- The course outlines were well defined and taught
- The faculty was very helpful especially during final exams.
- The clubs were also very active and very encouraging
Dislikes
- Some course outlines for a few subjects were not helpful in preparing for final exam
- Some faculty made life harder by being extra strict for no reason
- The attendance was very strict and was used against you if you misbehave
Placement Experience:
Students will become eligible for placement from the 5th semester.
Many companies like Nomura, TCS, Futures First, Deloitte, DE Shaw, Nielsen IQ, Zomato, Tres Vista, etc. come for placements. The number of students they recruit depends on the requirement. Some companies come for mass hiring of about 40-60 students while some only hire 3-4 students.
The highest package offered was 23LPA but the average packages were 4-6LPA.
Around 40-60% of the students get placed by the time they graduate. But placement opportunities still come after graduation.
I do not plan on sitting for placements as I wish to pursue my career in acting after graduation.

Placement Experience:
The placements at my college are quite strong, with many well-known companies visiting the campus regularly. The college has a dedicated placement cell that provides support in terms of resume buliding, interview preparation and connecting students with potential employers. Students in my college are eligible from third semester onwards. Companies like goldman sachs, infoedge make offers.

- The courses very unique as a teachers, a lot of components of the real world like media planning, and advertising
- The professors are very professional and do a good job at teaching the students and catering to their needs
Dislikes
- There is no Campus life, they make a sit in the Mithibai building and it does not give a good college
- While registering for the college, they were only photos of the new class building, and everyone Under the impression that they will be seated in the glass building itself
- There are some teachers that are not quite experienced and some parts of the course that is not fun at all and applicable in real life
Placement Experience:
The college has a very active placement committee and there are a lot of offers coming in Delhi for students for internships

- The faculties are experts in their field and willing to help you beyond classrooms. You can work alongside a faculty to publish research papers, articles, etc.
- The campus has great infrastructure and is well equipped with labs, Wi-Fi, high-tech classrooms, canteen, security, etc.
- The bsc finance course is structured in a way to help you set a base for CFA level 1. So anyone interested in finance would be a good fit.
Dislikes
- Nmims is very strict about it's attendance policy. You must maintain 85% attendance. This restrictions may not allow you to take up internships while studying.
- The campus has no facilities for sports. The physical health of students might be neglected due to this.
- Sometimes all the pressure can be hectic for students. Although there are various student wellbeing resources on campus the peer pressure may affect your mental health.
Placement Experience:
Nmims has a record of its stellar placements, the average placement for bsc finance is around 10-12 lpa. The placement season begins from your 5th semester itself.
Mostly bsc finance students pursue a career in investment banking, private equity, equity research, consulting, etc.
Many big giants come to nmims to recruit our students.
Also, many students also decide to pursue higher education from reputed universities both in india and abroad.

- Good campus and good people. The canteen is also very nice
- Prime location, located at a very posh place, easy to commute
- Faculty is educated and well versed with their courses.
Dislikes
- There is no campus life, since it's Mumbai there isn't a big campus where students could relax
- Some of the faculty is not very good, though they are in the minority
- Administration is sometimes slow and unresponsive
Course Curriculum Overview:
I would rate it about 6/10 because of the low credit subjects being an integral part of the curriculum, if more focus was shifted on core subjects the curriculum would be way nicer than it is right now

- they don't provide internship as this is the new course introduced in this college

i like drawing so i went for animation and vfx
they tell us alot of stuff from the industry beacuse the teachers worked there for years so yeah pretty good advice
2 finals exams and class tests depends on the teacher

- The course value is immensely great , as it is a bachelor's in science course which holds greater value than an arts course in the field of psychology. The curriculum is designed well for psychology students to effectively study the biology of psycho
- The engagement with students and events in the college are at the great level. A lot of emphasis is placed on extracurriculars and other events.
- The course is designed in a way that it is not an overload for the students and manageable to study effectively
Dislikes

The course outline is designed to be really well. For the field of psychology, course of bsc are not vastly present in the country and nmims being one of the few which offers such a course has an advantage. The course is designed well and overall follows a structured approach. It gives comprehensive knowledge of the science side of psychology and unlocks a lot of new opportunities for future ventures

- The main thing i like about nmims is the exposure it gives to students through various clubs and committee
- The fest and party life is very happening in nmims
- It enhances ur leadership and communication skills by various presentations projects back to back
Dislikes
- Attendance is very strict. 80% mandatory
- Study is very strict and passing is not easy
- Placement is not good for engineering students
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course is designed well. More or less it includes a introduction of every topic that can be beneficial in real life job but it doesn't cover any topic very deeply just gives u a brief also exam timings are not every good. It gives very less gap between each exams increasing the failure ratio.

- There is network issue in college for jio sim users.
- Timings are mid morning to evening occupying whole day nigher lleavimg time in evening or morning for self study.
- Attendance policy is very strict so you should have good addendance for sitting in term end exam.
Placement Experience:
We become eligible for placement from 4th year.
Name pf companies visited are Amazon,Oracle,Goldman Sachs,Jws etc.Higest package is 1.2cr average package is 12lac pa.Almost all students get placed some don't because of thier low cgpa.I will persue an mba and do business.

my College ensure that we students study psychology and practice it in our life as well we have practical's which help us build rapport and confidence from now on words which is great for our future
i don't think we have difficult exams mostly our exams are based on our thinking so it's easy

What are the reviews for the NMIMS Mumbai hostel for girls and the Sanghavi hostel for MBA girls?

NMIMS hostel facility includes two full-fledged hostels and three rented residential accommodations that are taken care by the university in Mumbai, separately for boys and girls. The students admitted are given preference on a first come first basis; and preference is given to students from outside of Mumbai to the hostel. The girls' hostels are provided with all the modern amenities, good nutritious food and purified drinking water facilities. Most of the rooms are triple sharing and have a separate washroom inside the room. The rooms are big and spacious with box beds. Each bed is provided with a study table, chair, and a personal almirah. The only odd thing is that despite being MBA hostel, it has a curfew.
You cannot get inside the hostel after 11PM unless you have a valid reason with enough proof.

If you attend this college, you'll find that it caters to an expensive, cushy, rich crowd. However, whether or not you actually learn anything will be up to you, as the classes can be quite lax. You'll need to maintain 805 attendance, which is compulsory.
On the bright side, the teachers are good and there are decent placement opportunities, especially when compared to other colleges. There are also various opportunities available, but keep in mind that money talks here, so be prepared to fend for yourself. The course itself is okay, much like most engineering colleges, but the labs and equipment are good and the infrastructure is solid.
Overall, if you choose to attend this college, you'll find that it's like any good engineering college with a higher fee. Just remember to stay focused and take advantage of the resources available to you. With hard work and dedication, you can succeed and thrive in this environment.
