IIT Ropar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for campus placements. All the big companies you can think of, come to IIT Ropar. The highest package is around 70 Lacs and the average is around 15 lakhs. almost 80% of students got placed every year.

There is one minor and one major, there are quizzes too. Usually grading is up to professors individually. Exams are neither too easy nor too hard to pass. Being an IIT, one can't expect the exams to be too easy either

96% of the students from cse got placed with an average salary of 24 LPA. Both core and non-core companies come in IIT Ropar. Top recruiting companies are google, amazon, Microsoft, Samsung, and Flipkart.

This year the placement was around excellent,80% of students got their dream job and some didn't appear for the interview due to their dream of higher studies. The highest package was around 44 LPA and the average was 20.5 LPA in the companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Ponds, TCS, etc. If you have a hard time and don't get a placement you can appear for GATE etc. or approach higher studies.

Placements are very high as average package for CSE students is 26 lpa and highest domestic package is 82 lpa and all over average package is 17lpa. All students are well paced in high profile companies and the lowest package offered was 8 lpa .

Placements are very good in both SD and in the core. Top companies like amazon, Microsoft, CoinDcx, google etc came . In core also many companies came . Internship are also good. Average package around here is 18-20 lac

Being one of India's top engineering colleges, we expected good placement, and the college exceeded our expectations. The highest income offer was around 35 LPA, and the median income offer was around 12 LPA, which is a very good ROI. Throughout the year, the university is also capable of maintaining a placement rate of 90%. Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Adobe, IBM, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Samsung, Intel, and others are among the college's top recruiters.

All the professors are well educated with ph.D's. They are very helpful and solve our doubts. Faculty teaching skills definitely help to enhance our practical skills. Academic pressure is very low here and I love physics. So, I choose this course. The terms are easy to clear.

Being part of the IIT brands is the main USP of the college and our college is able to attract very good companies and lots of professional opportunities are available in our college. The plus point is then more than 60+ companies were part of the placement drive and my academic record was also very good so I was able to seat in more than 2 placement interviews because if we have a good academic record we can seat into more than 2 interviews for the placement. The highest placement offer of our college was around 40 LPA and the average salary offer is around 16 LPA.

To be eligible for the course I had submitted GATE exam score where my score was 700. With this score it was not easy to be in the best colleges but i say that was my luck that I got into the college.
