It's always dream like to study in IITs as they provide you opportunity at every single step to nourish yourself in everything. Ism have everything to make yourself best. They give you opportunity to come in front grab things and lead. With it's alumni base you can ask any kind of help from industry veterans.overall personality after passing through ism will be thousand times different .

I have only positive remarks about our college. There is a rule in our college. If any junior is found having something in any restaurant or hotel or canteen seniors should even pay for him. The sports, labs and extracurricular activities here are very good. We have almost all types of sports. We even have a swimming pool and squash court. The labs here are great. The lab devices and instruments are in good working condition.

The positive thing about college is the environment here is very friendly. The pressure of studies is less compared to other colleges. From curricular activities, it is also rated as good. But on the other side, the negative thing is the faculty here is not good. There so many corruption & politics inside.

My Conclusion- College has 90 years old rich Legacy and is one of the best engineering colleges in India. Here Mineral, Fuel, Mining, Geology, and Petroleum Engineering Branches are best in India and have very good Global recognition.

IIT is not what you think. It is just the stepping stone. It all depends on how you turn this stone.

overall good but the city is not good also you can get good jobs from college.

1st cons.- 1) in ISM DHANBAD's air procrastination (matiyana) is mixed. 2) mess food is not very good Pros 1) you are studying in IIT College which is the best college in India. 2) college is situated in the center of Dhanbad, unlike other colleges which are situated outskirt of the city.

College management is filled up with dishonest, corrupt people (bare a few). Now that the director has changed, hope that it gets better for the incoming students. B.tech students enjoy life here. M.tech students, not so much.

My overall experience in this college has been quite moderate till date. One of the biggest problems one will face is that the library, computer centre and the student activity centre are not operational 24/7 till date, Another problem is never ending construction work is quite nagging and the continuous motion of the heavy vehicles due to that construction throughout the campus makes the campus appear more or less like an under-construction site than a college. Good college, Equipped with moderate infrastructure, which is in a state of progress. Placements are good. Opportunities are available in different fields but you will have to grasp them without procrastination.
