Likes

I like our teacher they're kind and very good at teaching
Fests are , masquerade night,dj night hled 1 time in 3to 4 month,and other festivals like varsity weeks,for playing games such like ,cricket,football, volleyball,and other games,liker kabbaddi , campus experience are very good
The teachers are very friendly and knowledgeable and very enthusiastic.

Dislikes

Hostel seats are limited therefore you cannot guarantee to get a seat in the first year.
The admission process was quite easy but the payment was problem.
Our website is not that strong so i have to pay multiple time for it to work

Things you should know about Anthony's college

Likes

It has personality development class which is called as Value education classes
The college week is my favourite it allow us to get out of our confort zone
The NSS club it is a very useful programme and the PO's are very Good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Their teaching style Very systematic Friendly environment It gives us a lot of opportunities and it prepares us to tackle university exams as well as for entrance exams Improvements: To reduce the number of students in one class The exams difficulty I would say 5/10

I like to being part of these college because it nature good environment to study here everything is in good condition
The professor uses english language to contact with every student and more .
You can see different types of people from different states over here and nature friendly and eco friendly environment to study so it's a good place to the one who wants to study.

Dislikes

There is not much to dislike for these college everything is smooth and steady
Partiality between the students for their own states
Hostels water problem is main problem over here .

Course Curriculum Overview:

For take decision to choose your course it's depend on the students which are good at like for I prefer chemistry is good to me so I choose it the teacher are good in teaching and all are well trained teachers good in explanation and everything is good in all aspects. The timing for exams is 3 hours you neeed to complete between these time

Likes

The line the campus which is near and ocean and fresh
I like the library which is good and the garden fulk of flowers
I like the faculty members too they’re kind and good

Dislikes

I dislike the principal she roams around and scold us for our dress code
I dislike the college canteen food so bad it is
There is no sports no gym there should be

There should be lots of books in the library that we don't go searching at some other places a the food of the canteen should be improved and hygienic too. No specific aspects that encourage me to take up this a I was always interested in it

A brief dive in NEHU.

Likes

NEHU campus is very huge and very natural so it’s a very good place if you really wanna focus in your studies since it’s very quiet also.
The university holds varsity month and it’s the best time of the year.
The professors are very friendly and they’ll help you Upto whatever they can.

Dislikes

The marking system in Nehu is very strict so it’s kinda hard to score high marks.
Even though the campus is huge and pretty, it’s not well maintained.
The university library isn’t open 24x7 so many people complain about it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Department of Economics has been one of the best departments in Nehu for years and it has maintain its name and yes it's very hard to get in economics dept as there are thousand of students applying for it.

A detailed review on my college (St Anthony’s,Shillong):pros and cons

Likes

There are many students here from different communities,tribes,and culture which helps unify poeple from different backgrounds
The faculty is nice and the teaching staff is supportive and well trained
The environment of the college is nice with proper balance of both scholastic and co scholastic activities

Dislikes

The fact that the department of fishery science is not recognised by the ICAR is a big setback for the department
There is huge number of group of students from different communities which also result in extreme communalism in some of them
There is a low number of faculty from other communities

The curriculum of my course is pretty good and helpful with proper teaching about the subject, it is also helpful for real-life work and activities with proper hands-in skills teaching and theoretical knowledge. But there is a big setback that it is not recognised by the Indian council of agricultural research(ICAR). Recognition by the ICAR will have a big boost in the course and department

NEHU:A central university with heavenly natural beauty

Likes

I like the environment of the university campus, it's so natural so beautiful....if u want to enjoy nature and study then come to NEHU.....
The professors are friendly and communicative
Dj nights, prom nights and many more you can enjoy here

Dislikes

Lack of maintenance as campus is too big
Classes are currently unavailable as protest is going on in the university due to injustice of vice chancellor
Nothing more to dislike about this university as i have already mentioned two dislikes and that's it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to pursue my masters in central university only that's why I choose to study in this university as it is nearby my hometown and also it's affordable for me.I'm pursuing masters in economics so for me this curriculum prepares me for real world applications or further academic pursuits,as economics is the subject which can be studied for arts, commerce and science background also.We can do MA/BA,B.COM/M.COM or BSC/MSC as it is a all rounder subject.

Likes

the teachers are well educated and they taught well
the compound is very big and large and clean
it is a tobacco free campus and is well maintained

Dislikes

there is no proper facilities and improvement
water and electricity is poor and there is no cooler ot filter
we only have 8 toilets for the whole students which is separated by half for genders

Course Curriculum Overview:

im satisfied with the way we are taught but lots of teachers have to chamge their ways. making a student do works and taking it for attendance when exam is next week ! that is absolutely unexcusable .

Good Environment Good culture Good future

The environment for studies, sports culture and music culture
The academics are good too teachers help students and work on every project related
Clubs for every department to enhance skills and interaction among every one

Dislikes

Administration work delay for many things
Network issues around every corner as the university is situated in the outskirts
Mess food are not good in the hostels for boys as well as girls

Placement Experience:

The campus of the university is overall average. We get packages around 10 LPA but mostly students opt for heigher studies as only 10 -20 percent of students successfully get placed My plans are for masters in technology after the degree . I have appeared for gate and qualified ans i would like to sit for councilling if i get in any good nit or iit

About the NEIAH college life

Likes

Environment of college and location are good
Because of central college fees is to low
Student and senior are very cooperative, ragging free campus

Dislikes

Market are very expensive and the local people are drinking soo much

The curriculum is not decided by the college,it decided by ministry of ayush # curriculum and course are good #in every year u have write 1 university exam and 2 terminal exam # terminal exam is necessary to pass for appearing in university exam for the batch 2023-24

A Student Experience in college days

Likes

The management was good and I appreciate the effort of the college
The campus life was good especially the cafe.
As far as I remember the teachings methods and mentoring was top notch

Dislikes

The one I should say is it's biased for the sports
There is no proper selection for a person to join the college team
I had given trail for consecutive 2years but there is selection for me I was the best player in the pitch but I don't understand their role of selection and no coach didn't tell me my weakness or why I'm not selected

I was impressed by the college background under north east that's the reason why I joined in this college there are no difficult level in any exams because it depends by you only so there is no difficult method or level
