From 8 semester student go to do their internship and after that they are eligible for campus placement Many companies like ultratech and many local companies visited in my college Highest package is around of 7 lakh and average is 2.5lakh 30 percent students are placed I must pursue for mtech after getting degree

The course curriculum in terms of relevence is good as I chose civil engineering because my dad is an civil engineer too so I was influenced by childhood to be an civil engineer. The college provides us good educational courses.

As i am a civil student and jngec clg has a good reputation for civil students but there are not much placements in our college...for best placement upto 18lpa you can take textile course as it is the only one college in whole himachal with this course ....and due to its scarcity, placements are high in textile.

Some of the companies come but they don't offer you satisfied pakage u have to do it your self and in my opinion u should not go for campus placement because they don't offer you good level of work. You should always try to find placement your self

Curriculum is nice. Time table is good but college off timing is 4pm. And they don't free students if teacher is not there for their class. They don't allow application if student is not in college that's very wrong

Not gonna lie, i didn't even knew that there lies a course named electronics and communication untill the very end of my decision. As most of the students choice nowadays, my mind was also set on computer science. But as i looked into this particular course, it contained all the subjects and topics that i hated. And they say that you should do what you hate the most because you have the least knowledge about it. So you start at the beginning. I think the semester could be a little longer. Because it feels like every semester is just of 4 months tops and the rest is exams and few holidays.

I choose civil engineering because my family background is in civil and I really get fascinated by the making of houses roads etc JNGEC is considered to be one of the best government college for civil engineering in Himachal and in civil you can experience and see things you don't have to imagine you can see them in real life and it is really helping like you can see the highways the houses all the things the area that should get improved is that there should be more faculty the faculty available is enough but still and here we have 2 preoricals and internal and external practicals along with final exams in one semester in periodicals we get the paper of 50 marks with 2.5 hours and in finals we get a paper of 60 marks for 3 hours the periodicals are medium tough but the final are sometime tough and sometime easy depends upon your luck

At 7th semester student become eligible for placement.there is placement cell which bring company frim different field to get placed student before pass out.package is not so high but avg package 6 to 7 lakh student get

The curriculum was awesome. I have got to learn a lot during my college days and also I got to explore a lot about my skills and talents due to this curriculum. I appreciate the college small events which help students to showcase their talents and skills.
