there amount because there was other expenses like for living food etc
The other thing I dislike about a college is that some teachers are not have a friendly nature does not understand students feeling which was my personal respected so I don't like this type of thing seriously

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all we will discuss the aspects of choosing the course I am in mechanical engineering I love the machines we live in India there is a make in India movement which was started by our India govt the we export the things machinery weapons form other countries so we need to make here all things in India to make our country strong and independent . This is job ready course . We do practical work in college and industrial training in industries also which make us job ready so this is very helpful for real world application . The teachers need to make groups of task and do them some group work or task because with group work it build leadership quality which is very helpful in further after completions the course so stop using all time ppt to teach the students . The first of all the there were 2 mst mid sem test before end sem exam the mid sem test was for 2 hours and two exams at single day and countiously three or four days our mst duration without any break and 3 hours final.

Many things I liked such as college faculty and students and extracurricular activities and festivals

Dislikes

I disliked that the student have less interaction with others

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies like tata , google, ITC , reliance etc. around 20 students placeed every year. Highest is 1200000 per annum was offered for textile student and average is around 500000 per annum. Around 7 cgpa students get placement. My plan is to crack gate examination after degree

Likes

The collage has reputation and it is good
The teachers are good the labs are also good there are many machines for students to learn
The fees is affordable as compared to other engineering collages

Dislikes

The placement is not that good for civil and mechanical
The food quality of the hostel is not that good
The collage do not have a basketball court

Placement Experience:

The campus placement for computer science and textile are good some students of textile got 11 lpa compus package and many students also clear govt exams from this collage the placements for civil and mechanical are less but they are not zero

Likes

In jngec seniors are very supportive when it comes to academics
In this college there is no ragging or bullying
Academics is strength of this college as teaching is excellent

Dislikes

Non availability of much space for bigger sports which need bigger grounds
Mess food is not that good in this college
Placements of branches other than textile branch is poor

Btech courses here in this college are relevant .curriculum is followed strictly . Matching with college curriculum is a good push towards achieving nice cgpa.frequecy of exams - two mid sem exams are conducted and after this an end sem theory and practical exams

PROS AND CONS OF OUR COLLEGE

Likes

Infrastructure is good and the virtual classrooms
Teaching faculty, supporting teachers .
Greenery of our college , location is too much beautiful

Dislikes

Some things are not working in some labs
Drinking water issue in lecture theatre block
Sone things are not working properly in classrooms. .

I HAVE A INTREST IN ROBOTIC SO I CHOOSE THE MECHANICAL BRANCH AS MY FUTURE. IMPROVEMENT IS REQUIRED IN THE SYLLABUS TO UPGRADE IT AND TEACH ALL THE NEW THINGS WHICH ARE PRESENT IN TODAY'S WORLD. THEY GIVES 3HRS FOR THE EXAM AND THE EXAM IS QUITE EASY

I like good facilities,teaching , spots facilities
there is open air theatre as well in the campus
Full staff , fee structure fees is very affordable

Dislikes

Some what less opportunity for the placement especially for civil
9 to 4 time table , also there is no 5 day week
Electrical engg is not here this trade can also be added in future

I choose the Civil Engineering because I have interest in this field .The teaching method is good here nd course subject is good as well There will be two mid term exam in a semester and one end semester exam

Likes

I like everything in my university. I like the campus of he University and the faculty members with their teaching method .
I like the faculty of the university.all the teachers are so good and intelligent.
I like the functions organized by the University because it improves our knowledge.

Dislikes

There is nothing which I dislike about my university.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the campus placement from 6th semester. Many companies visit in the college. Like naggaro,Amazon , Google,pisoft etc. Many students gets placement according to their eligibility. About 80% students gets placement Firstly I will try for the campus placement and off campus placement as well. Then I will give my GATE. Exam and then will study for M TECH.

Nice and Enjoyable 4 years experience

Likes

The college library is very nice and having every type of books.
the annual events and sports day are very enjoyable and exciting to watch.
The college canteen is also superbb having delicious foods.

Dislikes

the college is at a hill top, climbing everyday is stressful.
The college lift also dont work everyday.
there are no placements and job oppurtunites.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the course because I was interested in electronics and wanted to study and explore various fields in it. Faculty in every department is highly qualified and very interactive. teaching methods are good. There are two sessional tests that are unit tests and very semester-end has final papers that are moderate to pass.
