- Strong faculty: vssut is reputed for its experienced faculty members who are often experts in their respective fields.
- The college also organises fest which also is a good source of enjoyment and bliss.
- Campus employment opportunities are quite good.vssut provide internship opportunities along with good support from professors also.scholarship facilities are also provided for reserved castes and for general category also who are eligible.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are not so good and the food is also of low quality which is very difficult to eat.
- The hostel and mess. there is corruption in the mess. the mess secretaries are given money to stop students for complaining.
- The conditions of mess and hostel have been worse and it's been degrading day by day. this could have been better.

- Labs are too good it's mechanical work shop fluid lab has been awesome
- Class room are amezing which facilitates smart boards for better education
- It's studious environment and has been great throughout

- Marking scheme is very strict and few teachers are very strict
- It is not closed campus so although it is good but it is not closed
- Few faculties are very strict and non coperate
Placement Experience:
Placement has been excellent in recent years students got highest package of 14Lpa in core branch and average of 7.0Lpa. and talking about other branches placement has been great as well.
In mechanical engineering branch last year 97 students out of 120 has been placed
I want do my higher study after graduation

The campus placement of iur college is very good .The average package of our college is about 700000 and 85% students gets placed .The core branches placement are much better than non core branches.The highest package of our college is about 45 lakhs

In our college placement is above average 80%.The average package of our college is 680000 and the minimum package is 360000 .In our college our core placement is better than software placement.So I can choose it.

- The clubs a student can join is where he can learn practically.

- Odd sem are very small and students needa hurry to vomplete the syllabus
- Old infrastructure however new one is on it's construction process
- Old lab and machine to be comparable with the new standards

Placement are quite good for the mechanical dept. With around 90% placed and an average package of 7 lpa and the highest of 14 lpa by Vedanta and othe renowned companis like maruti suzuki and jsw and tata r major recruiters

Placement of our college students is very good. Maximum number of students placed in college campuse. 90 percentage of mechanical engineering students placed in this year. Vedanta company has offered maximum LPA .

- There are many students clubs which provides great platform to learning industrial skills
- Some faculties are amazing, helpful and understanding
- Lab facilities are great, many equipment are available which are not available in other colleges
Dislikes
- Some faculties are annoying and don't pay attention to students
- There is no closed campus like other old colleges
- Hostel infrastructure are poor and mess food is not upto the mark
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible from 7th semester. Lot of companies comes for the placement like Maruti Suzuki, Vedanta, JSW , Aditya Birla group, Accenture, Deloitte and many more.. More than 80% students get placed. Few other goes for higher studies and competitive exam preparation.

The placement of our college is pretty satisfying. The average pakage of our college is 6.5 lakhs. And almost 80% students get placed from every branch. The companies that visit our college are L&T, Adani etc.

Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placement in their 7th semester. Some companies like JSW, LNT, Bajaj motors come to college to provide placements. The highest package provided is around 14lakhs per annum. Every year around 80-90% of the students get placements form college campus interview. After degree mu plan is also to apply in the college campus interview along with clearing GATE for advantage in placement.

- It is very good college and there placement be good.
- And a very strict college about there rules and regulations.
- Every theory those who are learn we directly applying our lab.
Dislikes
- First of all I dislike about college campus there is no close campus
- Teacher's are good but some time the syllabus will not covered
- Our class are non AC class room. That's not good.
Placement Experience:
In VSSUT 7th semester students are eligible for placemen.
L & T , maruti suzuki, vedanta etc...
Percentage of students getting placement is 70 percent above.my plan after getting the degree to achieve a more successful person those companies.

Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same
- VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
- The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
- The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
- VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
- The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations
Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
