NIT Srinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 7th semester, the students are eligible for placement and for mechanical engineering the companies like ONGC GAIL BHEL TATA e.t.c will recruit students with good packages the highest package is 22 lakhs offered by GAIL and the average package is 7.83 lakhs per annum. My plans to secure a government job

End of the 6th semester or starting of the 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies visit here every year some popular companies are Amazon, Samsung, and Microsoft, and also some PSU are GAIL, BHEL, OIL, etc HCL, Sigmoid, HDFC, Byjus, Tech Mahindra, Tata Motors, and much more. The highest package till now is 72 LPA and the average Package is 13 LPA. Almost all students from each branch get placed and some students opt for higher studies like Mtech. My plan after getting the degree is to do a job for a few years to understand the work and techniques and to make my base strong and then start my own startup.

This year 2022 the highest package offered was 42 lakhs per anum from cse and IT branch and around 8.2 lakh per anum was the average package and lowest package of 5 lakh per anum is offered. Placement is offered from companies like Google, Microsoft, Bhel etc. College is getting better day by day as placement was increasing each year as 2021 the highest package was 22 lakh but this year 2022 we have 42 lakh package. Every student who opted for placement got offer from companies. You can also pursue higher studies like Mtech or any other degree. Or UPSC &IES exam etc. Around 15 % students opted for higher studies. My aim to get good placement so i will go for placement.

Placement is offered from companies like Google, Microsoft, Bhel etc. College is getting better day by day if we talk about the place. You can also pursue higher studies like Mtech or any other degree. Or UPSC &IES exam etc. Our branch ( ME) has also good placement, with 22 lakh highest package and 3 lakh lowest package. About 70 % have opted for placement and about 67% got placement.

In the University there were a lot of events which had happened in the University. However, when our University had organised events then participation from Schools, Colleges, and Universities had participated in the University. The campus was a facility rich place and there was a lot of exposure.

The course Curriculum of my branch i.e. IT is very good. My faculty members are also friendly and supportive in nature. They arrange extra classes for doubt sessions and also solve doubts. I chose IT because I want to go into the IT field for jobs. The student ratio is also good. The faculty members are well qualified and their teaching methods are also very good. Our term exams are according to the academic calendar.

Teachers are well qualified and enough knowledgeable. Even in online classes teachers were always there to help us. Teaching quality is upto the mark. A good student to faculty ratio. From third semester, college starts making students industry ready. Semester exams are not that difficult bit neither too easy

Avg placement is done in college almost 50% of students get placement and in good branches like CS IT ECE, it rises to 80% rest students choose higher studies and prepare for GATE. Overall placement is satisfactory. I am looking for placements after my degree.

Our college is among the top NITs and the placement of our college is also top-notch. The college offers very good placement packages and provides very good professional opportunities. The college placement committee works as the motivation support system for us during the college placement drive. The highest salary offer was around 24 LPA and the average salary package was 13 LPA.
