First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

ALL ABOUT NIT JALANDHAR

Likes

badminton which i like that is so good and the court there is best court i ever get
bhangra here is so good i joined the club recently and i am enjoying it
bawre that is acting club and i am enjoying it too actually i like acting

Dislikes

i dislike sometimes the way people talks there sometime their aroogant nature
sometimes i dislike the way teachers do partiality with students
sometimes i dislike the seniors which shows us that yes we are seniors

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum and faculty members were amazing they helped me a lot they helped me not only in my studies but also in improving my mindset i choose this course to get goverment job. faculty student ratio is approximately 1:20 the qualification of the faculty is PHD and they are so experienced in theor work actually teachers in our college put the exams difficult and sometimes it gets difficult for us to even pass the exams so if u r coming here so be sure to get prepared well

Sports ⚽🏀🏈⚾- there are lots of sports competition held during ur academics journey. U cam get a chance to represent the Institute by taking participate in the induction programs and got selected there. There is a facility for indoor gamings .
Prayas- it is a club which is as good as u don't have word for it. I provide free education to the needy students belonging from the BPL background
Workshops- During the 1st year, you have a course for material realisation in which they are teaching you the welding, carpentery,fitting and many much shops also.

Dislikes

Infrastructure- there is a quite short campus. It is all about just 150 acres which i think u can cover 4&5 times daily.
That they firstly give the opportunity to the students which are a district, state and national level champion in any field
In teachings , some professor use some technical words that are difficult to understand. This way student lose their interest and never focus on it latter.

Placement Experience:

Placement s are quite better. There are more than 5000 placement opportunities. There are almost 80.6% students placed during their BTECH Chemical engineering that's a quite good percentage. For CSE IT IS 98% . U have a branch upgradtion opportunities also in this Institute. And also u can take some minor degrees in CSE, DS, IT etc along with your core branches . Also u get many internship opportunities starting from the 1st year. You can luckily placed by yourself .

Dislikes

Short campus, we have to run alot to complete paper works.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from 3rd year only , before that every student is eligible for internship. College try to provide us alot of companies. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Infosys,etc take students from our college. Last year highest package for 86 lpa from ece department, and average way 13lpa. 80% students are placed by last year.

I mostly like the greenery campus of the college
Location of the college is very accurate and easily reachable
Here seniors are very cooperative with juniors, you facilities are more strict there is no seen like regging

Dislikes

Few faculties are more strict with fresher students
Your life became very busy from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

From the 4th semester, most of the students become eligible for campus placement there are many companies that visit and hire students like Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, Tata, Paytm, jio, Samsung, Mahindra, Wipro byju's, physics Wallah, etc on campus highest placement is 51 lakh and average package is 12.44 lakh and average placement percentage is 73.8%.

My experience of being an nit jalandhar student

Likes

The college life here is quite good. You get friends from various states. Many cultural events are good here.
Quality of food as compared to other colleges is good.
Our branch infrastructure is quite good with various facilities.

Dislikes

Small campus of 150 acres which i think should had been more.
Fests are good but i dont know where they spend such budgets like they cant bring a good performer for the fest even.

Placement Experience:

You can go for campus placement in 3rd year. Students basically get PPO after doing internships. The companies visited here are Microsoft, amazon, IndiaMART, Samsung and so on. The highest package offered as per 2023 stats are 51 lpa and the average package given was basically around 13 lpa. Placements vary from branch to branch and the percentage of students getting placed is. For me, I would go for remote jobs after getting my degree.

Likes

Hostel life there is no such stop on your enjoy you can easily do what ever you want except drinking,smoking
Professor are really chill they give you personal attention if you are lacking at something
Seniors are really great and corporative.

Dislikes

There is issue of new club which have not that propare guide.
The size of campus is little short so i also concerning.
May be strictness is little greater side.

Placement Experience:

Placement are good enough for us like if you just want to get a Placement then you can grab it easily because of Institute name and reach but for getting higher package you need to apply for off campus and get a good package. From good package I mean to say 70 lakh +

I love that campus is neat and clean .and dustbins are provided at every corner of the street
I love there are playground for every sports like racing, basketball, volleyball etc
You will get most of your daily need things in the shop in the campus and there are restourant in the campus also.

Dislikes

The campus is small as compared to aither nits
The teaching way of faculties is not good (most of students can't understand)
Hostel has too much time restrictions like hostel will not allow entry after 7.30 pm or you will be fined

Placement Experience:

I am not currently planning for the things I have to do after degree because I am in first year and 1st semester now and the 1st year is the toughest year (according to seniors) so I am currently focusing on my present condition .

Students can’t protest against faculty of system of college
There is partially according to their behaviour in marksheet
Good placement in nitj is created a hype 😅

The placement of the CSE branch is top in nit j. This is the only branch that has a record of 100 per cent placement in 2019. The highest package is 1.2 cr. the placement rate in 2023 is 96 per cent and in 2022 is 92 per cent

Placement statistics and college students are very helpful and friendly.

Dislikes

Hostel maintainance, less connectivity of college to city. As its located on highway.

Students become eligible for internships after the 4th semester and for placement after the 6th semester. Avg. The package for my brach is above 18 lakhs. There is a different Avg. Package for different branches. Overall college placement percentage is about 85 percent. Some students opt for higher studies.

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
