Pondicherry University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

MBA in Pondicherry university is very good as it is much more cheaper as compared to other B-schools. It was affordable for me as well. It also ranks 9th among Central Universities in NIRF as well and Pondi also is a very beautiful place with beaches and coconuts tree all around. The people living there are also very nice.So in order to study here, I had to sit for the MBA entrance test and then after being shortlisted I had to sit for my counselling. I also had a group discussion followed by a PI. The application form of the college was around Rs 800, it must by increased a bit more now. The documents that i had to submit was my graduation marksheets with a minimum of 50%.

From 5 th semester onwards eligibe for placements, the companies are tcs,kaar tech,Zoho,Wipro, hcl, cubes, till now these companies has come,the highest package is 11laks per annum, and the percentage is 90%ofr the students got placed every year, the most of the students placed through the contest conducted by many companies like a hack with infy, codevita, clqtrix , my plan is to do m.tech

Pondicherry University is ranked as 9th among Central Universities in NIRF ranking this shows excellence of my university. Study culture and curriculum is oriented with current global trend with full fledged high-tech complex. I came across PU through collegedunia and found it beneficial for me to go with my dream.

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placement in the campus, the name of companies are kaar, CTS, TCS, ZOHO, as many companies are offering on my campus. The highest and average package is microchip is 12.5lacks per annum. The percentage of the student is 80%above student eligible for placement. My plan after getting the degree, I won't start a new software company like Zoho.

I chose to study in pondi because of the environment of the place. Another reason being I did not find any other suitable college to study this course. After doing some research, this college was still open for admissions and so I applied here. The national ranking of this college is 63 according to NIRF, it is UGC approved as well.The admission process is based totally based on merit, group interview and followed by a personal interview. So i feel lucky to get a seat in this prestigious college, and also for the application fee, I paid rs 1000.

You will be eligible to get a campus interview soon after the third semester. Famous companies like Amazon, CTS, etc will hire you. Almost all of the people got placements. So, don't worry about placements.

For the social science courses, there is no campus placement normally students after completing thier pg they will write the UGC NET exam or continue by PHD studies. courses in the school of social science are integrated programs. We can quit the course after 3 years if we had completed 120 credits. Normally no other universities offer quite options for the integrated programs. But Pondicherry University offers this is its plus points.

From the 8th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Students will get placed in topmost companies and even aboard. The average package offered by the company is 10,000. It may vary according to the skill of the student. Mostly 10 out of 8 students got campus placement. It's a field of visual art, it has more job opportunities, like in cinema filed, art director, product designer, textile designer, graphic artist and so on.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. TCS, Zoho, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, and many companies recruit from this college. The highest package will be 8 lakh per annum and the lowest will be below 1 lakh. About 90% of students got placements.

Freedom, placements, green campus, low fee, good hostels, whole campus wifi connection,4lane roads etc.I didnt even think about loan as fee are very low and most poor students get government, private and institution's scholarships
