NIT Srinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The percentage of students getting placements depends on Branch. Students from computer science and engineering as well as from i technology department got got high placements approximately 70-80% but in other branches it is low approx 40-50%

Campus placement is good but this year's placement is good enough. This year 80% of students are placed who applied for placements. After 6th sem, students are eligible for placements . I'll go either with higher studies or completion Preparation

Students become eligible from 7th semester. There are many offers from many companies like Samsung,Amazon,google etc so best in terms of placements. My plan is doing Ph.D. after btech Almost 350 students have got placed.

Students get placed on campus after the 7th semester. Various PSUs, tech companies like Samsung etc offer on campus placements. This year, a CSE student got 50lpa placement offers from Samsung. Last year, Mechanical student got 22lpa.

From 3rd year onwards one can take placements and work. Campus placements are Average and good no. of offers are made to students every year. Highest package is 32 lpa and 8lpa is average its various from year to year. More than 75% of students get placed in the 4th year. I will go for government jobs after the course completion.

After 5th semester we can sit in placements drive. Many companies visit nit srinagar like Infosys, Tcs, wipro, l and t, etc. highest package in this year was 30lpa and avg package is about 5 LPA. Around 40% of students are getting placements. Rest are approaching to higher studies by cracking GATE.

placements is average in our college. companies like Samsung tcs tata optimum visits for the recruitment. also, i think many companies will not like to go very far from their office as Srinagar is located in Jammu and Kashmir and we all know what perspective we all have about this state in our head. The highest placement offer is 72 lakhs for our college and the average is about 7-8 lakhs. This year almost all the students from cse branch have been placed and this is remarkable. if not on campus then i will go for campus opportunities and try to grab that for my survival that's it nothing more i have in my future plans.

NIRF RANKING and overall nice collegeIt is within 26 college of NIT that are CFI that is centrally funded institute.I as belong to the same state was more comfortable with the climate also to my knowledge it was only few of NIT which gives course in electronics and communication. More to it u have overall great understanding of the industries as 3 month of winters and a month long summer break is given
