Likes

Friendly staff and teacher and very helping in studies as well as in other activities
The college organise a variety of festivals like annual festival and technical festivals .the campus is well equipped with sports activities .
I had admitted to that university i got selected with a good cut off and i was expected to be.

Dislikes

We have to do penalty of work and study to do
The infrastructure of the college is not so nice.
The local people interrupt in the college activities

My college

Likes

Girls to boys ratio is 1:3..my class has 22 boys and rest are girls
The campus is comparatively smaller than a private school... campus is not much bigger
Teachers are well educated and well behaved. They don't interfere with the external matters of students

Dislikes

There are 4 floors in the college but there is no lift
There are no ground for playing games and for physical activities
There is no facility of hostel in the college campus

Placement Experience:

Our college provide only 1-2 companies for the placement...which preferred only those students who are willing to work in the production of the pharmaceuticals in the industry....i want to go to heigher studies...like masters degree and then phd The highest package our college offer is 2.5 lakh per year

It was nice remebering my college life after a long time

Enviroment around my college is really good
Teaching staff is top notch they are professional tutors
Food around the college is osm i really enjoy my meals

Dislikes

Practically knowledge is not provided to students they only taught us theoritical part
College is in interior so we have to take an private taxi to reach to college
No sports related activities held in our college

I was interested in electronics and communication and there was a boom in this field in those days so i choose ece Curriculum does not help me in real world applicatoln Area of improvement student must be provided with practical knowledge Exam were conduct in semester in every 6 months yearly

The principal of our college Dr.Vinod kumar gautam I want to thank him always as he is the one who supports us always encouraged us towards study.
Education system of our college Shiva institute of pharmacy is very much good and it makes a huge difference from other colleges as per our faculty not only appreciates study but also appreciates sports and other activities too.
Always maintains rule and regulation which helps the student to become a confident and disciplined person in life as well.

Dislikes

There is nothing as such disliking about our college .

Course Curriculum Overview:

B pharm directly surrounds around medicine , doctor and patient . Doctor can cure the patient but it is only possible if pharmacist can discover , manufacture and dispense medicines. So , to save the lives of people this is one of the major course. This helps me to know my actual strength that how I can change the things to cure a person.

Campus is very beautifull very big campus it's in mountain so view is attractive
Faculty is very supportive they help me in each phase of every sem
I am enjoying my collage life hostel are well maintained here

Dislikes

Less accessible internet connection we find difficulty while studying
Mess food is very bad sometimes we are not able to eat mess food and timings are very strict
Very less accessible area for transportation we have to spend alot to react the city

Course Curriculum Overview:

Collage carriculam is according to aict sallabus is up to date they are teaching us emerging technologies like ai ml and many more as well and they are also providing hand on live classes . Exam are very though to pass here as our board is hptu so it's under government so it's very though.

Exploring my college

Likes

College staff and their behaviour towards children
College infrastructure is very good it is very big and students have all their basic needs
students are also good in college . Students are helpful and brilliant in studies and other activities

Dislikes

college road is not good when rain happen in rainy season road get closed
we don't have ground in our college . College ground is far from our college
fest is not regular in college. It happen in only time in our college since i am studying

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curricuum not too good and not too bad it is average . College can have improvements in teaching scheme and they can do better in some field . Exams are taken in good manner and we get enough time to prepare but sem is slightly short it is only of 3 months

Likes

Good campus with wide range of course avaliable
College was away or city hassle thus easier for study
College faculty was very good and experienced

Dislikes

Placement was the main issue in the college
There was hectic study schedule and attendance was necessary for final exams
There were very fewer options for scholarship

Course Curriculum Overview:

There was good opportunity in the govt sector which made me to choose thsi course. There were on field practicals which helps in the future. Improvement which can be done is giving more practical knowledge than books. In a year there two times when final exmas were held one in january and one in july.

Likes

Environment is very good. It is near to the mountains.
Teacher faculty is good. All teachers are helpful.
The campus is big. It is near to my home.

Dislikes

The teacher faculty is less than expected.
Campus is very big but the student population is very low.
There is no cafe, and auditorium and there is no gym.

Placement Experience:

The collage offer the campus placement but I want out campus placement because the campus placement for this collage is very low and I want good placement and so I will apply for our campus placement.

Boys and girls also take part in all types of activities like sports , dancing and singing etc .
Campus of your college is very good and big .

There is many less events held our college

Placement Experience:

Placement of our college is very good . Every year there is lot of students got placement . 7 , 8 semester students are eligible for the placement . Tvs company company come every year and other company also come .

Life of a Student at JNGEC Mandi

One of the things I liked was the behaviour of the faculty , they are very motivated and disciplined,they make sure that the student work hard towards achieving their goals.
The campus life is quite good and the boys and girls are very friendly and cheerful.
The girls to boys ratio is also quite higher than some other engineering colleges.The girls to boys ratio in my batch is 20:43

Dislikes

One of the things that I disliked was that the campus is in very hilly area and the students have to climb some 750 meter to reach the college everyday for 6 consecutive days.
The campus size is also not very large due to its location in hilly area.
There is also not cricket or football ground in our college , only badminton and volleyball is preferred by the college students.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placements in the eighth semester itself.the name of the companies which recently visited our campus was pie infocomm and reliance industries and aarti international ltd.etc. and the placements average is 3 to 5 lpa but the placements of textile branch was very high , going over 18 lpa. Almost 80% of the students gets placed during the placements. My plan is to go abroad to Japan for my further studies.

Overall a decent college, better than any other government college in himachal pradesh

Likes

Teachers are quite helpful of applied as well as core branch , they are always ready for helping students , faculty is awesome
The infrastructure is quite beautiful, it is located at some height so it provides awesome views of mountains and the city
Our college provides awesome placements especially in textile branch, the highest package was 12.8 lpa and average package is from 9 to 11 lpa in textile , textile is one of the best branch in our college with 99% placements rate.

Dislikes

Though I'm not a hosteller but my friends who loves in hostels often complains about the bad quality of mess food, mess food can be not good
The elevator doesn't work , and we have to use stairs to climb six floors for our class
There is no big playground for sports like cricket or football, there is only a volleyball ground and a badminton court, which is not good for football lovers especially

The placements of my college is very good in terms of textile engineering they offer and average package of around 10 to 11 lpa the highest package that has ever reached is 12 lpa in my college ,talking about the other branches the placements in other branches are not so good but still many companies visit our college offering and average package of around 4 lpa especially in electronics and communication branch. The placements of CSE(AI-ML) is not recorded because computer science engineering is a completely new branch in this college and is established only 3 years ago.
