The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

Good college for Students

Likes

The College has very good infrastructure.
It has very good placement records with highest of 54 lpa
It provides the various opportunities for different students.

Dislikes

The teachers are not well experienced in teaching.
They gave as lot of assignment word and other stuff.
it has very strict timings for the classes.

Students of 5th semester can able to sit in the on-campus placemnts drives. till now more then 900 companies have visited the college. The highest package was 54 lpa by microsoft. The average pacakage is around 6-10 lpa.

My true opinion on Chandigarh University

Likes

What I like about my college was the campus life because there many social events in the quality of social interaction is also good because it is like a huge campus and we can explorer so much new things and we have very much activities and cochle ac
The social life is good and there are many events
The professionalism is also good and diminuties and learning facilities are well made

Dislikes

The only thing I dislike is some courses have other different campus rather than the main campus

Chandigarh University Honest review by a student

Likes

The campus is very big and beautiful which is quite attention catching.
The Academic blocks and classrooms are nice and clean with ACs
These are so many events for character development and exposure to industry

Dislikes

The attendance criteria is 75 which is kind of unsatisfactory.
The security guards sometimes act as if it’s their own house and treat students wrongly

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is based on the needs of the industry or corporate. Yearly meeting are held with industry CEOs to discuss the curriculum so that only needed subjects are taught. The mid semester exams are of 1hour and end semester exam is of 3 hour.

College life isn’t that bad

Likes

The campus is huge i loved the campus people around and everywhere some activities are going on some music shows people showing there talent it was fun to watch the chaos
The teachers were so sweet and understanding with children
I met great people and had a lot of fun in college

Dislikes

I didn’t like there attendance part it was so unfair
And in my course there was no hod till the last semester so everything was not planned for us and no ones tells us anything whats going on
Some teachers were unfair they should be equal with all the students

I choosed this curriculum because i liked it but half the college year was in covid which was online classes so we didn't get much of practical knowledge as that was very important in our course and when i see this batch and compare to my batch i see this time they are more good in teaching everything and to our batch they didn't focus much

A mix up Experience with my University

Likes

Here, you can discover yourself and meet new people.
A lots of celebrity also visit our University for their Promotion.
Teachers also kept deep knowledge regarding their subjects.

Dislikes

Management of University is just screwed up, they have block their University I’d if any student open up the negative aspects of University.
The Vice - Chancellor also regularly fined many boys if VC shows that they are roaming with girls.
University just don’t care about their Students you will be fined heavily if you even have 74.9% attendance in any subject.

Placement Experience:

The placements provided by CU is pretty average likes of Thapar, Amity, Chitkara and LPU. All 4 of them are identical in placement parameters. Students are eligible for placements from 5th to 6th semester oneards

CHARMS OF CU

Likes

College infrastructure is so good and all the places are accurate and neat and clean.
Faculty's nature is very corporative they teach all the couse syllabus very nicely,
Management is very good of Chandigarh University.

Dislikes

I think campus of cu is very big and sometimes the buggy's are not available,
Food of hostel mess is not very good sometimes students get tired of eating same same food not much change's are provied in menu of mess.
Syllabus is so much of per mst students get frusta For such a long syllabus and the time period is so short for preparation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i choose is so good exam time is 1 hour for mid term exam and 3 hours for end semeste Exam there are total 3 exams per semester. The area they need to improve is the timings given for the preparation for the exams very less time the give . Then when we talk about the opportunities after doing bba there are many scops after doing bba.

Life at Chandigarh university

Likes

Geat college campus and events all year around for you to participate and engage yourself with fun activities.
Knowledgeable teaching staff and friendly teaching environment.
Fee is less as compared to college near my locality and provide much more facilities

Dislikes

Many students as there is no cut-off or criteria for admission
University location is not actually chandigarh but kharar
Sometimes it feels cramped even though the campus is big becausre of too many students

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester the students becomes eligible for campus placements. There are many companies that visits the college and make decent offers. Average package is around 6,00,000 and highest package this year was 32,00,000. Around 70% of the students gets placed till the end of the course.

Honest but not honest review for Chandigarh University

I like that every faculty member are very approachable

Dislikes

I didn’t like that that our BBA campus is very far from the main campus

Placement Experience:

The students from 6th semister are eligible for campus placements. There were 904 recruiters in the placement process and 9124 students were placed of batch 2023-24. The top recruiter of Chandigarh University includes microsoft, google, amazon, IBM, adobe, philips, toshiba, morgan stanley, etc. I plan to help out our family business after getting my degree as my fater is getting old.

Life in Chandigarh University

Likes

Every class was given a mentor who was also a phd holder who helped us guide for our interviews and also for career choices
With career there was a balance of life through events and competitions
Infrastructure was updated every semester with updated technology

Dislikes

It’s a pretty big campus but the transport within was only available for the staff. Students had to waste the whole day to complete a work
Practical projects were not much included in theoretical subjects
They taught traditionally and they focused more on engineering courses more than the theoretical ones

From 5th semester students become eligible for placements only criteria is that there should be no subject he or she had failed. 2:5 is the ratio of students getting placements there. The highest package at that time was bagged by a student of 20 L per annun. The college had also tie ups with MNCs as well These placemnts were running throughout the last two semesters

Chandigarh University is the best and all students should think about the university

Likes

Infrastructure of university and places to hangout
Food outlets are amazing and too affordable
They provide lift in hostels for students and mess food is also good

Dislikes

My campus is outside from Chandigarh University and infrastructure of that college is not good
There is no ac in classes and it is far from Chandigarh University
Computers are not properly working network is not good

Placement Experience:

Placement are good but competition is so high . They provide placement to Bca students with mba students which is not good and that's why i have to apply for off campus placement . Daily so many companies come to associate students with them

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
