IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Earth science branches here are very good and have perfect 100 percent placements in some branches which are underrated also, Many companies come here like Google, Microsoft, and core companies. Girls have many opportunities and many companies come to recruit many girls like, Ubershe etc.

The course curriculum in IIT is not that much hectic, but yes the competition is so much to survive in any IIT that it feels sometimes really hard to cover everything. Now talking about the faculty, they are highly qualified and one of the best in the country. The faculty-to-student ratio is somewhat around 1:60, but it varies for different IITs.Professors try their best to make us understand each topic, but yes there are exceptions everywhere. One can't expect that you will not need the help of other resources after listening to the lectures of Prof. Now coming to the term exams, in my college two quizzes are conducted and one mid-term and one end-term examination in one semester, which is not that hectic.

The placements are really good. almost everyone gets placed. I would say that branch matters. it just makes the process easier. There are companies covering a variety of profiles. just get to know what interests you and go for it.

placements are good for all branches but they are exceptionally good for branches like petroleum engineering, and mining, and the intern history is good, and many opportunities in the non-core sector. nearly 70% of students get placed.

The placement culture is healthy in our college. The steady competition among students helps them in achieving placements at a greater level compared to other colleges. The placement and the Intern season are actively awaited by students.

The faculty members are amazing and pay full attention to all my questions. The courses are really interesting and keep us updated with modern problems and their solutions. Overall I really feel this Course will help me out.

Placements are quite good but the quality is decreasing year by year. Google, sprinkler, salesforce, etc. Visited our campus on day 0 which is quite amazing. The highest package is offered by GOOGLE which is 56 lakh inr and the average package of IIT(ISM) DHANBAD is 8 lakh inr.

Students from the 8th semester get eligible for placements, however right from the start of the 5th semester, they can go for intern and then try for pre-placement offers. There are 150+ companies visiting the campus for every branch and almost every company gives a job offer. The highest package is something around 60 lpa with a average package around 20-25 lpa. Students from every branch get decent placement. To go for a government job.

The placement record of IIT ISM Dhanbad is very good. In the 2023 placement season, 1,082 students out of 1,154 registered students were placed. The highest salary package offered was INR 56 LPA and the average salary package was INR 16.98 LPA.

After clearing the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. companies visited. In my college highest package was 46 lacs and the average package was 20 lacs.
