Likes

I like our teacher they're kind and very good at teaching
Fests are , masquerade night,dj night hled 1 time in 3to 4 month,and other festivals like varsity weeks,for playing games such like ,cricket,football, volleyball,and other games,liker kabbaddi , campus experience are very good
The teachers are very friendly and knowledgeable and very enthusiastic.

Dislikes

Hostel seats are limited therefore you cannot guarantee to get a seat in the first year.
The admission process was quite easy but the payment was problem.
Our website is not that strong so i have to pay multiple time for it to work

The facility of the college is really good and pther crariculam activities
The college maintain cleanliness and discipline
The teacher are aslo good and they teach us so well

Dislikes

I think the college campus is quite little comparison to student
And some of the toilet use to smell to bad
And the food of the canteens r not that good according to the price

I like this course because I'm interested on this field abd this field have lot of scopes I think they have focus on the pratical things more thab theoretical and it will be better if they teach us with pratical things The frequency and the timing of exams r perfect according to the marks

The learning process

Likes

The infrastructure is good with 2 basketball courts 1 volleyball court 1 hall , labs , and so many pond in our department
Various opportunities to participate in programs that are not only educational based but lifelong learning based.
Time table is very good and many functions organised .

Dislikes

Communalism as they don’t get along with each other and judge people based on their tribe.
Boys will be boys so I don’t have an explanation for that.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this subject because I love the aquatic life and I am so glad and grateful to be getting the opportunity to be taking this course and I am sure that I will bring so many good changes as I grow and get a job in the future . This course has made me realise there is so much more to than just a fish and not only do I get to study about the fish and the aqua life but also do I get to study some additional subjects that help me come out of my comfort zone and make me see the world beautifully . I get to interact with a lot of people and become confident.

Overview of St. Anthony’s College from an introvert’s perspective

Likes

The best thing about the college is its students! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Even the teachers are very supportive and they put in efforts to make you a better person.
As a student of mass com, practical knowledge was very important for me and I’ve to admit that when I joined college I had just 2% knowledge about the whole media industry and I lacked confidence but when I left Ik I’ll earn a name in this field!
They have studios and cameras and all the equipment that is needed for practical classes with some excellent teachers who is professional

Dislikes

When we say a “college campus”, we actually mean a “campus” but sadly St. Anthony’s doesn’t have a big campus to hang around
THE UNIFORM!! I mean we got lucky somehow but our juniors are wearing uniforms now, and it’s very very sad! We’re not in school anymore, and people from fashion city like Shillong can’t really wear uniforms, it’s like very depressing.
College fun activities could be better and less strict.

There is a placement cell in college, and many students have got some jobs, internships and admission from other colleges / universities but I think they can improve a bit. Until and unless the students doesn't approach by themselves they don't know. Plus, they can have tie up with better companies or organisations.

The truth behind the college

Likes

The teachers are very good and their way how they teach
The labs are good but they should change the computers
Some of the teachers the very good they are supporting

Dislikes

Some of the teachers favour the local students
The facilities are not that good according to the fees
The computers are very slow in the labs they should change it

The course is very good and it is a very job oriented course in this century where everything is going online and slowly artificial intelligence is taking everything in it's control we are very much dependent on AI

The things I like the most in college was the sport.
Also in college i like the most about the library .
And all the teachers they are the best teacher to guide us .

Dislikes

The things i dislike is the over grounded inside the campus college.
The noise where students so much screaming even though when class is going on.
And lastly I dislike the most about our college does not have the graduation day .

Course Curriculum Overview:

By talking the course it is very unique the way North Eastern hills university sets all the syllabus which was easy ways for us to arrange all the time in an exact point of the syllabus in a unique way.

I want to go for research field.. In our college we have lots of club .. Teachers are good they give us proper direction for our better improvement They take exms , exams are sometimes so difficult and sometimes modaret .

The library of the college is big & provides all the books
The college provides free internet for the students
The college has 3 canteens and the food is also good

The campus is small compared to other colleges
The college does not provide any vehicle for the students who came from far places
Summer holidays are very less compared to other state colleges

The course biotechnology is research based & the college provides us opportunities at the end of the course for research but the practical classes should be given more importance like the theory classes

Likes

The teaching faculty along with the teaching methods used by them.
The college events and the participation by most of the students.
The canteens foods and their affordable prices.

Dislikes

The campus doesn’t allow usage of phone in the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is the best 2nd option to opt after neet. As the course study is somehow similar to medical course. And this course is very interesting too. The exam timing is perfect but the difficulty level of the papers can be little liable for the students as this things neeed more concept then mugging up.

A typical college at one of the beautiful state of northeast India.

Likes

It's not like I hate everything about my college but there's not much that I like about it. There are three canteens, food are cheap, even got a small stationery/cafe right next to the canteen.
College has provided drinking water all over the campus. Classes aren't that big but big enough to fit upto 100 kids
There's a nursing room at the lobby and reception at the entrance of the college. And the good thing is that there is dustbins all over the campus

Dislikes

The faculty is good but they are biased towards their local students because of this we feel left out and sometimes neglected.
There are lots of restrictions at college, got no network connection all over the campus,
The washroom are bit far from classes and the classes gets cancelled a minute before the class which is a problem for the students who come from a distance

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is biotechnology so obviously it based on reasearch field. Our course focus on both theoretical as well as practical. The research part influenced me to take this course. We get to do lots of different practicals related to biology, physics as well as chemistry. Though I'm not really got at physics and chemistry but I get to learn a lot from my course as we have to study not just biology but physics and Also chemistry. The frequency and timing of exam completely depends on the subjects we have for NEP students we got 6 subjects so the exam lasts half a month and as for internals it all depends on the faculty that take that course

Likes

The school has a large no of trees and plants
The principal is very sweet and kind towards the students
Sports facilities for the students are very well

Dislikes

Routines are changed many times ,which makes trouble
Some khasi people tries to dominate us intentionally
Some teaching staff doesn’t know how to teach
