IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The students can get PPOs from the 3rd Year and placements from the 4th Year. Most of the top companies in India do visit for on-campus placements. The highest package last time was off campus at 3 Cr per year. The average package is about 13 LPA. The placement percentage is quite good depending on a branch like MNC had a 100% placement. I plan to get a few years of job experience and then pursue an MBA

The campus placement is decent but very poor compared to other IITs. A student is eligible to sit for campus placements from the final year of the degree. The percentage of students getting a place is around 80%.

The placements are quite decent in the college and as an iit , this clg currently holds nirf 17 (around) and is a very good internship chances. Many more companies visit for the placements and internships and many get high packages and some get avg packages around 20LPA

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Tata Motors, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, IBM, Samsung, etc. visited our institute. The highest package offered was 56 lakhs per annum. The average package stood at 17.3 lakh per annum. On average 75% of students were getting placements.

I chose this course because I was interested in the technical field, and this was the best college where I was getting a circuital branch. The faculty-student ratio at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad is generally competitive, ensuring that students have access to their professors for academic support and guidance. It is about 1:10 overall. The faculty at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad typically consists of highly qualified and experienced professors. They often have impressive academic credentials and may be actively involved in research projects. IIT (ISM) Dhanbad typically maintains a structured academic calendar, ensuring that term exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level of exams can vary.

I chose this course as this is the best option I got in JoSAA counseling. Computer Science and Engineering is my first choice. So I got it here. Faculty are all aptly qualified and some even go further in pursuing research and winning awards at the international level. Exams were like, well, more knowledge-based than memory based same way as the other IITs.

From the 7th semester they are available. Google Microsoft Golmann Sacha every big company that you can think of. On campus placement highest was around 50LPA while 19-20 LPA is the average in total. Almost 90% of students get place.

The campus placements are decent. Many big companies come to our college both in core and non-core. The average package is around 18 lacs. CSE has 27-28 lacs, MnC (Integrated MTech) has 30 lacs, ECE 24-25 place, and EE 21-22 lacs. However, placements in petroleum, mining, and other branches are great (18-20 lacs average). The placements for core branches like Mechanical, and Chemical are average. We have decent internship opportunities. There's a lot of potential for placements and internships but the only drawback is the location of Dhanbad which makes it difficult for more big recruiters to visit the college.

From the 5th semester onwards, students become eligible for on campus internships. A no of companies visit the campus including Google, Microsoft, Walmart, Amazon, Coal India, Flipkart, PhonePe pe, etc. The highest package is 56 lakh and average package is 17.3 lakhs. The profiles offered include analyst, software development engineer, consultant roles, Product manager roles etc. Almost 90% are placed in on campus placements. Getting an on campus good placement.

The placements of the college are really wonderful with avg package of 17.3 lakhs. All the top companies such as Google, Microsoft, Jaguar Land Rover, etc. visit the campus with the highest package of 50 lakhs.
