The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

Crowd is much as their are almost 80,000 to 100000 students in the university

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college are decent not very good and not bad also. But still competition is very difficult as their is almost 4-5k students in placement batch but trainings are offered by the university for placement.

Great infrastructure the blocks and the departments good

Examination pattern in the college is not good

The course is divided into three units which is very good because after every unit there is exam which is conducted by the University known as mid semester and at last there is an end semester held in the university

Campus is very beautiful and greenery is there. Also here diversity is inclusive and students are there from many states. Apart from that here we have advanced research labs where we can test our products and CU provides funding for our projects too.
Here the environment of students is also good. I haven't met a single student here who is into drinks and smokes and all these bad things. Here inside campus it is not allowed to drink or smoke. Also the campus is anti ragging.
Here there are many technical events and non technical fests in college. technical events are very helpful for gaining coding achivements and experience

Dislikes

The thing I dislike here is the faculties over here. Most of them don't have proper knowledge of the subjects they are teaching
We are overburdened with assignments and projects which are not helpful at all but due to couree curriculum we have to do
Even if students get internship in second and third year then also we don't get noc and are not allowed to go

Course Curriculum Overview:

First is there are good placements here. Many big tech companies like Accenture, Microsoft etc visit here for placements. ROI is also good here. There are TPP sections in which we have special classes for placements preparation for 3years. Faculty members could be more knowledge here. And assignments can be more relevant There are exams every month except for first month of starting of semester. All are of moderate level

Think once to take admission in Chandigarh University.

Infrastructure of University is really nice.
Hostel Cafe's are open till 12 mid night
Faculty of design department is really nice. They are friendly in nature. Always ready to help even in personal work also.

Dislikes

Management of Chandigarh University is disappointing. Management is just like govt. Bank "Yha pr nhi hoga wha jao is counter pr nhi us counter pr., Lunch break, Kl aana and so on."
Sometimes management print wrong marks or name on marksheet.

Placement Experience:

Companies are come for hiring students. But for our departments they are very less companies comes. Last year in interior design only 4 students were placed. And in design department the highest placement package is 7LPA only.

Great lab facilities with proper pcs and number of labs
Many events are organized and fests etc.

The course is well designed according to BCA and with proper subjects. The exams are also of nice level and are not hard or not easy, depends on the students level. Usually it is of medium level.the frequency of mst is every 2nd month

Honest review of my college

Likes

Infrastructure is good ,provide facility like wifi , ac , digital library
College environment is very good , college always organise event in which they invite celebrities
Discpline there are lot of departments are made for the students like department of students welfare

Dislikes

Teachers are not much experienced and not highly qualified
Attendance criteria is very poor always need to maintain 75% otherwise you will not allowed to sit in exam
Management is very poor ,sometimes you will get notifications last hour for holidays

Placement Experience:

Placement is not too good comapny visit here but the major problem is no. of students , there are more than 5000 students in cse department so taking placement is quiet tough , you get will get opportunities.

Review of CU

Likes

There is a lot of exposure as you get hands on experience and get to meet may people from the industry and also you could choose between careers and this university has many options for you.
It is very happening here, there is something happening everytime, like concerts, dj nights and all so there will be a lot of entertainment.

Dislikes

It feels like you are staying in a concrete jungle with respect to IITs and NITs.
There is a lot of crowd so sometimes it feels suffocating.

Placement Experience:

You become eligible from 5th sem for campus placement. All the companies visit here which visits other colleges like NITs and IITs. 90% of the students get placed who opt for placements. The average package is around 3 lakhs but some packages range around 40 50 lakhs

Seventh semester the student become eligible for campus placement and the many company like tcs, cognizant , samsung etc many company are visited in my college campus placment and they provide better placemnt

CU is better than many!!

Maximum outsiders are a part of this university and for them beautiful hostels are built and for each hostel there are 2 mess too.
The university is quite powerful as many influencial people of the country have come here during seminars.
Placements are just too good as a lot of company has drawn their inclination towards our university off late.

Dislikes

The location as it is almost 30 kms from main city and therefore difficult to find transportation.

Placement Experience:

TCS, Google, Amazon and various other top companies are here during the placement sessions. CSE has over 300 students and still over 200 are placed means the placement percentage is quite good. Average placements lastvyear recorded were in the range of 10lakhs annual package.

College facilities in Chandigarh University

Likes

The environment is very nice, so much of exposure, regular events are organised
I loved how teachers played a vital role in shaping my personality, very nice teachers from different region and so much of knowledge
Labs are the place we learnt lots of things we didn’t knew earlier, cooperative staff and teachers

Dislikes

I didn’t like the management of Chandigarh university. We have to run a lot to get a work done
The placement facility for my field is not so flexible to achieve.
The guards of the university are very rude and garsh towards students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course taught us everything literally everything in detail starting from biochem to stem cell technology. Studying these all subjects led us to be specialised in specific fields like Genetic engineering, nanobiotechnology etc. Exams are easy once we start appearing we get habituated to exams. It helps us to prepare in part part . Enough time are given to study.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
