NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are almost placed in final year of the course.Companies like CRED,Stryker Corporation,Philips etc. visited the campus for recruitment in 2023.Highest package was of 52 LPA. After getting the degree one can go for higher studies/research etc.

the couse curriculum consists of basic knowledge of mathematicas as well as scientifing computing. exams are conducted at the end of each semester.the curricumum provides various prograsmming knowledge

The course curriculum is very satisfying as in the first year we have to study all the courses. And later on we have to decide where our interest is and what should we prefer. Like in first semester we have to study electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mathematics, engineering drawing, chemistry, environmental and in 2nd semester we have to study mechanical, physics, communication, ethics. The practicals are also very smooth as they offer all round development including the vocational development.

Placement of college is moderate as we are architecture students so placement are provided to students who apply and have the eligibility criteria for the placement , manycompanies like l and t construction and other construction companie recruit architecture students The average placement is 600000 per year

Electrical engineering have a ok ok placement in this college . Even in 2017 there was 100% placement for electrical engineers. Exam level is ok and held twice a semester. All years have different exam timings.

Students in third year get opportunities for internships , And finally, I got opportunity for placements. The percentage of place students is around sixty percent overall, Moreover the highest package is around 1.7 crores and average packags revolves around 15 lacs, my plan is to do mba after degree

Campus placement for core branches is good here. The average package for computer science branch Is near 12-15 lakh every year. In mechanical, electrical and electronics department also the placement is decent. But for other lower branches placement is not that good.

Campus placements of NIT are decent. CSE has an average package of 16 lpa. Other branches average package range from 8lpa to 15lpa.Placement percentage is also decent. You also get opportunity of doing internship in 3rd year

Placements are there for various branches .- company like google ,amazon, Microsoft, ibm comes for placement offering Avg lpa of 15 lakhs. Last year 92% placement was there for computer science branch. The highest package of our campus is 1 crore

Typically, students become eligible for campus placement from the final year or seventh semester onwards, depending upon the specific policies of the institute .there are various companies visit in nit Hamirpur. some common recruitor are multinational corporations, IT firms, consulting companies and startup etc. Some of the companies that are visiting here for campus placement are Accenture, Bloomberg, IBM, Samsung, Oracle and many more. highest package was 1.5cr and average package is 11 lpa . Almost 87% percent students are getting placed . After I get the degree I would like to get a job in a IT company .
