The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

Our best university

Likes

I like the teacher of chandigarh University are familiar to all student
The campus was too large so we can easliy explore things
Every department has there own building and sperate fees structure

Dislikes

But some teacher are not familiar if uhh are late 5 min in class you mark ansent
The campus was large it okk but if you choose bba your department was 2 km from the hostel its bad
When paper was start university organise functions it was bad thing

Course Curriculum Overview:

We choose the course for the reason because after some time the AI was in trend so i will coose the AIML. After completing my 12th exam i will start study about languages and other . The best is you can go to centre and learn the languages for better. The exam time i will study night before the exam.

Freshers experience in CU

Likes

There is good girls to boys ratio. I mean there is good balance between them.
The environment is also very good and creative in the campus.
You'll have lots of opportunities to define or inhance your skills through events.

Dislikes

The teaching method is quite common and need to be improved.
The attendance structure, i haven't understand it yet. It sucks.
And the north campus if this college is quite far from the main university campus.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester students are eligible for campus placements. Amazon Highest package is 35 lpa and average is 6 lpa. Around 40 to 60 percent of students are getting placement. Doing the job for the experience and later apply for abroad for a job.

LIFE OF CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

The things i like it most that they do provide infrastructure and opportunities to students. Staff is good.
You will get anything related academics inside the campus and also libraries are well maintained .labs are also good and its clean and neat too
Faculty teaches well and will supervise you in every doubt you ask to them. Security wise its also good .Also conduct big events time to time. Campus is also very likable.

Dislikes

Things i dislike it that they conduct too many evaluation and assesment exams in one semester in which there are also mid terms exam which conducted 2 times in each semester
Some faulty are like school teacher they will give punishment like standing in class for whole lecture and some teacher will call your parents if you score low marks in exams

The placement in our college is average but some are good like some get big placement offers.studnets bcome eligible for campus placement in 3rd year starting in our college this year microsoft visited and also google too so many companies visited here and they made quite amount of offers the highest package was offered by microsoft for 54.67 lakhs and average package is 8 lakh they promised gurranted placement at the starting of admission.i will try to get placemnt asap after getting my degree

Avarage package may be 3-4 lk PA .There ar also some top companies visit here for placement also few students get jobs over there for high package such as 1 Cr but the number is so less 5/100. others get an average package .top companies visit are Amazon,Bandhan bank,Acmegrade and many more

I like most of the things like infrastructures, campus etc
They celebrate all the festival around India like I am from Bihar and here they celebrated chhath puja and I loved that.here every state have different daca like bihar have bihar daca where you can join if you want and participate in program
All the faculty members are experienced and trained

Dislikes

Examinations are just enough to make you depressed like they conducted 2 mst and 1 internal in 4 month of study which is just dipressing
System of study for mba program is worst like you have to submit assignment of every subject,give quize, give presentation and sometimes they asked you to give surprise test
Sequrity gaurd are worst they asked you everytime to wear I'd cards and they didn't allowed pg student to enter the college on Sunday

Okk that's the important topic to discuss for taking addmission in any college.like the are advertising that their college provides 90 percent placement which is not true like some day before they invited us to dcpd and they are showing us placement of the college in year 2024. There they show us that in total 2048 student only 1038 student got placement offer from the college.which is too disappointing to us because they advertise different things .and among all the 1038 student only 60 students get the placement above 7 lpa.

Chandigarh University Distance Education

My course was distance one so it was really comfortable for me to study at my own comfort zone.
Even though it was a distance course, we used to get 1-2 weeks classes on campus through which we used to interact with faculty and peers, along with that we used to live in hostel and experience campus life.
Everything was easy and doable, I took admission very late yet every thing got managed without any burnout.

Dislikes

There was a slight communication gap due to which I had to visit college at every minor inconvinience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was quite up to date, I found very interesting topics in books.The only con was it was quite in layman language, there are few classes provided rest all are for self study and preparations.

The campus provide a wide range of academic program.
the campus has various club which one can join and participate in events
The faculty here provide valuable mentorship and guidance

Dislikes

The campus size is too large dur to which we have to move a lot from one end to other
The campus is Overcrowded with students.

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated placement cell that facilate connection between student and employee. Student are elegible for campus pplacement starting from sixth semister. Numerious companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys etc. regularly visite the compus. higest pakage is around 30lac and median varies from 5 to 8 lpa.

The infrastructure and the availability of resources and materials in labs. They provide various facilities to the hostel students including 4 times meal, free gym , parlour, etc
Behavior of staff and head of departments towards students is good and considerable . Anti ragging policies are also well implemented
The security in the university campus is very good .

Dislikes

The attendance criteria is hard to maintain as some subjects classes are only once a week and if you skip those you'll need 3 weeks just to cover the leave of one day
Sometimes the time table and datesheet are not suitable for day scholars like you may have 4 5 hours break all together and have no where to go .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason I choose for forensics was crime investigation, criminology, evidence analysis, etc. The forensic subjects are quite good and are taught practically as well as theoretically. The practical experience allows us to be more practical and helps in further real life application. I personally believe that we need either real crime scene visits, lab visits or the simulation of the same for better understanding and more relatable real life application understanding of the course. The end semester exams are considered very smoothly nd at least a day is provided for each subject to prepare . This however, is not same for mid semester exams . We have given 3 exams in day and without any day off in between, it becomes tiring, confusing as well as hard to study all of these subjects in a single day time. Exams are not very hard , everything comes from the given syllabus .

Faculty is very good but needed improvement in AC in rooms
That is too cool very great campus life and great interaction
Dcpd department is very good which helps in placement

Dislikes

Students of haryana in university as they are full of fight
Attendance issue 75 percentage is needed
Non supporting higher authorities sometimes

My college offers good placement opportunities and also good classes for competitive exams like upsc and all my plans are getting a good jobs only in some mnc al very good package and very good companies are visiting

I like this university as compared to other universities because Chandigarh university provides so much additional info

Chandigarh university is 100% anti ragging university.
Teachers are very cooperative with students.
Very good environment ofr exploring your potential

Dislikes

Strict rules and regulations of the university
Attendence issue you have to maintain 75% attendance
You have to be very punctual for your classes timing

Many companies visit our University during placement sessions but we have to buy a TPP (training and placement program) to sit in incampus placemnets if haven't purchase th TPP we are not allowed to sit in campus placements. This university provides lots of opportunities for students but students have to do lot of hardwork . Students can aslo take off campus placements as per their capabilities 60-70% students got places every year from this university

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
