NIT Srinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

NIT Srinagar is in Kashmir which is Heaven in INDIA which was one my dream place to visit once, During my school days I dream to study in a college where whenever I open the window of my hostel room then there should be a scenary view of ice mountain, Lake and louds and that was only NIT Srinagar so I chose.

Placements of NIT Srinagar depend on a branch to branch. The placements of CSE and IT branches are too good but if we talk about the placements of other core branches like mechanical, electrical, etc are not too good. But there are average. Like 17 students were placed out of 58 students in the mechanical branch. Companies visited were BYJUS, TATA, L&T, Angloeastern, etc. From the 7th semester, college placements get started. The highest package for the 2020 batch was 20 LPA and the average package was 8 LPA.

After 3 rd year, you can sit on placement but there is less placement in the civil branch but there is a good offer for cs, it,ece students. But all are placed off campus if you have potential. In the civil branch one time a 54 lakh placement is done.

Students are eligible for campus placements in their 4th year ie. 7-8th semester. All the major recruiters like TCS, Infosys, IBM, Samsung, L&T, Lowes, GAIL, NHPC, and many Govt. PSUs visit the campus for recruitment. A product-based giant like Microsoft has also visited the campus for placement. Average Package of all the branches is around 6-7 lac and for CS/IT the avg package is 11-12 lacs. The highest package last year was of 22 lacs offered by GAIL India to a student from mechanical engineering. 3 students from CS/IT and one from ECE were offered a package of 19 lacs by Lowes India. Many students go for higher studies to top foreign Universities and some in India's top Institutes.

With my jee rank I was selected for mechanical branch in NIT and I thought NIT is very popular and generally girls don't opt for this course and I have a interest in mechanical field d so I decided to opt this course.

May be 7th semester. The highest package was 27 lakh and Avery package was about 10 lakh package .

Government institute with a good reputation and highly qualified teachers are there with lot facilities and advanced technologies feast are also there and college is having a good placement with alot of skillful students teachers and departments.

Yes, Jee Mains exam about it I have already discussed above.Admission in my college is based on jee main exam rank which conducts twice in a year in jan. And aprill. After the result there is counslling process which is conducted by jossa in this there is 7round and after this there is some seat vaccent so that for those seats there is csab round 1st and second round. After these things there is physical reporting at college. There your document will clearfy. As I said my college is a national level college so that there is lots of scholarships by that you can less your tution fee if you come in sc st category then your tution fee is zero. If your fathers income is less than 1lakh your tution fee will zero. If your fathers income is 1-5lakh then your tution fee will be 25% of 62500 per semester there is 8 semester.

Climatic conditions are cool and dry. I love that kind of climate and if one is willing to go for further studies, this University gives us ample of free time to increase our skills and improve our Hobbies. Hence, it is known as Heaven on earth
