IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The college has been well managed. It provides the students with the environment where one can pursure his/her field of interest.

No there is no bad remarks I can give for college management.

Management system is not so well oriented, Its is quite satisfying.

Few good remarks about IIT Dhanbad are that, it is old and prestigious and has its own renowned reputation. It stands as number one college for earth science in India. Well few bad things about IIT Dhanbad is its administration is weak and quite ineffective, further as it recently got the IIT tag so it will still need time to establishment its name in field of core branches.

I qualified JEE Mains examination and qualified for JEE Advanced examination. Through JEE Advanced, I made it to this college. I secured AIR 7125 and was offered Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering in this college. I opted for this college, because it is a reputed college and holds the IIT tag.

I attended IIT-JEE-2010 and scored AIR 5065, I also Attended AIEEE-2010 and scored AIR 4725 and state(M.P.) Rank 308. Qualified PET(M.P. State Engineering) with 171 rank . but Joined CSE at Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad because ISM being one of the premier institute of country with record of serving nation since 1926, made me opt fr ISM.

GATE Score: 541 ,ISM Entrance Examination, Rank 1. I did my post graduation M. Tech from this university and also wanted to continue my project, so I applied for the Ph.D program here.

The college is very very good one can enjoy and learn many thing but some negative things like placement for MBA is not as good as for engineering life is very good there.

Links with private sector especially for MBA will make placements more smooth and will provide students with more opportunities.

The mess facility here is not up to the mark and hostel facilities are just fine.
