First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Choose Ece because it is an evergreen branch. You can choose either coding or core during your course because almost every company in the software development field and Core Ece companies allow Ece students. Professors are highly qualified and very experienced. As the Ece syllabus is very difficult, exams are a little hard in Nit Jalandhar. The average cgpa of the batch is less than 7.5. There are 2 minor exams and 1 Major exam.

Good Placements opportunities and better life after degree
Excellent campus with well structured greenery everywhere
Hostel life is very good in engineering college got very good friends

CGPA Criteria for on campus placements i.e above 7 Cgpa
Attendance criteria in Engineering college and college timings
Sometimes Faculties not available so guest faculty comment that do not teach seriously

Placement Experience:

The placements of national institutes are good. Now As compared to our college, it comes in the top 10 NITs so placements in non-core branches are very good like Computer Science and Information Technology also in core branches ECE has good placements. The average package of these three branches varies. 14-17 LPA. Also, 90% of students from these branches got placements. if you get good placements then plan after getting a degree is a dream job in top MNCs. like Google Amazon Microsoft Salesforce etc these companies also provide internships and ppo opportunities to students of 3rd year and 4th years so you are eligible in 3rd year.

The infrastructure is good and air conditioner classroom
Very green campus . And gender ratio is avarage
Faculty members are very supportive and good

Dislikes

The thing that I dislike that they are not utilising the full campus field
Practical work is poor .. theoretically all cleared
Professor are work very slow at their level in case of any difficulty

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is very good, almost everyone got an average package of 8-10 laks in last year everyone got a package. My plan is basically to achieve a good on-campus placement in our college, almost 90% of students got placed in the mechanical department.

the infrastructure is good and you can enjoy the vibe of this greenary campus .
the faculty are good they are all have done mastery in their job and they have high knowledge about their field.

Dislikes

things that i have disliked about my college is that campus size my expectation from this college in terms of college size is high but at the end i got hurt because of this campus size.

the campus placements are good in recent years the placements are good if your cgpa is good then you can easily take a good campus placement. from the 7th semester, you are eligible to take placements. The highest package offered by a company made is 1.2cr and the average package is 8.5lpa. and in every branch, approx 90% of students are eligible for placements.

Life at NITJ

Likes

Facilities are extremely knowledgeable and can even guide you in research field
Campus life is nice and peaceful.You will have great time with friends
Placement are good in core branches unlike other colleges.Almost companies from every branch do visit college.

Dislikes

Infrastructure needs to be improved as its not upto the mark
Mess food quality needs to get improved as the food sometimes is very bad
Fests needs to be conducted on a large scale as currently they are not upto the mark

Placement Experience:

Students usually sit in the campus placement from the 4th year that is 7th semester. Many companies visit our college like Amazon Flipkart microsoft reliance industries maruti suzuki etc. The highest packages are usually taken by cs students. The highest package is usually around 40-45 lakhs given by either Amazon or Flipkart. The average placement is around 10 lakh. Almost 90 percent of the students get placed.

The first thing which I like about the college is the infrastructure and the environment.
Next thing which I like about the college is the clubs we have different clubs for different type of interest which people may have.
Thing which I like about the college is the placements and internships opportunities.

Dislikes

I don't like the food of the this college because I am from east side of India.
Sometimes we don't like the faculty because they can be boring sometimes
The other thing that I don't like is the night life everything should downs at almost 10 o'clock at night.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to work in industries in the future. Here we have a good student-faculty ratio. Faculty are highly qualified and have good knowledge about the subject and also have high experience in their fields. Here you find 2 minor exams and an end-sem exam. You can easily pass if you start preparing before a week.

A simple and useful review on NITJ

I liked the college atmosphere and greenery the people here are so friendly and there is a lot of security inside the campus.

Dislikes

There will be no place to complaint about our fee details and late fee will be strictly taken and there will be no place to listen about our problems

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year, you are eligible to sit for campus placements and the placements here are good for CS, IT, and ECE and for the rest average package is around 8 lakhs per annum. You can even opt for higher studies through college.

Campus life is decent here
Good company visit for campus recruitment and good placement percentage.
Lots of sports and extracurricular clubs give vast opportunity to explore

Dislikes

Course curriculum is quite outdated and can be improved in terms of practical knowledge
Mess food are not that good which need major improvement
The Campus Is Quite Outside the City which creates problems sometimes if have any work in city.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after 6th semester, students are eligible for placement. Almost more than 75+ companies visit our campus for Campus Placement. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, TCS, Wipro etc are major recruiters. The highest Package offered till now is 1.2 cr The average package is around 11.2 lpa Approximately 70%+ of students get placed. I am going for a placement.

College placement are very good in terms of avg package as well as package.
College has good secured campus and nice location
The teacher student ratio is good ,most most of the teacher are PhD holder from IITs.

Dislikes

The campus is small,so the facilities are very limited .
The sports facilities are not up to the mark

Placement started from the 7th sem Highest package for mechanical last year was 24 lpa and the average is 8 lpa overall highest package last year was 1.2cr from ECE.mMechanical department has the highest placement percentage of 95 %. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Honda, Samsung, Accenture, Goldman Sachs etc come to campus as well as some PSUs

College experience - Great

Likes

Good campus life, nice teachers, good friends.
Campus is green, there are many plants and good people.
Teachers are always ready for help and really nice.

Dislikes

Campus, whole campus is really small and bad.
Cleanliness is negligible, hostel life is really bad.
Mess food is worst, food is really bad and unhygenic.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements after the 6th semester. Companies visit the campus every now and then. The highest package is 52 lpa from Amazon and varied kinds of profiles are available. From my branch, 92% of students were placed.

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
